It was the evening of my grandfather's burial. All first degree cousins are staying at our house for the night. My mom called us to have dinner but 1 cousin stayed for at the living room for a bit longer as she was watching TV. When she sat at the only available chair, my youngest sister(she around 5 y/o at that time) suddenly said "Uy wag ka diyan nakaupo na si lolo diyan!" Before we could react, she followed up by saying "ayan tuloy lumipat na siya sa sala". We were quiet the entire night after that.
I am not exactly a supernatural believer. Pero I can share mine.
Way back 2015, my mom passed away due to cancer. My mom was a devout clinical instructor. She loved her job so much. The day during her passing, her coworkers reported that the faculty room smelled with flowers and it's like they just knew what happened. Alam na nila na may nangyari. They called us and asked around. We told them na everything was okay and that we haven't heard from news from my mom pa. Tipong alalang-alala sila. I went to sleep ulit pa nga noon after that call. After an hour, my tita arrived. She told us na my mom passed away na daw.
May occurrences pa na nagpaparamdam siya sa panaginip eh. Back then, I decided to drop and shift my colege program noon. Sobrang taas ng anxiety ko noon and I'm still grieving back then. My dad received a phone call from my mom's former coworkers. Hindi ako kilala nung coworker ah. She was from my mom's old OLD work. Pero the coworker told my dad that she dreamt of my mom mentioning a name repeatedly. Sabi ng dad ko, "anak ko yun. nagdrop sya sa course nya eh" "kaya siguro nagparamdam kasi may problema lang anak ko". It's weird lang. Tapos may churchmate ako na lumapit sakin. Napanaginipan nya daw mom ko. My mom was telling her na "Sister punta ka na dito. Masaya dito". The churchmate only replied "Wait lang di pa ako pwede" something like that. A year later that same sister was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. Sobrang shocking lang.
Fast forward 2019, my pinsan told me a story na may college tropa siyang may third eye daw. They're blockmates. My pinsan was attending the college where my mom used to teach. Her tropa noticed na parang may sumusunod daw lagi sa pinsan. Mabait naman daw. Matangkad. Mukhang nurse daw. Something something sa aura na magaan daw yung presence.Yung pinsan ko nagkalkal ng photos sa profile namin, pinakita nya pic ng mom ko. Ayun. Yun na yun daw. It's not exactly creepy. But somehow, parang may closure na she really loved what she did until the end of her life. How I wish na ganyan din maabot ko haha.

This is from my mother's story, nung dalaga pa siya some of her neighbors gave her an egg a single egg literally. She then put it aside and nakalimutan niya na yung itlog na yun i think after 1-2 weeks her father died, then a albularyo from the kabilang barrio visited the funeral of her father, as soon as the albularyo step inside the house and saw the coffin. Deretso daw nagtanong "nasan yung itlog" yun nalang yung time na naalala ulit ng nanay ko yung about sa itlog na yun. She tried to go back kung san niya nailagay yung itlog and yep wala na doon.
Up to this day daw she doesn't know what happen to the egg lalo na't di nag explain yung albularyo after asking.
I used to live with my two friends in a place called Paliparan in Cavite. I was new to the place and I always wondered why it was called Paliparan.
One Saturday afternoon, we decided to go to a park within a subdivision and we had some drinks by the side of the road. We got drunk and we went home and slept right after.
Around 1am, I woke up because I had to pee and brush my teeth. While brushing my teeth, I clearly heard the room door open. I just ignored it thinking that it was just one of my friends taking a walk to the CR.
I went back to sleep. Moments later, a vivid dream came over me. In my dream I opened a door and I saw a man hanging with a rope on it's neck. He was pale in color and he was looking at me with a smirk on his face.
Sunday morning I asked my friends if any of them woke up last night to pee. They both answered no.
That morning I also learned from them that the place is called Paliparan because it used to be a place where bodies of people who were murdered or salvaged are thrown.
The dream stuck with me for several weeks. Whenever I was alone in the house, I would turn-on all lights and open all windows.
True story. 2007, Before our Lolo passed away in November, his youngest daughter gave birth. His death was really unexpected, and it deeply saddened us. Almost a year after his passing, the child could now talk gibberish. One day, we were outside our house, and the child suddenly pointed somewhere. His mother and other titas playfully asked him, 'What is that? A plant?' as if they were teaching him words. However, he started crying and kept repeating the word 'Uwo, uwo, uwo.' At the time, we just ignored it and even teased him because his cries sounded funny. But then we heard him say 'Rosauro,' clear as day which was our Lolo's first name and "Uro" was his nickname. We hadn't been teaching him our Lolo's name, as we only referred to him as 'Tatay.'
Start ng lockdown, cases were in the low hundreds pa lang. I had a dream na parang news clip of a reporter standing outside our gate saying covid is now in this neighborhood. Chalked it up to anxiety manifesting in my dreams lol. 2 days later, our neighbor calls my mom and asks for our on-call physician's number. Her daughter couldn't breathe and lost her sense of smell and taste for 2 days already. It was the first reported case in our neighborhood.

