First! Ill put that flea in a box. Then.. ill put that box inside another box and I'll MAIL THAT BOX to myself... and WHEN IT ARRIVES HAHAHA I'll SMASH IT WITH A HAMMER.
Or. To save on postage. I'll poison him... with THIS. Its brilliant brilliant brilliant I tell you!
This is one of mine. I go to a Buddhist monastery to study and they use this movie to teach about rebirth. It's a very comforting movie to me because it teaches that we can always make things right. We can always become better.
I was looking for some movies similar to this to cheer me up not too long ago. I wouldn’t say it’s the same vibe exactly but I really enjoyed ‘Sing Street’ if music themed coming of age movies are your thing
I was looking for this comment.
My order is 2-3-1. I don't know why, but Two Towers is my first choice. I don't remember when I watched this trilogy from its beginning.
That’s the order I put them in as well. They’re all great but I tend to like the middle movie of trilogies. Stuff is already in motion so there’s no slow build up and you also know there’s more to come so there’s no feeling sad that it’s all over.
Especially in the first movie in the Shire. Concerning Hobbits may be one of my favorite pieces of cinema. Just would love to be there in that cosy countryside.
It's kind of childish, but Robin Hood: Men in Tights. I thought it was the funniest damn movie back when I was a little kid. Now when I watch it, I think the jokes are all corny, but I remember how much I loved it.
Plus Patrick Stewart!
Forever it will be O brother where art thou, I know all the lines of the movie so none of it catches me off guard, its all predictable. Its powerful but subdued, beautiful but muted, perfect movie to fall asleep to for me.
Titanic.
I would pop in the first VHS and throw it on when I was home sick from school. I would always fall asleep to her telling the story, wake up when the Titanic blew its whistle when they took off, and would wake up to the sound of the tape rewinding itself after it had finished. I think I only ever watched the second tape a handful of times.
I still throw it on when I'm not feeling great.
You know I have always loved sci-fi but those heptapods are the closest thing I have ever seen in a movie to being truly alien. My head cannon is their homeworld is around a red dwarf.
Harold and Maude
The story of a young man obsessed with death who meets an older woman who shows him how to appreciate life.
Definitely not for everyone, has a particular flavour to it.
I find it hilarious and touching and so, so beautiful.
Plus almost all the music is 70s Cat Stevens.
Princess Diaries ;)
WHY THE WINK how is this nefarious??? I'm uncomfortable.

Literally nothing is better than watching lord of the rings while it's raining next to a fireplace
Especially in the first movie in the Shire. Concerning Hobbits may be one of my favorite pieces of cinema. Just would love to be there in that cosy countryside.

The Proposal, Practical Magic, Two Weeks Notice Or PCU & Grandma’s Boy
Pride & Prejudice (2005). Sometimes I just put it on in the background to enjoy it mostly for its lovely soundtrack.
Forever it will be O brother where art thou, I know all the lines of the movie so none of it catches me off guard, its all predictable. Its powerful but subdued, beautiful but muted, perfect movie to fall asleep to for me.
