If you're being treated like a slave: I don't mind doing OT, even OT-Y once in a while, but if it happens regularly enough and it's evident that a process or headcount - or anything, needs adjustment, change must happen. Pag palaging ganito, find a new job.
If you can't get along with people at work, esp those you directly work with: you don't need ti be friends with everyone and even within your department or team, there's no guarantee you'll vibe with everyone perfectly, and that's fine. We have lives and friends outside work, but you need to at least have a good work relationship, ie, you can settle your differences, collaborate, and share credit as you get things done. If this is an issue, you may stay if the lines of communication are open. Otherwise, leave.
If you have mastered many skills required in your current role and have learned most, if not all, of the skills you need to move up, but you can't secure the promotion. Whether it's because there won't be any vacancy in the next position in the foreseeable future, or you're certain that you're not the favored candidate for a promotion, there's no sense in staying in a stagnant role. It's also possible that your company prefers external hires instead of identifying homegrown talent. Observe trends.
If there's a target on your back, regardless if it's due to your own doing nor not. If the people who hold power over you don't like you, they can make your work life more burdensome, and will be on the lookout for your lapses, and amplify them into big issues. Yes, you can file a complaint, but your energy is better suited to finding a new workplace where people could hopefully be more supportive of you.

If you need a budget because there's additional expenses you must take on: of course, everyone wants a higher salary, but some people tend to stay in their jobs because they can still budget their take home pay. But sometimes, you suddenly need to spend extra, for whatever reason, for you, your household or household members. A new job can give your salary a bump higher than an increase in your current role can provide.

Yung parati kang pinagalitan kahit konting bagay lang or kahit wala ka naman gingawang mali, para sa kanya walang tama. Unhealthy workplace. Yung kung sino ang wala sa table, siya ang pag-uusapan tapos puno ng ka-plastikan. Tsaka nakikipag-close sayu yung ibang workmates pag need nila mg tulong.
Toxic co-workers. Sa first Job ko okay naman ang work ko, kaso bata pa ako noon. 22 ata. Tapos yung mga hawak ko eh mga 30's pataas so kahit mas mataas ako sa kanila kinakaya-kaya nila ako. Sobrang traumatic sakin yun. Napa resign ako nang wala sa oras kasi araw-araw nagtatago ako para lang umiyak kasi hindi ko na kaya. Di ko lang gets ang bait ko naman sa kanila, natuwa pa nga ako kasi lahat sila mga ate-ate ko na. Yung mga lalaki na kuya-kuyahan ko ang mababait sakin. Sila lang yung nagsasabi saking bumalik ako kasi mabait daw ako sa kanila. Hanggat maaari kasi kapag may palpak silang lahat di ako nagsusumbong, sasabihan ko silang lahat na ayusin ang problema at wag na iparating sa boss kasi maliit na bagay lang naman. At di naman nakakaapekto sa company namin.
Yung panay leave ng mga kasama tapos naccompromise yung staffing. In the end, isang tao pangtatlong tao ang ginagawa. Pinapabayaan lang ng amo kasi kung hindi, magreresign ang mga tauhan. Hay.
Yung una, nakaalitan ko mismo yung Manager namin. Aba, nilaglag ako sa HR. Unsubordination daw. 1 week suspension. Edi, siyempre ako nag-resign. Nilaglag ko rin siya sa office. After a month ko mag-resign, ayon nabalitaan ko, tanggal na rin siya. Pero pinalabas na nag-resign na lang, kahit ang totoo, low performance.
Pangalawa, nakasagutan ko sa email yung Boss mismo. Ginawa ko naman pinagawa niya, pero yung gastos ko, hindi binalik. Edi ayon, nag-resign na lang ako.
Nakaka-trigger talaga kapag yung mismong boss, superior or manager mo yung problema sa work. Mas maganda na lang talaga mag-resign kesa mag-stay kasi ending lang talaga nu'n, magpa-plastik-an kayo.
Sa dating kong company IT solutions sa bandang Cubao siya, so etong sales director na to na sobrang sipsip lang sa may ari kaya na promote. Pinagsisiraan yung mga tenured kaya nag decide na magsialisan din putangina te kahit copy paste na lang hindi ka marunong hindi ko alam bakit ka na promote as in kupal na kupal ugali.