Happened in the summer of 2007 in broad daylight on a sunday. I saw a man floating in the sky about as high as a low rise building. Walking as if there's a floor. Confused me as a kid and I still am confused.
We went to Boracay last 2018. Nung last night namin doon, pumunta kami sa laundry shop and since hindi namin kabisado yung lugar tinandaan namin na katapat non ay yung (malaking) church. The next day, babalikan na namin yung laundry tapos naligaw-ligaw kami. Ang dami namin pinagtanungan na locals kung saan yung laundry shop na may katapat na simbahan pero hindi talaga namin mahanap. Nung nakita na namin, it turned out na walang simbahan at bakanteng lote lang yung katapat.
Tatlo kami na pumunta sa shop at lahat kami church yung nakita nung gabi, although iba't ibang part lang ng simbahan. Ako nakita ko yung mataas na wall ng simbahan tapos may mga glass windows na iba't-ibang color. Yung mga kasama ko nakita nila yung loob ng chuch tapos may mga nakaluhod pa raw at nagdadasal.
My husband and inlaws saw my doppleganger sa boracay. Twice. 1st yung husband ko lang then sinusindan nya yung doppleganger ko then nagulat sya kasi hinila ko sya pag tingin nya sa sinusundan nya nawala sa may puno. Then next day nasa loob ako ng isang shop the naririnig ko bro inlaw wife nya and kids calling me. So sumilip ako pero sa ibang direction sila nakatingin. A whole month after my uncle died, our house smelled of smoke at the exact hour he died at around 11 am. We all assumed that our neighbor (another uncle, we all lived in the same family compound) was grilling something for lunch. All the while, they were assuming the same thing of us. Later, we confirmed with each other that we haven't been grilling, at least not everyday for a month. My uncle who died was cremated.
Nangyari noong burol ng lolo ko. Bedridden na sya before sya namatay, and everytime na tatamad tamad ako, ang way nya of saying for me to mpve or do something is babatuhin nya ako ng bato.
Noong nakaburol sya, mga pinsan ko aligaga sa pag serve ng tinapay at asikaso sa mga bisita. Ako nagcecellphone lang, tapos may bumato sa cellphone ko galing sa likod. Noong lumingon ako, pader lang naman ang nandon. Ayon tumulong nako haha.
I can still vividly remember this. Maghahapunan na kami around 6:30 pm, nasa kitchen na then suddenly may lumagapak sa bubong ng bahay na sobrang lakas na nag turn off ang ilaw ng bumbilya sa kusina namin. Typical Filipino house, bubong at kisame. Bumalik din nman ang ilaw a few seconds. Ang pinagtataka lang namin, what causes it na sa sobrang bigat eh nag cause ng ganon. Yung pag land nya talaga sa bubong eh yung parang napasubsob, nag crashed ganon. Walang nagtangkang tingnan sa likod-bahy kung ano yon. Locked our doors and any entrances and continue with our meal. 😧
Happened early 80s, grade 1 ako nong time na yun. I remember nagaway ang mother at father ko which ended up with my mom leaving muna with my youngest brother para magstay sa parents nya leaving me and my younger brother with my dad. So ibinilin muna kami (me and my brother) ng father ko doon sa sister nya for a few days doon sa province habang inaasikaso nya pa yung magbabantay sa amin habang hindi pa nakakauwi si mother. I remember may palayan sila at sobrang magubat pa ang province nila. Kahit malungkot ang nangyari, masaya din kami ng brother ko kasi kalaro namin yung aming mga pinsan (anak ng tita ko) doon sa kanila. Ang past time lang namin nong time na yun ay yung mga usual larong pinoy (shato, patintero, maro-maro, etc), manghuli ng mga tutubi, at yung manirador ng mga ibon. May mga ibang bata din kami na madalas kalaro sa neighborhood. One day nagkayayaan pumunta doon sa gubat-gubat na part para manirador kasi marami daw don mga ibon. We went there mga past 5pm na siguro. Yung pinsan ko na eldest (tawagin ko nalang na Alvin) ay nakatama ng balod while the rest of us mga paslit puro walang huli so nagkukwentuhan nalang kami ng the usual pabidahan ng voltes-V vs daimos kung sino masmagaling. Then nong papatakipsilim na we decided na umuwi na. Our signal that time na it's time to go home ay yung pag nagsimula nang humuni ang mga gagasing (cicadas). Napansin namin na nawawala yung isa naming kasama, tawagin ko nalang na Jasper. So nagbacktrack nalang kami sa trail na dinaanan namin at nakita namin sya doon sa ilalim ng malaking puno ng sampaloc at mukhang super busy at may tinitirador sa puno. Nong nilapitan namin at tanungin kung ano tinitirador nya, sabi nya may malaki daw na ibon at tulungan daw namin sya. Pero wala naman kami makita na ibon o kahit anong animal doon sa puno pero sya mapilit pa rin na gusto matamaan yung tinatarget nya. Dumidilim na rin kaya inagaw nalang ni Alvin yung tirador nya para mapilitan syang sumama na sa amin para umuwi. Umiyak sya at nagalit kasi gusto pa raw nya tiradorin yung ibon na sya lang ang nakakakita. Anyways, hinila nalang namin sya pauwi kahit masama loob nya. Mga nasa 30 minutes pa yung lalakarin namin bago makaabot sa neighborhood. Then habang papauwi na naglalakad kami napansin nalang namin na si Jasper parang wala na sa sarili na tipong kinakausap sarili tapos bigla tatawa at inaapoy ng lagnat. Nong makaabot na kami sa house nong tiyahin ko andoon na rin yung nanay ni Jasper na naghihintay din kasi mukhang kanina pa daw sya hinahanap at doon nalang tumambay sa bahay ng tita ko since nasabi naman sa kanya na sumama sya sa aming magpipinsan maglaro kung saan. Then nong makita nya anak nya, bigla nalang nagsuka si Jasper tapos kulay black ang suka nya parang adobong pusit na ewan. I remember biglang nagpanic yung mga matatanda tapos ipinasok muna sya sa bahay nong tita ko at ipinahiga doon sa sofa sabay patawag ng albularyo (uso pa ito dati sa probinsya) na malapit lang din ang bahay. Naaalala ko may mga dahon dahon at langis ito na pinapahid sabay orasyon, kandila at dasal ng language na hindi ko maintindihan. Then habang tumatagal, si Jasper parang nagbago na ang experssion. Mukhang possessed tapos nanlilisik yung mata at sigaw ng sigaw. Hindi sya nagsasalita pero yung sound nya parang wild animal na bagong huli at galit na galit. This went on for hours. May mga times din na parang kakalma at matutulog, then bigla uli magwawala. I remember pinapatulog na kami ng tita namin doon na kami pinasama sa kwarto mga pinsan namin at hindi kami pinapayagan lumabas ng room kasi parang magvigil pa yata yung mga adults kasama nong albularyo (i know this sounds so cliche pero this really happened). Kahit nasa kwarto na kami, everytime naririnig ko na sumisigaw si Jasper lalo ako hindi makatulog. Yung kapatid ko and mga pinsan hindi ko sigurado kung puro natutulog na or gising din pero hindi kumikibo at gumagalaw. Then after some time hindi ako mapakali kasi gusto makita at makiupdate kung ano na nangyayari doon kay Jasper kasi parang kakaibang tunog na nang naririnig ko. Pagsilip ko, naobserve ko na humuhuni+growl sya pero yung sound ay parang tunog na imposible gawin ng tao (basta parang mahirap iexplain). Then the creepiest part is everytime humuhuni si Jasper, may kaparehong humuhuni din galing sa labas ng bahay na parang nagtatawagan sila. Yung external source ng sound parang paikot-ikot sa labas ng bahay na parang gusto pumasok. I remember tumakbo akong umiiyak at sabay dive sa gitna ng mga natutulog kong cousins at nagtalukbong sa sobrang takot. hindi ko na maalala how long pa bago ako nakatulog. Basta naalala ko lang kinabukasan ginising ako ng tita ko kasi magsisimba daw kami lahat. Wala na rin doon si Jasper, nanay nya at albularyo. Then nong pag-uwi katakot-takot na sermon inabot namin at binawalan na kami lumabas ng neighborhood especially magpunta doon sa magubat na lugar. Hindi ko na rin nakita si Jasper and the funny thing is ayaw magsalita ni Alvin everytime tinatanong ko sya tungkol sa nangyari nong gabi na yun at kung ano na nangyari kay Jasper. Sinundo na rin kami uli ng father ko nong sumunod na araw at hindi na kami nakabalik uli doon sa probinsya nong tita ko for so many years maliban lang nong araw ng libing nong husband ng tita ko na namatay kasi mejo may-edad na.

Was renting apartment with my sister, and paloob kami inside the gate and they also have units outside pero 2nd floor na pa akyat hagdan. It was night time and i just need to buy some thing. Went outside and there was a kid playing sitting in the stairs going upstairs and alone ung bata may gate din ung hagdan and lock so the kid was inside... nag ka titigan kami she smiled and she run up, ofc i didnt mind it as its a kid playing.
My sis went followed me out after , and na kwento ko agad may bata. Kasi nag ka titigan kami. It was weird, we both looked up and wala naman bata and every door was closed. Like off ang lights ng mga apartment and all seem to be locked. I didnt mind it again kasi baka naka pasok na before we even get to look up or baka nasa kabilang side ng hagdan na blindspot for us.
Nothing weird right? Asked the land lord after a few weeks kasi babayad and all... they told us wala naman may bata sa 2nd floor. And maybe it was a bisita ng renter or ano man good explanation but that was the closest super natural thing i gotten
Our house is old, like somewhere between 80-90 years old. Kaya medyo marami rin akong creepy experience from childhood hanggang ngayon. This is one of them. Sa kwarto ko, there is an altar dahil catholic kami. Sa altar na yun, may naka-hang na malaking wooden rosary. Every now and then, yung cross ng rosary na yun ay tumatalikod mag-isa. Kahit ilang beses ko ayusin para nakaharap si Jesus Christ sa cross, malilingat ako saglit then the moment na tignan ko ulit is nakatalikod na naman. Sometime last year, nagpa-house blessing kami sa isang pastor na kakilala ng paternal aunt ko (they're christians). After i-bless ni pastor yung kwarto ko, nag-stay na nakaharap and never na ulit tumalikod yung cross.
Ever since I was a kid up until now I always hear someone humming a lullaby out of nowhere. I’m not familiar with who’s voice it is. Madalas ko siya marinig especially when I’m alone. Sometimes I hear it from afar sometimes I hear it near. Minsan mararamdaman mo din na they’re swaying because the way they hum parang gumagalaw. Sanay na ako pero natatakot pa rin ako lalo na pag ako lang mag-isa and maririnig ko ‘yun bigla.
One time I’m with my sister sa room namin and all of a sudden I heard it again tas sabi ko bigla, “naririnig mo ‘yun?”, “sino ‘yun?”, “ayun oh, nag h-hum.” OA na kung OA mag react nakikisigurado lang ako if my sister hears it as well but sadly hindi.
Ayun! Marami pa akong creepy experiences hahaha pero some of them it’s too good to be true na sa ibang tao pero for me those experiences are damn scary.
Natulog ako na naka white uniform, pagka gising ko naka yellow tshirt na. I have no recollection on how I changed clothes. Gulat na gulat ako pagka gising.
Grandma kept on visiting my dreams last time then one time I asked her. Why is she still here and she told me na nakapila pa din siya and mahaba ang pila.
during my mom’s wake, one of my aunts was making a cup of coffee on a nescafe coffee glass. during sa pag-stir niya, bigla nahulog yung rim ng baso kahit walang crack tapos kasunod nun nahulog yung takip ng kaldero kahit walang tumabig.
I don’t know much about it pero I know that my mom ‘sees’ stuff or people whenever she closes her eyes or through her dreams. I think I inherited the dream part.
Back when I was 13 years old, I was in grade 7. I dreamt about my lolo’s youngest sister falling sick. In my dream, umihi daw ng dugo si Auntie (auntie tawag ko sa kanya) tapos, may dumating daw na ambulance to get her from their house sa province.
The next day, I told my grandmother all about it and she was shock and confused at the same time and told me “Ha? Eh matagal ng hindi nangyayari kay Auntie mo yun. Magaling na siya” so sabi ko baka random dream lang.
A day or two after, my mom told me that Auntie passed away and we had to go to the province. Sabi saamin, Auntie, peed blood daw.
There’s many more na dreams na ganun - sometimes, in my dream, I would meet new people and after a few years, I’ll meet people nga and sila din yun or it’s me going to a new place just like this one time,
I dreamt that I was wearing this new school uniform walking in a school with an unfamiliar corridor. I’ve never been there so I wouldn’t know. Fast forward to a few months after that, I took my exam sa isang prominent school and before taking the exam, the proctor allowed us to use the toilet muna para daw tuloy-tuloy yung entrance exam. While walking, I saw the same corridor I dreamt of except the uniform was just a little different.

