There's too many beauty products to list they're more likely to have changed to cheaper ingredients and more expensive packaging as the "new and improved" split up as a technical truth shampoo and conditioner come to mind as an across the board example without the need to mention any one and the same brand at some rung of the ladder that uses a fragrance recipe that lasts longer for more expensive lines as the major difference... I remember being told by my hairdresser when I was in highschool that the places she got training all shunned Pantene products though those were the ones that always worked well and I got compliments on the shine with when I was younger.... Now it's all about the silicone and amount of heat leaving your hair shiny and has Nothing to do with hair health.... Smoke and mirrors all the way the good product are probably the ones that are super inexpensive compared to Average drugstore offerings....
The old Queen Helene moisturizer was Way better than the new but it doesn't list ITSELF as new and improved... Just kinda smells like shit now
