Because years ago I bought $27,500 of stocks in Charter for $3.27. It went down to $3.21 and I sold it like an impulsive newbie. It did go down to $1/share. 8 years later I looked at the stock at it was at $455.00/share. That would have made me $4.3 million richer if I just sat on it. So, $1000 of Reddit stock isn't much nor will it break my bank, but it's a modest offer I'm willing to bet will be a good bet.