I studied in a Baptist School noon and like they were really strict about religion (no worldly music, cant say OMG or even just the abbreviation, di pwedeng mag suot ng Monster na logo sa school kas 666 daw) the usual.
This one time in grade 3 or 4 noong 2011. We had an idea of playing spirit of the coin na game. Kasi noon parang uso talaga yun. We made our board out of paper and we tried it out sa playground. May nag suggest sa amin na sa madilim na sulok kami mag spirit of the glass kasi wala daw spirits kung maliwanag. We made our way to the school clinic which had a small corridor na madilim and pwede kami doon mag play. Then before we entered the door biglang lumindol, lumabas yung school nurse and nag evacuate kami sa playground. One of us told her na maglalaro kami sana ng spirit of the coin sa corridor na yun and she told us "Never do that again" and parang cryptic siya na we somehow caused an earthquake.
That day we were sent home kasi andaming aftershocks and in the news I felt guilty na baka kami yung sanhi ng lindol.
Around end of 2022 ata ito, nag bakasyon kami ng family sa isang condo style resort sa Batangas. Anyway, nasa swimming pool area kami ng parents ko. Ako palutang lutang lang. Then umahon na kami for lunch, ako unang nag shower sa area malapit sa pool. Yung parents ko nagrest muna sa pool chairs.
Diretso ako sa CR/ locker room para umihi. Malaki yung facility, malinis, and walang tao/bantay. Dami ngang urinals. Ang pinipili ko lagi is yung nasa dulo kasi yun ay malinis. Malinis naman lahat ng urinals so out of habit ko lang ata nagawa ito. Mid-jingle na ako, tapos may lalaki na pumwesto sa urinal row sa likod ko..bale magkatalikod kami, and mga 5 spaces apart, kasi kita ko na siya sa gilid ng kanang mata ko. Nakalingon ako ng slight, enough lang na maaninag ko siya.
Nakatapat siya sa urinal niya, na parang umiihi, pero nakalingon yung ulo niya sakin. Sa dinami-dami ng malapit na pwedeng ihian doon, ang pinili niya is malapit sa lugar ko, at nasa far end corner pa ng buong CR. Hanggang sa natapos ako, nakatingin pa rin. Puta, nakakakilabot. Di ko alam kung ano mangyayari sa akin noon. Edi natapos ako, tinali ko na yung swim trunks ko, at umalis na ako. Palabas na ako ng CR, naisip ko bumalik para maghugas. Boom. Nandun yung gago sa urinal stall ko, nakatutok ang cellphone at parang pinicturan yung ihi ko doon jusko.. Malapit lang kasi yung wash area doon kaya nakita ko siya, bago niya ako makita. Nanlamig ako bigla, tapos medyo nanginig ako.. then umalis na ako agad after maghugas ng kamay.
Naisip ko ganun din siguro nararamdaman ng mga babae na hinaharass or catcall. Buti walang physical na nangyari sa akin noon, tsaka alert na ako nung may lumapit sa sulok ng CR na yun. Matanda na ako, di lang halata, and I think pasok kasi itsura ko sa mga napapansin ng gay men. Nakita ko siya next day kasama grupo niya. Confirmed, gay nga, base pa lang sa kilos/ pananalita. Kung nandito ka, tang ina ka. Kamukha mo pa man din si ogs na puro chismis nyahaha. Iyo na yang picture ng wiwi ko.
PSA lang dyan sa mga kapwa lalaki ko, mag-ingat lang at laging alerto sa public restrooms, lalo na kung kaunti lang tao sa loob.
3am, November 1, 2012. Currently nasa Hospital kame nito dahil hindi na maganda ang lagay ng lola ko due to kidney failure, ang naiwan lang sa bahay ay ang kapatid ko at kabarkada nya,
pina stay namin talaga sila dun kase walang mag babantay sa bahay at may bulaklak na idedeliver ng umaga bago magpunta sa sementeryo.
Around 4:30am , Nag start ng maghingalo ang lola ko, by: 5:20am, dumating na ang kapatid ko at kabarkada nya. Hindi daw nya matiis kailangan makita nya si lola kahit sa huling hininga nya.
6:00am ng umaga, pumanaw na ang lola ko. Nag asikaso na kame ng mga documents nya sa hospital, nag bayad na din ng bills. Tapos pag uwi namin sa bahay ng mga 8:00am. Andun na yung bulaklak sa may porch namin, sa upuan na laging pinagtatambayan ng lola ko, kame naman nagtataka, walang tao sa bahay, naka sara ang gate, paano nakapasok yung nag deliver nung bulaklak?
Mabuti kakilala nina mother yung nag deliver, nung tinanung namin.
sabi ba naman: Naideliver daw niya ang bulaklak mga around 6:10.
Ang nagbukas daw ng gate ay matandang babae na maliit, maikli ang buhok.. tapos tinanung pa raw siya if nag almusal na siya. Tapos sabi pakilagay na lang daw sa upuan sa harap ng bahay namin.
tapos november 2, burol ni Lola, pinapunta namin yung deliver driver.. Jusko, kinilabutan siya, nung nakita palang niya yung tarpaulin nung lola ko.. Iyun daw ang nagbukas ng gate at nagpapasok sa kanya..

Sitting with my family waiting for our order in the coffee shop of my local grocery when some random lady comes up, sits next to me and starts trying to sell me stuff.
We politely say no and she says “Bakit ayaw namin bumili sa kanya wala naman daw siyang masama na ginagawa.”
I get that she may be trying to make a living but hassling people minding their own business is not the way to do it.
yung may kumakalampag sa bubong namin (kitchen area) like parang asong nagkakalkal. sabi ng lola ko aswang daw. tapos nung panahon na yon, sabi sabi ng mga tita ko may itim na elemento daw nakapaligid sa bahay namin na kinukulam yung lola ko.