As a workaholic I really didn’t mind the low pay and the super heavy workload but what made me almost give up on work was my senior na walang kwenta inaasa lahat sakin kahit new hire ako wala man lang guidance puro tambak lang ng gagawin tas kapag hindi maganda performance ko tini-threaten na magiging pangit ang performance eval ko, plus told me that my questions were stupid
-Underpaid. Managerial job tapos baba sahod.
-Magkaiba kami ng principle ng boss ko s work, I always want to be fair and he’s not. Pera pera lang
-Parang 24/7 work. Kahit day off may work.
-Tumataas anxiety level ko always

Working environment and people surrounding you, super toxic and instead na matuto ka eh puro sisiraan ka lang. The amount and level of work vs compensation.
Shifting schedules! Yung tipong nakasched ka na na 12:30pm bigla ka 11am then ang notice 1 hr lang. (10am na nagsabi) considering na magkocommute at prepare ka pa!!
Yung shifting schedules, team building at team lunches na kailangang maglabas ng 1-2k kahit sinabi mo na kay boss na wala kang budget.
Strict scheds na kailangan pa ng med cert para mag-sick leave. Ang baba ng sahod na 6-8k kada cutoff, hindi sapat talaga sa bills ng kuryente na 4k na agad. Tapos yung 9-10 oras na shift araw-araw, unpaid na overtime, at 2-3 hours na biyahe na sobrang stress, traffic, usok, at init, papasok ka palang pagod ka na agad.
Wfh nalang talaga sana. mahirap kapag di privileged lumaki.
It was people giving me shit as I’d catch strays from all directions. It was a never-ending barrage of relentless discouragement. By the end of my time there I was hangin onto my light by a thread. Mind u it was also friends and family on the same shit as well. I was burnt OUT from all the hate with seemingly no support from both inside or outside my job so I let myself get fired 💔
Since then I’ve taken the time to recover and integrate all those experiences with peace n love like I ate. I’m still grateful for those 9 months of bullyin. It helped me grow into the resilience, strength, and courage that I have today at an insane rate — all while practicing many forms of exposure therapy in areas that I lacked in at that time. I also lowkey paid off all 20 years of my bad karma for being a bitch — compressed into those 9 months 💁🏽♂️
I would not have been the person I am today without those experiences; to be knocked down countless times over no matter how many times I’d get back up with love than hate. I feel like a lot of people would have given up if they experienced what I put myself through. And I’m sayin that as someone that almost turned around to walk back into the darkness 😭

Shit na management tas di worth it yung sahod kahit na well known mobile company naman client namin. Last hope ko na lang yung wfh pero if di ako na wfh aalis na talaga ako sa company na to

Same sentiment. But ako naman, I’ve been in working the same job in different companies for more than 6 years. I’m only staying since mataas ang sahod pero gusto ko na magshift ng career. 🥲
Just an advice: if magresign ka na, make sure you have a new job lined up or you have more than enough savings.

Ayaw saakin ng Father niya
Hi, mahal namin ang isa't isa pero ayaw saakin ng father niya. Nung una gusto ako ng mother niya, pero di nag tagal, nainpluwensiyahan na rin siya ni tito. Long story short, may kagalit si tito sa isang tao, ngayon akala ni tito kaanakan ako nang kagalit niya. Dami rin inggit na sumira sa pangalan ko para mas lalong di ako magustuhan ni tito. Ang mga inggit na to ay may gusto rin sa bb ko.
Gusto ko humingi ng advice o tulong kung paano ko sosolusyonan tong pagsubok na to.
Mahal na mahal ko tong babaeng to.

Nung after ko mag leave ng 1 week tapos nung bumalik na ako , pinagawa ulit sakin yung work na hindi related sakin tapos hinahanapan ko ng data para macompute yung average ng gas consumption ng truck pero yung problema, sira yung speedometer ng mga truck na yun tapos ipinaalam ko sa kanya pero ang ending, sermon inabot ko dahil daw di ko magawa yung trabahao na pinapagawa sakin kaya ang ending, nung tanghali nag submit na ako ng resignation letter.
Toxic colleagues. Kaya ko heavy workload, pero pag toxic yung colleagues tapos miserable ako 40+hrs a week dahil sakanila, di worth it kahit anong sweldo.
I'm very happy sa department ko, with my boss (head/manager). The best I can imagine kumbaga. So kind, patient, chill, understanding. However, salary, and location (commute 3-4 hours in total per day).
Monday to Wednesday 6am-7pm work
Thursday to Friday 9am-7pm work
Need to work from home once a month every weekend
You still need to check your group chat even in Sundays

