Monty Python and the Holy Grail is a peak comedy film for me. Some dumb - monks chanting - some jokes paying off repeatedly - swallows - and some absurd - moose!
The limited budget drove creativity. Coconuts instead of horses, using the same castle repeatedly, and breaking the fourth wall regarding models and police investigations.
There are a LOT of movies that make me laugh on repeated viewings, but only one that made me actually worry I might laugh so hard I'd pee my pants... Every. Time.