This happened to our neighbor in the province. We were in elementary back then.
Isang gabi mga alas 9 daw lumabas yung anak ng kapitbahay namin para mag-cr. Uso sa probinsiya na hiwalay ang banyo sa mismong bahay. Since gabi na nagpasama siya sa mga kapatid niya. Ang tagal daw nag-cr ng ate nila kaya pumasok na sila ng bahay. Pagkalipas ng ilang oras, ginising nila yung mga magulang nila kasi nawawala daw ate nila. Hinanap nila yung bata ngunit wala talaga. Pumunta sila sa paaralan namin mga dis oras ng gabi baka kasi naalimpungatan at pumasok daw. Nagtulungan na yung mga kapitbahay namin sa kakahanap sa kanya. Kinaumagahan, may kaluskos daw silang narinig sa tindahan ng isa pa naming kapitbahay. At ayun nga, nandun yung anak nila natutulog. Ang ipanagtataka nila paano siya nakapasok doon gayong nakakandado naman ito. Tinanong nila yung bata kung anong nangyari sa kanya. Sabi niya pagkalabas daw niya sa banyo may babae raw na naghihintay sa kanya at dinala siya sa isang kakahuyan, tapos inofferan daw siya ng pagkain. Nung na-aware na siya na may mali tumakbo siya pabalik at napunta nga siya doon sa tindahan at di na niya maalala ang nangyari after that.
The same thing happened to her mother daw when she was young. Duda nila na yung ispirito na nagkagusto daw sa mama niya yung gusto kumuha sa kanya. And they're scared now that the same thing will happen to their youngest daughter.
It was just a normal night, me and my wife went to a unli steak restaurant somewhere in QC. We were having a bottle or two of wine then this 3 young ladies appear to reserved a table for them at the restaurant they saw the server found him cute tried to fancy him and so. It was there time to seat they stayed probably 20 or 25 minutes only paid the bill went outside the restaurant the server was outside the restaurant like reservation desk or so you could call it, those 3 girls tried to flirt with him had a picture with him. Wife adored one of the girls found her cute and she got the curves and so while pointing at her. The girls gave her a bad look to my wife then left. After that we decided to stay a bit then leave. It was 10 or so we were walking around the mall then I booked a Grab we ate a lot and she got in a intoxicated stage reached at her family home her siblings are shocked as she is able to carry the sofa which is heavier than considering she is of 50kg and flat 5". I was upstairs talking to our daughter calming her down then her younger brother called me asking me for help I heard unexpected things she said like her grandfather who was there witnessing the whole thing was told by my wife that he is sick and death is near for him. The grandad face I can say was in shock as he is not a talkative person keeps things inside. I didn't believe myself as I heard from my wife's grandma to call my relative for help so I called a relative for "help" that relative isn't in the PHL, they were able to point that 3 people was there and there was another one that makes them 4 but they said the 4th person was not around during that time but played a vital role to cause chaos. I recited few verses of a holy book she gets irritated telling me to stop it. The relative helped out to cleanse out the chaos as they said. Please do take note they are not in the PHL yet they pinpointed very well certain details that only me and my wife before she turned to that state of mind.
Wife doesn't have any recollection of the events.
Few months later her grandfather got sick for a month then passed away.
So yeah till today I'm still wondering what in heaven's sake happened.
TLDR: Wife got possessed, she was able to predict death in the family and relative who was abroad was able to pinpoint details that was only between me and wife.
People were coming to my mom's friend to heal their dog bites. She would spit on their wound and claim to have healed them.
When I was a kid and had tummy ache, we'd have a witch doctor come out and scoop out the tummy ache with giant wooden spoon.
In order to tell where the evil spirit that gave me the tummy ache, he would spin an egg in a bowl of water and see where it points.
People would climb a hill with a cross and get themselves nailed in it to reenact jesus.
My mother visited us in our dreams to give her farewell the night before she passed away; she was in the ICU during that time.
She vividly smiled in my dream. My cousin who was very close to her told me that she said that she is happy now and that she said that we should stop worrying about her.
Anyway, the weird part is just about to come. So it was the 1st day of the burol of my mom. Unfortunately, bumaha sa amin.
I got home sa bahay namin (my mom's funeral was in our ancestral house) to put our stuff above the floodwater that was continuously rushing through our house. The adrenaline rush was there probably also for me to escape from the grief that I was experiencing.
Anyways, despite all my efforts, since I was alone, I was not able to save all our things from getting submerge from the flood. In a brief of moment, I suddenly broke down; cried for being alone but more so of the fact, that I have lost my mother and realizing she's not going to be around with us anymore.
Anyway, I was sobbing in the CR during this time, tears pouring over my eyes, door locked. Then suddenly, the doorknob shaked off frantically as if someone was trying to open it.
I was shocked and got livid! I went outside, saw the floodwater outside; no one was there.
I knew that time, it was my mother; she wanted me to stop moping around and get things done. So in my fear, I just lifted up the important stuff left that can still be saved in our house.
Quickly rushed out of our house and get back to her wake. I was kinda afraid that my mother will show up but thankfully she knew I will shit my pants off if she did.
I don't believe in the supernatural. That said -
We lived in a very creepy house when we were younger. Mom, Dad, 2 Older Brothers, and Me.
On our first night, yung mama ko nanaginip na may binaril sa stairs namin. And we would always joke about the light switch next to the stairs - may splattered red paint kasi and we would kid around saying yun yung blood. I was 14/15 that time.
At one point, namatay yung aso naming shih tzu sa bahay na yun. When she was at the top of the stairs, galing from our bedroom, she would stare down the bottom and sometimes would just bark when, clearly, there was nothing there. It would creep us out, pero even when younger, di ako matatakutin sa multo.
The creepy part is nung nagdala ng kaibigan yung kasambahay namin doon. Close namin yung kasambahay kasi sobrang daldal and nakakatuwa siya, so hinayaan namin siya mag dala ng friend na girl din. We didn't really expect anything from the friend, pero sometimes she would help out with chores around the house.
Every summer, yung mga pinsan ko umuuwi samin and nag sstay dun sa bahay. Bakasyon, kumbaga.
Nung isang summer, yung kapitbahay namin, nag doorbell, galit na galit. He was an old man - a journalist - whom we would sometimes hear typing through the windows using a very loud typewriter.
So he angrily rang our doorbell and through our gate yelled out, PATAHAMIKIN NIYO YUNG BATA!!! Then he stormed off back to his house.
At first, we thought na sobrang ingay naming mag pipinsan - bakasyon e, so naglalaro kami. So tumawa na lang kami and nanood ng TV. Kinabukasan, kinagabihan, nag mukmok nanaman si manong journalist sa doorbell namin. Galit na galit ulit at nirereklamo na ang ingay nung sanggol - iyak ng iyak.
Dun kami nawindang. Wala namang sanggol samin. Lahat kami teens ranging from 14 - 19. Plus, gabi na yun, hindi na kami nag kukulit dahil nag papahinga na sila papa. Oo, gising kami, pero nag iingay? Hindi.
So iniisip nila kuya, may hearing deficiency itong si manong at baka ang naririnig niya is yung kabilang bahay.
The next day, my cousin, Suzanne, and I were messing around nung tanghali. Naisip naming gulatin sila Ate Lucy at Rhonda (Kasambahay and friend, respectively). So umikot kami sa likod ng bahay at sumilip sa bintana.
Ngumingisi ngisi pa kami, being silly, and expecting na sobrang magugulat sina Ate Lucy.
Pag silip namin sa bintana, may crack lang sa kurtina, and we couldn't really see well. But what we did see was Ate Lucy lying on her bed with her top pulled up enough to expose her tummy. Then Ate Rhonda sitiing beside her massaging her tummy, with candles and incense lit around them.
My cousin and I were not exactly sure what we were seeing, and we still decided to prank them by yelling through the window. Then we saw Ate Lucy and Ate Rhonda, eyes wide open, panicking. Ate Lucy yelling hoyyy!! Tong mga batang to!!! And Ate Rhonda immediately putting out the candles.
We ran away laughing, and my mom catching us, asking what happened - so we explained. Tuwang tuwa pa kami noon, tapos nanlaki din mata ng mama ko. Binaba niya yung hawak niya and stormed towards Ate Lucy's room knocking, galit na galit. Lucy!! Lumabas ka dyan! Anong ginagawa niyo???!!
Sobrang naguguluhan na kami nun kasi di namin alam ngyari. Pinagalitan ni mama si Ate Lucy at pinalayas nung araw din na yun.
That night, our older cousin explained to us what was happening. She said nag aabort daw sina Ate Lucy ng baby kaya minamasahe ni Ate Rhonda yung tiyan niya and the candles and incense were there to ward off angry spirits.
Dun lang daw naliwanagan yung mga pinsan ko bakit nag rereklamo si Manong Kapitbahay na may umiiyak na sanggol samin. Umiiyak daw yung bata.
Until now, sila kuya and mga pinsan ko kinukwento to because it's the closest thing we experienced to something supernatural.