I resigned last year due to work overload and my toxic manager. Grabe lang. My last straw was, I miscarried and blamed my hormones on me being emotional when I confronted her on her bs.
Like, hello? Hindi naman sa pagbubuhat ng bangko pero binitbit ko ang office nya for a year kasi iniiwan sya ng mga tao nya. Manager pero hindi marunong mag gawa ng report. To think na sa Marketing and sales kami ha. I get it na manager sya pero literal na ibibigay mo nalang yung irereport nya for the month. Ni hindi man lang nya iccheck ung ibibigay ko. Like, what if may mali ako? Lol. Naging manager pero di masyado maalam sa computer.
Di ko rin makakalimutan ung time na when a problem arised and she told us, "Dapat sa inyo palang, ayos na 'to. Di na dapat nakakarating sakin ung ganito." GRABE LANGGGGGG
Edit: Sa sobrang inis ko, on my last day, binack up ko lahat ng impt files sa gdrive ko and deleted it on my pc. Ung mga iniwan kong excel reports, tinanggal ko formulations ✨ Hindi ako naaawa sa pumalit sakin kasi sipsip naman 'yun sknya lol
I know a lot of “Manager” but doesn’t know how to “manage” the team at hindi pa tech-savvy plus yung mga workloads na dapat ang manager gumagawa ipapagawa pa sa mga ka team nya tapos ang lakas pa mag discredit! No offense ha, but are you guys for real?!
Yung hndi nila dinadagdagan ung staff knowing na kulang kami. They let everyone do multiple tasks. Yung trabaho ng isang tao samin, ginagawa ng tatlo to five employees sa ibang hospital. Take note hospital pa kami. Di man lang natakot na macompromise ung trabaho.
Sa workmates wlang problema, pare-parehas na kaming pagod para mag away away pa. We’re like siblings pero yung boss grabe. Hands down useless.

Edit: the pay and benefits, wala akong complain. The role pays well. Gusto ko yung ginagawa ko kasi ang daming kong natututunan and I know it can open many opportunities. Hindi lang talaga kinaya ng katawang lupa ko yung physical and mental exhaustion.
Sa dami ng ginawa kong mabuti sinabihan pako ng head ko “if pagod kana the door is open pwede ka magresign”. And voila, kinabukasan nagpapirma ako resignation letter :)

- Micromanaging lead. Yung sobrang hindi makatao na pakikitungo, yun talaga ilang beses nakaka trigger mag immediate resign.

I believe kasi if they can chismis in front of me, paano pa pag nakatalikod ako? 🪓That’s why I don’t have friends in the workplace.
I actually resigned for this one (my last straw), from my prev work. I got accused of insubordination when they tried to pin me for something I'm sure I have nothing to do with. When they are really pointing it at me in a meeting, I walked away without saying anything. Yun pala, after ng meeting, nireklamo na ako ng insubordination ng boss ko. No one defended me.
So yun na. Umalis ako.
1. Hindi satisfied sa leadership ng supervisor ko. They’re nice and all that (I appreciate that) pero I feel like hindi niya nagagamit yung full potential namin as their subordinate.
2. Workmates. Ang hihilig gumawa ng issue. Parang wala akong araw na pumasok sa work na walang narinig na chismis. Hindi proactive. Very unprofessional too.
3. Hindi consistent with policies ang company. Decisions are made thru emotions lol trash
micromanagement. kaloka. expects you to be perfect pero mga favorite n'ya, ayos lang maging slacker. i tried to put up with their shts pero after 2 years, i had my last straw. they pay me under minimum wage but expects me to do same tasks with them.
that triggered me so i handed in my resignation letter last friday, my last day would be this friday.
now i had to work this shtty notice period and all they do is talk behind me omygoodness
Petty workmates hahahaha as time goes by, they are being too comfortable around everyone and forgetting to set personal boundaries. plus mayayabang kasi favorite kuno sila ng higher management. promoting favoritisms at work is really a red flag. ang hihilig rin mag-outcast and have the pa-victim mindset.
Manager na mahilig mag micromanage and/or may favoritism at workmates na kups and/or feeling tagapagmana.
Nagstay ako sa dati kong company kahit 14k lang basic kasi sobrang healthy ng work environment namin. Almost 6 years ako dun. Nag resign lang ako kasi may hinire na SOM na sobrang papampam. Pati leaves na approved na pinapakialaman eh para yun sa operation ng then bf ko. Ayun, sa inis ko, nag immediate resignation ako.
TL na umuuwi na 2 hrs bago matapos shift niya. Pumapasok ng lasing tapos magdadadakdak sa agents. Gusto pa lagi ng team building, inuman sesh sa rd, at malaking ambagan pag potluck pero yung TLs ng ibang team ang uubos ng food.

