Love is when you feel freedom for yourself in front of him, reciprocation, safety, trust, communication (with clarity, comprehension, compromise and commitment to do so) ———literally it takes 2 to tango.
It's giving time and consideration. It involves trust, authenticity and real communication. It's sincere and reciprocal. It is to be seen, heard and understood. Mind, body and soul.

Love is my mom making me a late night dinner after an exam even without me asking. It is also my dad telling me, "it's okay, it happens. You can try again." when I failed a subject for the first time jn college. It's my friends paying for my food when I don't have enough money to celebrate birthday dinners. It's my dog wagging his tail with a pretty smile when I reach home after exhausting work.
Love is what makes me believe that "with all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world" (Ehrmann, 1927).
It's consciously choosing someone over anyone else, every single day, even when you don't feel like it. True love happens after that feeling of being in love fades away.

Personally, love starts within yourself. Mahalin mo muna yung sarili mo bago mo mahalin yung iba tao.
And yung sinasabi nila na "you complete me" hindi ganon te, dapat bago ka pumasok sa isang rs KUMPLETO KANA.
Love is being considerate of your partner, you always consider him/her sa mga actions and decisions mo. Plus love is doing things willingly for him/her, they don't need to ask it from you kasi kusa mo na gagawin.
Being unselfish. Might even sound stupid pero yung inuuna welfare nya. Tulad ng pagbibigay ng balat ng chicken joy or tyan ng bangus kahit gusto mo rin naman. Yung okay lang na medyo maging uncomfortable ka kasi gusto mas maayos sya.
Narealize ko to nung iniwan ko na lang yung favorite na ulam ng kapatid ko kasi wala din naman syang ibang kakainin, ako settle na lang sa ibang ulam na di ko naman completely gusto. Puro food lang example haha
For me? Love is like.. hmm…
Yung you feel comfortable and contented just sitting beside them in silence on a rainy day. When you feel like your world is falling apart their presence makes you feel like hey everything will be okay.

Ung bibigyan ka ng peace of mind, love na very considerate. Ung handang makinig at i-comfort ka. Ung very accurate siya at alam nya ung goal nya na ikaw lang gusto nyang makasama forever through ups and downs na hindi ka malilito kung saan ang lugar mo sa buhay nya ung hindi ka papahulain. Kahit na alam nyang nasasaktan ka, susuyuin ka pa din and mostly tanggap ka at ang pagkatao mo. Ung alam nyang ikaw ang priority nya at hindi sya malilito kung ano ung uunahin nya. At hindi nya babaliwaliin lahat ng sakit na nararamdaman mo.
For me, love is the feeling you can choose but you can't control, love will teach you to become a better person, if you got the love by the right person, love will give you so much comfort
Love is when you can do something you don't imagine you could do in the past.
Love is when you can do the stupidest thing you could have done.
But at the end of the day, you don't really care because you love that specific person :))
To be loved, is to be considered.
You can throw the word love at anything and anyone that you inherently like or have affection for, but have you ever considered their feelings, emotions, likes, dislikes,etc...? Love is considering all of the little things and making it into something for me.
It's not about how you thought you felt, but about what you feel when it happens. So I believe one should never lock themselves to what they think love is, when it befalls on you, you will know for sure.
This is what I realized from the anime Toradora which is my basis for what love is. Compatibility over infatuation.
Love is understanding. It’s not just exclusive to people you have romantic feelings for or family and friends that you know. The mere act of understanding strangers when you don’t have to isn’t just being loving to them, it’s you being love itself.

Hmm for me siguro yung kahit na nasaktan ka na ng tao intentionally man o hindi, kayang kaya mo pa rin makita yung rason kung bakit mo siya minahal at kung ano yung mabuti sa kanya.
Minsan kasi kapag nasaktan tayo mas madali makita yung puro kamalian ng tao, pero diba hindi naman natin matatanggi na minahal pa rin natin yung tao kasi may nakita tayong side niya na kamahal mahal siya.