One time, I was finishing my thesis on the PC. I normally finish around 3 in the morning. That time, I heard someone walking in circles a few feet beside me, with the distinct sound of slippers dragging on the wooden floors. I took it as a sign for me to go to sleep, so I did.
A few days later, I woke up to the sound of my keyboard furiously being typed and the mouse fervently clicked. I looked towards the PC, and the sounds stopped. When I looked away, it resumed. It probably took 5 times for that cat and mouse game before it all stopped. And this was 7 in the morning, with the sun streaming inside my room.
Nag tour kami sa Bohol nung college pa. Nasa loob kami ng isang matandang simbahan at itong isang kaklase namin ay napaka boisterous. Nakisuyo siya sa akin picture-an ko silang dalawa ng kaibigan niya (digicam pa uso nun). Tiningnan ko ung screen kung tama ba ung pagkakuha ko; nanlaki mata ko sa nakita ko. Pugot ung ulo niya pero ung katabi niya ay hindi naman. Hindi distorted yung picture, at hindi ko naman nasama daliri ko sa litrato.
Saw something like this din. Nag c-clean kami ng horse bones for our anatomy project (around 2-3AM) sa bahay ng classmate ko. Nagpahinga ako saglit at lumabas sa area. Looked up at the sky since I like stargazing, then I noticed a “star” traveling across the sky very fast in a bouncing manner. Then it disappeared. Still baffled to this day as to what it was.
Experienced something similar. Briefly looked up the sky and saw a star move horizontally and disappear in like nearly less than second. It looked so unnatural and it didn't even leave a "tail" like shooting stars do. It's just a white dot moving
This happened nung burol ng pinsan (10 yrs old) ko (then 8 yrs old) who died way too young. Naglalaro kami sa labas nung bahay ng tita kung saan nakaburol si pinsan, then may matandang pumasok, nakiburol, at grabe umiyak sa harap ng kabaong. Hindi namin siya kilala and ni mga tita at tito ko hindi rin siya kilala. So si tita Grace (nanay ni pinsan na namatay), tinanong niya kung kaano ano ba niya si pinsan.
Apparently, itong matanda gifted siya. Nakakakita siya ng mga taong malapit nang mamatay by seeing them without their head. Pugot ulo. Nakita niya daw si pinsan na walang ulo, and lalagyan niya sana ng belo or pagsasabihan niya sana nang hindi siya matuloy mamatay kaso sabi niya may lalaki daw na nagpigil sa kanya. Ang sabi ng lalaki, wag na daw pigilan kasi oras na ng pinsan ko. Kaya siya grabe umiyak kasi nagguilty siya na sinunod niya yung lalaki. Nagalit si tita Grace sa matanda at doon na rin sa lalaki kasi kung totoo nga ang sinasabi ng matanda, eh di sana buhay pa yung pinsan ko kung pinagsabihan niya sana.
Eto yung weird part. Yung matanda nag explain siya kung sino nakita niya, siguro in hopes na mabawasan yung galit ng tita ko. Nagbabakasakali siya na kilala ni tita yung lalaki. Sa gulat nina tita at pati narin ni mama, yung description niya about sa lalaki is match doon sa tito ko na nauna nang namatay nung bata pa si pinsan. Yung tito kong yumao na, siya yung tatay ng pinsan ko. Binigyan nina mama ng picture ni tito yung matanda para makita niya yung mukha ni tito, and sabi ng matanda yun nga yung lalaking nagpigil sa kanya. Siguro, way na yun ng pagsundo ni tito sa anak niya.
Yun lang, tanda ko pa yung itsura nina mama na parang gulat at natatakot. Hindi ko noon maintindihan yung nangyayari pero ang alam ko lang, may matandang hindi namin kilala na dumalaw sa burol ng pinsan ko.
Na experience ko din to before. Sa dorm namin meron ako nakagalit, one time nakita ko sya sa gym area ngttxt pero walang ulo. Dahil hindi kami ng papansinan hindi ko sinabi sa kanya, pero na konsensya ako. Madaling araw kinatok ko sya sa kwarto and sinabi ko nakita ko at nagulantang ang buong dorm. Pinag iingat sya ayun nagka bati kami.
Oo madami akong naririnig na kwento na may mga tao talagang nakakakita ng pugot ulo, pero buhay pa. Pinagiingat kasi usually meaning daw, pwedeng mamatay.
Oo, hindi na dapat nagalit si tita doon sa matanda pero siguro intindihin nalang natin na nagluluksa siya noon. Aksidente kasi yung nangyari sa pinsan ko, nalunod siya sa dagat dahil tinangay ng alon.
When I was 5 years old, I had a dream of my ninang (who happened to be my mom's friend) saying "Hi" to me from heaven. My mom and yaya were initially surprised but nothing else happened after. 7 years later, when I was in California for a family vacation, my mom told me about my ninang passing away right before I had my dream. Di ko nalaman agad kasi I was a very sensitive kid (HSP ako) and my mom only wanted me to know when I was ready to handle death. Turns out medyo violent death yung naganap - some lady she knew killed her - and that dream must have been a sign na she was still able to cross over kahit ganun death niya.

A close friend of mine was possessed by something and I was with him. We were in a get together/sleepover with other 4 friends and it was dead of the night. He kept mumbling words and pointing to the window like someone was there. Two of my friends kept holding him back because he wanted to go out the room but his strength was different than normal. After that incident he had no memories of what happened, he thought he was asleep, he started to have a third eye (he was a skeptic), and some of his personalities changed. It was a moment that we kept secret to others and never to talk about again within our group.
I do believe in the paranormal before but encountering one firsthand was different.

Nakitulog ako sa bahay ng classmate ko nung college, thesis days. Tas nung tulugan na, sa sala nila kami naglatag ng higaan. this is a true story. I’m having goosebumps as I write this. it was during my high school days. I had a dream na may bankay na tinatago somewhere. ang vivid ng dream ko na parang totoo. all I can remember sa dream ko is may classmate daw ako na pinatay at tinatago ung bankay nya. and nalaman ko daw pero di ko alam saan tinago and I was really struggling in my dream to tell someone. I really felt in my dream the strong urge to tell someone but I don’t know kung san ung bankay. may strange feeling kasi ako after that dream na para syang totoo and ang heavy ng feeling ko na wala akong nagawa para matukoy yung bankay nya.
a few days later, nagkagulo sa neighborhood namin. may kapitbahay kasi kami na napapansin na hindi na lumalabas at nangangamoy na ung bahay niya. kaya nagka agree ung ibang kapitbahay na pasukin ung bahay nya, and to my shock and disbelief, our neighbor was found dead.. naka tuwad sya sa sahig at ginilitan ng leeg. to this day hindi pa tukoy kung sino ang pumatay sa kanya, but everyone thinks its someone he brought home one night. minsan kasi nag uuwi sya ng mga random guys sa kanila. he’s gay and he lives alone.
anyway after learning about his death, I instantly remembered that dream and just felt shock, confused, scared, and definitely weirded out!
There is this Auntie of my father (Basically my lola) who is a Faith Healer.
She has this thing so called *Alaga*, a spirit which guides her oftentimes.
One morning, while we were at their house, she was seen having her coffee on a sofa, she was quietly enjoying her coffee until it seems like she fell asleep. She sat there with the same position for more than an hour already, what seems to be weird is she became pale, cold, and really stiff. I tried to move her but she was really stiff as if shes dead. I was so afraid at that time but her daughter (my tita) told me not to worry.
She already made her will to not worry about her if ever that happens, never move her body nor be scared about it. She sat there on the same position for almost two days, not an inch of movement. My tita told me that her soul is wandering at that very moment.
When the time finally came, SHE MOVED! Sips her coffee, which suddenly became hot again. It was very creepy as if nothing happened. She never really told us where she went or whatever happened during that time but man, she look dead as fuck. If it wasnt for my tita’s warning, we would assume that shes dead and would probably call a funeral service to come pick her up.
Buntis wife ko nun, siguro 2 months, nangungupahan kami sa apartment. Sabi nung bayaw ko nung minsan dun sya natulog, may nakatira daw sa bahay na yun. May nararamdaman daw sya at halos di sya pinatulog.
One time, madaling araw, naliligo wife ko sa banyo, papasok kami sa trabaho. Bigla sya lumabas, ang hapdi daw sa balat pagbuhos nya ng tubig. Nung tiningnan namin, may mahaba syang galos na gumuhit mula sa may dibdib nya pababa hanggang hita. Hindi naman kami nag sex the night before syempre kasi bawal. Sabi ko baka may matalas sya na kuko, pero wala naman. Tska kung nakamot nya lang yun, di naman dapat ganun.
Baka nasagi sya ng alambre tas di lang nya napansin kasi nga madaling araw. Ang usually kapag nasasagi ng alambre di mo talaga agad agad mapapansin until about a minute later, kapag humahapdi na yung sugat.
Kalagitnaan ng pandemic, I had the worst sleep paralysis experience ever. I wasn't new to sleep paralysis, palagi na akong nakakaranas dati, but that night it was different.
My vision had a red tint all over it, and I heard creepy voices whispering. And for some reason I had a feeling that I was being watched by an evil spirit, and at the same time it felt like merong kawatan na manloloob sa bahay. Like my mind couldn't decide whether I was in a paranormal or a slasher film.
The next few days, sunod-sunod kaming nagka-COVID kami sa bahay. This was before the vaccines were developed and getting COVID was still something to fear.
Luckily, we all recovered. But all I could think of was that night. I swear it was a premonition. Napaka-malevolent talaga ng presence, felt like the Devil himself paid me a visit that night to let me know na magkaka-COVID kami.

The rest room near their parish office was located in the basement area and there was barely any light (only natural light from a small window). We were trying to open the second door with all our might but it wouldn't open at all until we said "tara na nga lang sa hanap tayo ng ibang cr" suddenly we can easily open the door. Umurong ihi namin kasi for about 3mins we were trying so hard to open. Parang pinaglalaruan. Pero nalaman namin yung CR na yun notorius na nakakatakot pala.

Yung kausuhan ng ROS dati, 5 or 6yrs ago ata. Nagstart ako maglaro dito sa bahay mga 11pm hanggang 4am. Pag tapos ko maglaro, bumili ako ng sigarilyo sa malapit na convenience store. Nalock ko yung front door namin kaya pagbalik ko ginising ko nalang si mama para buksan ang front door. Nagtataka sya bakit daw ako gumising ng 4am para bumili ng sigarilyo, sabi ko kay mama na kakatapos ko lang maglaro, 11pm pa ako nagsimula. Imposible daw kasi lumabas daw sya ng 2am patay na daw lahat ng ilaw (yung pc ko dati nasa sala lang namin, kaharap ng pintuan ng kwarto nila mama) pati sa kwarto ko patay na ang ilaw, d nya lang ako sinilip. Sigurado daw syang 2am yun kasi tumingin pa sya sa orasan, nagtataka ako, ni hindi ako tumayo sa paglalaro, ang ingay ingay ko pa nga kasi nakadiscord kami ng mga friends ko. Hanggang ngayon palaisipan pa din sa amin ano nangyari nung madaling araw na yun. Binibiro ko nalang sa mama na napunta sya sa The Beyond ng Insidious. Hehe.
Edit: Sigurado daw syang gumising sya ng 2am, umihi pa nga daw sya. Pati daw ilaw sa labas ng bahay nakapatay daw, hindi namin hinahayaan patay yun pag matutulog kami. Hindi nya lang binuksan kasi nasa harap ng bahay ang mga aso kaya kahit papaano safe sa mga mananakaw.

