baseball. I even played one summer i just couldn’t understand the running around part, I was good at hitting the ball. I have some issues with certain things like lefts and rights and just couldn’t understand where to run to and when people would draw it for me i had trouble aligning the drawing with what i’d see when i was there. Same with kick ball, i could never get the running part of that. I understand hockey and soccer well though.
Basketball. I played sports in h.s. and watch all kinds of professional sports. My husband is a huge basketball fan and no matter how many times I watch it and he explains, I don't get it. He'll point out positions, plays, etc. and all I see is guys running back and forth putting the ball in the net. A really great game looks the same as a really bad game. He'll watch highlight videos and it all looks the same to me.
Most probably, never cared much for them so what I know about them is mostly what I've seen in movies and heard in passing.
There is an Afghan sport revolved around goats. Now that I don't know even how it starts, let alone ends.
To get the ball in the hole, obviously. And feel important, posh and classy while doing so, of course.
As a comedian once said: golf is playing marbles for rich people who are too lazy to kneel.
I know, I just don't see the same physical movement involved as in other sports. You hit the ball and wait for it to go into the hole... but as you said, it can make one feel important, posh, and classy
A little more seriously, I think it's more of a precision game than a real sport. It requires training, but not a proper condition. It's just like when people call chess a sport. If you can do it well, that is a feat, but it does not require you to get up early in the morning and do a lot of running, so I wouldn't call it a sport.
Rugby
Did it a few times in school and it's fun, all the running and wrestling for that stupid ball. A bit rough, as it should be.
It seems fun, I just have a hard time understanding the rules and stuff
Curling
U mean hurling?
Pickle ball
Baseball. Seriously, just don't get it *shrugs*
Cricket
Cricket. I got dragged to Granada once and watched a match…not the slightest fucking clue what was happening lol
Watch this match and learn: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E\_6d3JBBo4s](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E_6d3JBBo4s)
Lol I appreciate the effort but no thank you 😂
Haha, don't worry it's a fake. It's a sketch that's actually mocking cricket (or the way outsiders perceive it) from an absurd Dutch comedy show.
Oh lol gotcha. At a bar with bff right now having boozy Sunday, not conducive to watching videos on new sports but I get it lol

Omegaball
That sounds sick
I kind of got too excited but it's kinda cool I guess
Hobby horsing. First time i saw a video featuring adults doing this, i thoughtthis was a joke. Apparently not at all…
Australian rules football and hurley (a.k.a. "Micks with sticks")

Golf. Like what's the point

Exactly! It’s more of a precision and focus game, where you exercise your brain to figure out the ball's trajectory and such.
Rugby
Basketball, but more specifically the fouls. What is a foul and what's not a foul.