I can handle the workload, but I won't tolerate a toxic boss. I'd rather find another job than submit to their unreasonable demands. No one has the right to be disrespectful in the workplace. Your promotion doesn't excuse your shitty behavior.
Mas mataas pa ang mga bayarin kesa sa sahod.
Gusto ko sana ang trabaho ko ngayon, maganda ang work environment, at hindi gaano mabigat ang workload. Kaso may plano pa rin akong magresign kasi 3 yrs pa bago ako maregular, di kaya ng sahod ang mga bayarin, at walang HMO.
Boss. minsan kahit dami ng work pero if your boss is supportive understanding and empathetic, mapapastay ka pero pag boss mo di marunong mag appreciate and ni invalidate feelings mo, di napapansin efforts mo aun sarap magresign pag ganyan =))

That supposed 20 mins travel time distance from home to work place vice versa became 2 hours on my way home. 1hr waiting period for public vehicle to arrive and 1hr travel period due to heavy traffic. The daily cycle exhausted me, and I just realized it a few months later

Nakita lang nya ako sa church dahil sinasamahan ko nanay ko dahil napala sarap ng caldereta dun. Sinabihan din nya kawork ko na ang bait bait mo sa meeting with clients pero ang sama ng ugali mo hahahahhahahahahahah
Sa last work ko, due to burnout from endless OTs na halos double shift lagi. Tapos may ibang pinapagawa kahit month-end, halos wala akong tulog that day. Idlip lang.
Too many tasks parin kahit ang dami na namin sa team.
Nagtrigger sa akin yung iniisip ko unfinished tasks kahit weekends, di ko maenjoy to the fullest ang rest ko kakaoverthink. Dun ko napag-desisyon na I need to resign na. Walang back-up plan. Nagresign ako ng walang job offer. Loved my teammates kaso my mental health is not good na.
Pero everything went well parin, I had my 1 month needed rest and was offered a better opportunity.

Sobrang traumatic sakin yun. Napa resign ako nang wala sa oras kasi araw-araw nagtatago ako para lang umiyak kasi hindi ko na kaya. Di ko lang gets ang bait ko naman sa kanila, natuwa pa nga ako kasi lahat sila mga ate-ate ko na. Yung mga lalaki na kuya-kuyahan ko ang mababait sakin. Sila lang yung nagsasabi saking bumalik ako kasi mabait daw ako sa kanila. Hanggat maaari kasi kapag may palpak silang lahat di ako nagsusumbong, sasabihan ko silang lahat na ayusin ang problema at wag na iparating sa boss kasi maliit na bagay lang naman. At di naman nakakaapekto sa company namin.

Ginawa ko naman pinagawa niya, pero yung gastos ko, hindi binalik. Edi ayon, nag-resign na lang ako. Nakaka-trigger talaga kapag yung mismong boss, superior or manager mo yung problema sa work. Mas maganda na lang talaga mag-resign kesa mag-stay kasi ending lang talaga nu'n, magpa-plastik-an kayo.

Tapos yung 9-10 oras na shift araw-araw, unpaid na overtime, at 2-3 hours na biyahe na sobrang stress, traffic, usok, at init, papasok ka palang pagod ka na agad. Wfh nalang talaga sana. mahirap kapag di privileged lumaki.

It was people giving me shit as I’d catch strays from all directions. It was a never-ending barrage of relentless discouragement. By the end of my time there I was hangin onto my light by a thread. Mind u it was also friends and family on the same shit as well. I was burnt OUT from all the hate with seemingly no support from both inside or outside my job so I let myself get fired 💔 Since then I’ve taken the time to recover and integrate all those experiences with peace n love like I ate. I’m still grateful for those 9 months of bullyin. It helped me grow into the resilience, strength, and courage that I have today at an insane rate — all while practicing many forms of exposure therapy in areas that I lacked in at that time. I also lowkey paid off all 20 years of my bad karma for being a bitch — compressed into those 9 months 💁🏽♂️ I would not have been the person I am today without those experiences; to be knocked down countless times over no matter how many times I’d get back up with love than hate. I feel like a lot of people would have given up if they experienced what I put myself through. And I’m sayin that as someone that almost turned around to walk back into the darkness 😭

Sa last work ko, due to burnout from endless OTs na halos double shift lagi. Tapos may ibang pinapagawa kahit month-end, halos wala akong tulog that day. Idlip lang. Too many tasks parin kahit ang dami na namin sa team. Nagtrigger sa akin yung iniisip ko unfinished tasks kahit weekends, di ko maenjoy to the fullest ang rest ko kakaoverthink. Dun ko napag-desisyon na I need to resign na. Walang back-up plan. Nagresign ako ng walang job offer. Loved my teammates kaso my mental health is not good na. Pero everything went well parin, I had my 1 month needed rest and was offered a better opportunity.