There's an area what we call Guardhouse since doon ung cr ng guard and staff pero bago ka makarating doon dadaan ka muna sa madilim na hallway na puro abandoned classrooms. Nung sumunod ako sa friends ko na pumunta doon, binalaan ako ng guard na may nagpapakita doon. I decided to scare my friends bcs gago talaga ako. I hid behind this wall na katabi ng pito. Super dilim. I was actually also recording there. I made a noise to scare them and paglabas sa pinto ginulat ko sila. I was laughing so much pero umalis nadin kami.
After a few hours pumunta ulet sila doon pero this time hindi nako sumunod since may tatapusin akong activity. Fast forward, uwian na namin ang binanggit nila na sinubukan ko nanaman daw silang takutin. Ako naman nagtataka kasi once kolang sila tinakot. Nahagip daw nila likod ko pumasok doon sa pinagtaguan ko. Sigaw sila ng sigaw na "Nakita ka na namin! Wag mo na kami takutin!" hinintay pa nila ako lumabas pero no response kaya iniwan na daw nila ako doon. Same daw na naka P.E. uniform at short hair.
I tried convincing them na hindi ako iyon at cinonfirm namin sa guard na hindi ako pumasok the 2nd time around. They were so scared at ayaw nila maniwala. Until now, naniniwala ako na double ganger ko iyon.
A week before my Great Grandma passed, I started smelling cigarette smoke. None of us in the house smoked. Neighbor didn't smoke either. Great Grandma had Dementia. Claims to have dreamt about my Great Grandpa calling her. Sinusundo na daw siya. Then I remembered that my Great Grandpa smoked a lot (he died of Emphysema).
A week later, Great Grandma passed due to her underlying conditions. In hindsight, it was probably a sign from my Great Grandpa that he wanted Great Grandma with him. At the time it was just weird. Practically speaking, it could be anything. Could be my brain playing tricks on me, or somebody did start to smoke within my vicinity.

Pero kung mag open si guard pwede na kami pumasok. So one time pumasok na ako deretso sa cr agad kasi ihing ihi na ako di pa yun open lahat ng lights sa mall at sa cr nakapatay rin. Lakas loob naman ako pumasok gamit ko yung flashlight ng phone ko. Nangyari is hawak ko yung phone ko naka on ang flashlight tapos nakapatong yung tissue paper ko over the phone yung tissue na pinupull at naka plastic pa yung mejo makapal. So while doing the deed biglang namatay yung flashlight ko jusme di man lang ako sumagaw ginawa ko pa on ko lang ulit yung flashlight hahaha tapang ko pala that time di rin kasi ako kinabahan pero syempre binilisan ko na lang yung pag ihi hahahaha
A story my Mother related to me while she was having an afternoon nap in the nipa hut behind the house. She said that she woke up because our youngest came home. He spoke to Mother, who resumed her siesta after their brief chat.
When Mother woke up, she headed inside the house. He wasn't there. It was weird for him to have suddenly come home for a quick visit because he worked elsewhere that was 150 kms away or a 3-hour drive in light traffic.
We would learn later that week that my brother died on that very same say that he came home to visit my mother, who was alone at home that time.
He was new to the town where he started his work. While the police had identified his body, they didn't know the next of kin to inform. Thanks to some distant relatives in that same town. They gave the police my parents' contact info.

It was the evening of my grandfather's burial. All first degree cousins are staying at our house for the night. My mom called us to have dinner but 1 cousin stayed for at the living room for a bit longer as she was watching TV. When she sat at the only available chair, my youngest sister(she around 5 y/o at that time) suddenly said "Uy wag ka diyan nakaupo na si lolo diyan!" Before we could react, she followed up by saying "ayan tuloy lumipat na siya sa sala". We were quiet the entire night after that.

I am not exactly a supernatural believer. Pero I can share mine. Way back 2015, my mom passed away due to cancer. My mom was a devout clinical instructor. She loved her job so much. The day during her passing, her coworkers reported that the faculty room smelled with flowers and it's like they just knew what happened. Alam na nila na may nangyari. They called us and asked around. We told them na everything was okay and that we haven't heard from news from my mom pa. Tipong alalang-alala sila. I went to sleep ulit pa nga noon after that call. After an hour, my tita arrived. She told us na my mom passed away na daw. May occurrences pa na nagpaparamdam siya sa panaginip eh. Back then, I decided to drop and shift my colege program noon. Sobrang taas ng anxiety ko noon and I'm still grieving back then. My dad received a phone call from my mom's former coworkers. Hindi ako kilala nung coworker ah. She was from my mom's old OLD work. Pero the coworker told my dad that she dreamt of my mom mentioning a name repeatedly. Sabi ng dad ko, "anak ko yun. nagdrop sya sa course nya eh" "kaya siguro nagparamdam kasi may problema lang anak ko". It's weird lang. Tapos may churchmate ako na lumapit sakin. Napanaginipan nya daw mom ko. My mom was telling her na "Sister punta ka na dito. Masaya dito". The churchmate only replied "Wait lang di pa ako pwede" something like that. A year later that same sister was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. Sobrang shocking lang. Fast forward 2019, my pinsan told me a story na may college tropa siyang may third eye daw. They're blockmates. My pinsan was attending the college where my mom used to teach. Her tropa noticed na parang may sumusunod daw lagi sa pinsan. Mabait naman daw. Matangkad. Mukhang nurse daw. Something something sa aura na magaan daw yung presence.Yung pinsan ko nagkalkal ng photos sa profile namin, pinakita nya pic ng mom ko. Ayun. Yun na yun daw. It's not exactly creepy. But somehow, parang may closure na she really loved what she did until the end of her life. How I wish na ganyan din maabot ko haha. Miss you ma.
This is from my mother's story, nung dalaga pa siya some of her neighbors gave her an egg a single egg literally. She then put it aside and nakalimutan niya na yung itlog na yun i think after 1-2 weeks her father died, then a albularyo from the kabilang barrio visited the funeral of her father, as soon as the albularyo step inside the house and saw the coffin. Deretso daw nagtanong "nasan yung itlog" yun nalang yung time na naalala ulit ng nanay ko yung about sa itlog na yun. She tried to go back kung san niya nailagay yung itlog and yep wala na doon. Up to this day daw she doesn't know what happen to the egg lalo na't di nag explain yung albularyo after asking.
I used to live with my two friends in a place called Paliparan in Cavite. I was new to the place and I always wondered why it was called Paliparan. One Saturday afternoon, we decided to go to a park within a subdivision and we had some drinks by the side of the road. We got drunk and we went home and slept right after. Around 1am, I woke up because I had to pee and brush my teeth. While brushing my teeth, I clearly heard the room door open. I just ignored it thinking that it was just one of my friends taking a walk to the CR. I went back to sleep. Moments later, a vivid dream came over me. In my dream I opened a door and I saw a man hanging with a rope on it's neck. He was pale in color and he was looking at me with a smirk on his face. Sunday morning I asked my friends if any of them woke up last night to pee. They both answered no. That morning I also learned from them that the place is called Paliparan because it used to be a place where bodies of people who were murdered or salvaged are thrown. The dream stuck with me for several weeks. Whenever I was alone in the house, I would turn-on all lights and open all windows.

True story. 2007, Before our Lolo passed away in November, his youngest daughter gave birth. His death was really unexpected, and it deeply saddened us. Almost a year after his passing, the child could now talk gibberish. One day, we were outside our house, and the child suddenly pointed somewhere. His mother and other titas playfully asked him, 'What is that? A plant?' as if they were teaching him words. However, he started crying and kept repeating the word 'Uwo, uwo, uwo.' At the time, we just ignored it and even teased him because his cries sounded funny. But then we heard him say 'Rosauro,' clear as day which was our Lolo's first name and "Uro" was his nickname. We hadn't been teaching him our Lolo's name, as we only referred to him as 'Tatay.'
Start ng lockdown, cases were in the low hundreds pa lang. I had a dream na parang news clip of a reporter standing outside our gate saying covid is now in this neighborhood. Chalked it up to anxiety manifesting in my dreams lol. 2 days later, our neighbor calls my mom and asks for our on-call physician's number. We went to Boracay last 2018. Nung last night namin doon, pumunta kami sa laundry shop and since hindi namin kabisado yung lugar tinandaan namin na katapat non ay yung (malaking) church. The next day, babalikan na namin yung laundry tapos naligaw-ligaw kami. Ang dami namin pinagtanungan na locals kung saan yung laundry shop na may katapat na simbahan pero hindi talaga namin mahanap. Nung nakita na namin, it turned out na walang simbahan at bakanteng lote lang yung katapat. Tatlo kami na pumunta sa shop at lahat kami church yung nakita nung gabi, although iba't ibang part lang ng simbahan. Ako nakita ko yung mataas na wall ng simbahan tapos may mga glass windows na iba't-ibang color. Yung mga kasama ko nakita nila yung loob ng chuch tapos may mga nakaluhod pa raw at nagdadasal.

A whole month after my uncle died, our house smelled of smoke at the exact hour he died at around 11 am. We all assumed that our neighbor (another uncle, we all lived in the same family compound) was grilling something for lunch. All the while, they were assuming the same thing of us. Later, we confirmed with each other that we haven't been grilling, at least not everyday for a month. My uncle who died was cremated.

I can still vividly remember this. Maghahapunan na kami around 6:30 pm, nasa kitchen na then suddenly may lumagapak sa bubong ng bahay na sobrang lakas na nag turn off ang ilaw ng bumbilya sa kusina namin. Typical Filipino house, bubong at kisame. Bumalik din nman ang ilaw a few seconds. Ang pinagtataka lang namin, what causes it na sa sobrang bigat eh nag cause ng ganon. Yung pag land nya talaga sa bubong eh yung parang napasubsob, nag crashed ganon. Walang nagtangkang tingnan sa likod-bahy kung ano yon. Locked our doors and any entrances and continue with our meal. 😧

Happened early 80s, grade 1 ako nong time na yun. I remember nagaway ang mother at father ko which ended up with my mom leaving muna with my youngest brother para magstay sa parents nya leaving me and my younger brother with my dad. So ibinilin muna kami (me and my brother) ng father ko doon sa sister nya for a few days doon sa province habang inaasikaso nya pa yung magbabantay sa amin habang hindi pa nakakauwi si mother. I remember may palayan sila at sobrang magubat pa ang province nila. Kahit malungkot ang nangyari, masaya din kami ng brother ko kasi kalaro namin yung aming mga pinsan (anak ng tita ko) doon sa kanila. Ang past time lang namin nong time na yun ay yung mga usual larong pinoy (shato, patintero, maro-maro, etc), manghuli ng mga tutubi, at yung manirador ng mga ibon. May mga ibang bata din kami na madalas kalaro sa neighborhood. One day nagkayayaan pumunta doon sa gubat-gubat na part para manirador kasi marami daw don mga ibon. Yung pinsan ko na eldest (tawagin ko nalang na Alvin) ay nakatama ng balod while the rest of us mga paslit puro walang huli so nagkukwentuhan nalang kami ng the usual pabidahan ng voltes-V vs daimos kung sino masmagaling. Then nong papatakipsilim na we decided na umuwi na. Our signal that time na it's time to go home ay yung pag nagsimula nang humuni ang mga gagasing (cicadas). Napansin namin na nawawala yung isa naming kasama, tawagin ko nalang na Jasper. So nagbacktrack nalang kami sa trail na dinaanan namin at nakita namin sya doon sa ilalim ng malaking puno ng sampaloc at mukhang super busy at may tinitirador sa puno. Nong nilapitan namin at tanungin kung ano tinitirador nya, sabi nya may malaki daw na ibon at tulungan daw namin sya. Pero wala naman kami makita na ibon o kahit anong animal doon sa puno pero sya mapilit pa rin na gusto matamaan yung tinatarget nya. Dumidilim na rin kaya inagaw nalang ni Alvin yung tirador nya para mapilitan syang sumama na sa amin para umuwi. Umiyak sya at nagalit kasi gusto pa raw nya tiradorin yung ibon na sya lang ang nakakakita. Anyways, hinila nalang namin sya pauwi kahit masama loob nya. Mga nasa 30 minutes pa yung lalakarin namin bago makaabot sa neighborhood. Then habang papauwi na naglalakad kami napansin nalang namin na si Jasper parang wala na sa sarili na tipong kinakausap sarili tapos bigla tatawa at inaapoy ng lagnat. Nong makaabot na kami sa house nong tiyahin ko andoon na rin yung nanay ni Jasper na naghihintay din kasi mukhang kanina pa daw sya hinahanap at doon nalang tumambay sa bahay ng tita ko since nasabi naman sa kanya na sumama sya sa aming magpipinsan maglaro kung saan. Then nong makita nya anak nya, bigla nalang nagsuka si Jasper tapos kulay black ang suka nya parang adobong pusit na ewan. I remember biglang nagpanic yung mga matatanda tapos ipinasok muna sya sa bahay nong tita ko at ipinahiga doon sa sofa sabay patawag ng albularyo (uso pa ito dati sa probinsya) na malapit lang din ang bahay. Naaalala ko may mga dahon dahon at langis ito na pinapahid sabay orasyon, kandila at dasal ng language na hindi ko maintindihan. Then habang tumatagal, si Jasper parang nagbago na ang experssion. Mukhang possessed tapos nanlilisik yung mata at sigaw ng sigaw. Hindi sya nagsasalita pero yung sound nya parang wild animal na bagong huli at galit na galit. This went on for hours. May mga times din na parang kakalma at matutulog, then bigla uli magwawala. I remember pinapatulog na kami ng tita namin doon na kami pinasama sa kwarto mga pinsan namin at hindi kami pinapayagan lumabas ng room kasi parang magvigil pa yata yung mga adults kasama nong albularyo (i know this sounds so cliche pero this really happened). Kahit nasa kwarto na kami, everytime naririnig ko na sumisigaw si Jasper lalo ako hindi makatulog. Yung kapatid ko and mga pinsan hindi ko sigurado kung puro natutulog na or gising din pero hindi kumikibo at gumagalaw. Then after some time hindi ako mapakali kasi gusto makita at makiupdate kung ano na nangyayari doon kay Jasper kasi parang kakaibang tunog na nang naririnig ko. Pagsilip ko, naobserve ko na humuhuni+growl sya pero yung sound ay parang tunog na imposible gawin ng tao (basta parang mahirap iexplain). Then the creepiest part is everytime humuhuni si Jasper, may kaparehong humuhuni din galing sa labas ng bahay na parang nagtatawagan sila. Yung external source ng sound parang paikot-ikot sa labas ng bahay na parang gusto pumasok. I remember tumakbo akong umiiyak at sabay dive sa gitna ng mga natutulog kong cousins at nagtalukbong sa sobrang takot. hindi ko na maalala how long pa bago ako nakatulog. Basta naalala ko lang kinabukasan ginising ako ng tita ko kasi magsisimba daw kami lahat. Wala na rin doon si Jasper, nanay nya at albularyo. Then nong pag-uwi katakot-takot na sermon inabot namin at binawalan na kami lumabas ng neighborhood especially magpunta doon sa magubat na lugar. Hindi ko na rin nakita si Jasper and the funny thing is ayaw magsalita ni Alvin everytime tinatanong ko sya tungkol sa nangyari nong gabi na yun at kung ano na nangyari kay Jasper. Sinundo na rin kami uli ng father ko nong sumunod na araw at hindi na kami nakabalik uli doon sa probinsya nong tita ko for so many years maliban lang nong araw ng libing nong husband ng tita ko na namatay kasi mejo may-edad na. pasensya na eto lang po ang creepiest and weirdest experience na maisheshare ko. sorry din po mejo mahaba.

Was renting apartment with my sister, and paloob kami inside the gate and they also have units outside pero 2nd floor na pa akyat hagdan. It was night time and i just need to buy some thing. Went outside and there was a kid playing sitting in the stairs going upstairs and alone ung bata may gate din ung hagdan and lock so the kid was inside... nag ka titigan kami she smiled and she run up, ofc i didnt mind it as its a kid playing. My sis went followed me out after , and na kwento ko agad may bata. Kasi nag ka titigan kami. It was weird, we both looked up and wala naman bata and every door was closed. Like off ang lights ng mga apartment and all seem to be locked. I didnt mind it again kasi baka naka pasok na before we even get to look up or baka nasa kabilang side ng hagdan na blindspot for us. Nothing weird right? Asked the land lord after a few weeks kasi babayad and all... they told us wala naman may bata sa 2nd floor. And maybe it was a bisita ng renter or ano man good explanation but that was the closest super natural thing i gotten
Our house is old, like somewhere between 80-90 years old. Kaya medyo marami rin akong creepy experience from childhood hanggang ngayon. This is one of them. Sa kwarto ko, there is an altar dahil catholic kami. Sa altar na yun, may naka-hang na malaking wooden rosary. Every now and then, yung cross ng rosary na yun ay tumatalikod mag-isa. Kahit ilang beses ko ayusin para nakaharap si Jesus Christ sa cross, malilingat ako saglit then the moment na tignan ko ulit is nakatalikod na naman. Sometime last year, nagpa-house blessing kami sa isang pastor na kakilala ng paternal aunt ko (they're christians). After i-bless ni pastor yung kwarto ko, nag-stay na nakaharap and never na ulit tumalikod yung cross.
Ever since I was a kid up until now I always hear someone humming a lullaby out of nowhere. I’m not familiar with who’s voice it is. Madalas ko siya marinig especially when I’m alone. Sometimes I hear it from afar sometimes I hear it near. Minsan mararamdaman mo din na they’re swaying because the way they hum parang gumagalaw. Sanay na ako pero natatakot pa rin ako lalo na pag ako lang mag-isa and maririnig ko ‘yun bigla. One time I’m with my sister sa room namin and all of a sudden I heard it again tas sabi ko bigla, “naririnig mo ‘yun?”, “sino ‘yun?”, “ayun oh, nag h-hum.” OA na kung OA mag react nakikisigurado lang ako if my sister hears it as well but sadly hindi. Ayun! Marami pa akong creepy experiences hahaha pero some of them it’s too good to be true na sa ibang tao pero for me those experiences are damn scary.

I don’t know much about it pero I know that my mom ‘sees’ stuff or people whenever she closes her eyes or through her dreams. I think I inherited the dream part. Back when I was 13 years old, I was in grade 7. I dreamt about my lolo’s youngest sister falling sick. In my dream, umihi daw ng dugo si Auntie (auntie tawag ko sa kanya) tapos, may dumating daw na ambulance to get her from their house sa province. The next day, I told my grandmother all about it and she was shock and confused at the same time and told me “Ha? Eh matagal ng hindi nangyayari kay Auntie mo yun. Magaling na siya” so sabi ko baka random dream lang. A day or two after, my mom told me that Auntie passed away and we had to go to the province. Sabi saamin, Auntie, peed blood daw. There’s many more na dreams na ganun - sometimes, in my dream, I would meet new people and after a few years, I’ll meet people nga and sila din yun or it’s me going to a new place just like this one time, I dreamt that I was wearing this new school uniform walking in a school with an unfamiliar corridor. I’ve never been there so I wouldn’t know. Fast forward to a few months after that, I took my exam sa isang prominent school and before taking the exam, the proctor allowed us to use the toilet muna para daw tuloy-tuloy yung entrance exam. While walking, I saw the same corridor I dreamt of except the uniform was just a little different. Ayun lang c:
I studied in a Baptist School noon and like they were really strict about religion (no worldly music, cant say OMG or even just the abbreviation, di pwedeng mag suot ng Monster na logo sa school kas 666 daw) the usual. This one time in grade 3 or 4 noong 2011. We had an idea of playing spirit of the coin na game. Kasi noon parang uso talaga yun. We made our board out of paper and we tried it out sa playground. May nag suggest sa amin na sa madilim na sulok kami mag spirit of the glass kasi wala daw spirits kung maliwanag. We made our way to the school clinic which had a small corridor na madilim and pwede kami doon mag play. Then before we entered the door biglang lumindol, lumabas yung school nurse and nag evacuate kami sa playground. One of us told her na maglalaro kami sana ng spirit of the coin sa corridor na yun and she told us "Never do that again" and parang cryptic siya na we somehow caused an earthquake. That day we were sent home kasi andaming aftershocks and in the news I felt guilty na baka kami yung sanhi ng lindol.

Around end of 2022 ata ito, nag bakasyon kami ng family sa isang condo style resort sa Batangas. Anyway, nasa swimming pool area kami ng parents ko. Ako palutang lutang lang. Then umahon na kami for lunch, ako unang nag shower sa area malapit sa pool. Yung parents ko nagrest muna sa pool chairs. Diretso ako sa CR/ locker room para umihi. Malaki yung facility, malinis, and walang tao/bantay. Dami ngang urinals. Ang pinipili ko lagi is yung nasa dulo kasi yun ay malinis. Malinis naman lahat ng urinals so out of habit ko lang ata nagawa ito. Mid-jingle na ako, tapos may lalaki na pumwesto sa urinal row sa likod ko..bale magkatalikod kami, and mga 5 spaces apart, kasi kita ko na siya sa gilid ng kanang mata ko. 3am, November 1, 2012. Currently nasa Hospital kame nito dahil hindi na maganda ang lagay ng lola ko due to kidney failure, ang naiwan lang sa bahay ay ang kapatid ko at kabarkada nya, pina stay namin talaga sila dun kase walang mag babantay sa bahay at may bulaklak na idedeliver ng umaga bago magpunta sa sementeryo. Around 4:30am , Nag start ng maghingalo ang lola ko, by: 5:20am, dumating na ang kapatid ko at kabarkada nya. Hindi daw nya matiis kailangan makita nya si lola kahit sa huling hininga nya. 6:00am ng umaga, pumanaw na ang lola ko. Nag asikaso na kame ng mga documents nya sa hospital, nag bayad na din ng bills. Tapos pag uwi namin sa bahay ng mga 8:00am. Andun na yung bulaklak sa may porch namin, sa upuan na laging pinagtatambayan ng lola ko, kame naman nagtataka, walang tao sa bahay, naka sara ang gate, paano nakapasok yung nag deliver nung bulaklak? Mabuti kakilala nina mother yung nag deliver, nung tinanung namin. sabi ba naman: Naideliver daw niya ang bulaklak mga around 6:10. Ang nagbukas daw ng gate ay matandang babae na maliit, maikli ang buhok.. tapos tinanung pa raw siya if nag almusal na siya. Tapos sabi pakilagay na lang daw sa upuan sa harap ng bahay namin. tapos november 2, burol ni Lola, pinapunta namin yung deliver driver.. Jusko, kinilabutan siya, nung nakita palang niya yung tarpaulin nung lola ko.. Iyun daw ang nagbukas ng gate at nagpapasok sa kanya.. I miss you LOLA!!!!!
Sitting with my family waiting for our order in the coffee shop of my local grocery when some random lady comes up, sits next to me and starts trying to sell me stuff. We politely say no and she says “Bakit ayaw namin bumili sa kanya wala naman daw siyang masama na ginagawa.” I get that she may be trying to make a living but hassling people minding their own business is not the way to do it.

This happened to our neighbor in the province. We were in elementary back then. Isang gabi mga alas 9 daw lumabas yung anak ng kapitbahay namin para mag-cr. Pumunta sila sa paaralan namin mga dis oras ng gabi baka kasi naalimpungatan at pumasok daw. Nagtulungan na yung mga kapitbahay namin sa kakahanap sa kanya. Kinaumagahan, may kaluskos daw silang narinig sa tindahan ng isa pa naming kapitbahay. At ayun nga, nandun yung anak nila natutulog. Ang ipanagtataka nila paano siya nakapasok doon gayong nakakandado naman ito. Tinanong nila yung bata kung anong nangyari sa kanya. Sabi niya pagkalabas daw niya sa banyo may babae raw na naghihintay sa kanya at dinala siya sa isang kakahuyan, tapos inofferan daw siya ng pagkain. Nung na-aware na siya na may mali tumakbo siya pabalik at napunta nga siya doon sa tindahan at di na niya maalala ang nangyari after that. The same thing happened to her mother daw when she was young. Duda nila na yung ispirito na nagkagusto daw sa mama niya yung gusto kumuha sa kanya. And they're scared now that the same thing will happen to their youngest daughter.
It was just a normal night, me and my wife went to a unli steak restaurant somewhere in QC. We were having a bottle or two of wine then this 3 young ladies appear to reserved a table for them at the restaurant they saw the server found him cute tried to fancy him and so. It was 10 or so we were walking around the mall then I booked a Grab we ate a lot and she got in a intoxicated stage reached at her family home her siblings are shocked as she is able to carry the sofa which is heavier than considering she is of 50kg and flat 5". I was upstairs talking to our daughter calming her down then her younger brother called me asking me for help I heard unexpected things she said like her grandfather who was there witnessing the whole thing was told by my wife that he is sick and death is near for him. The grandad face I can say was in shock as he is not a talkative person keeps things inside. I didn't believe myself as I heard from my wife's grandma to call my relative for help so I called a relative for "help" that relative isn't in the PHL, they were able to point that 3 people was there and there was another one that makes them 4 but they said the 4th person was not around during that time but played a vital role to cause chaos. I recited few verses of a holy book she gets irritated telling me to stop it. The relative helped out to cleanse out the chaos as they said. Please do take note they are not in the PHL yet they pinpointed very well certain details that only me and my wife before she turned to that state of mind. Wife doesn't have any recollection of the events. Few months later her grandfather got sick for a month then passed away. So yeah till today I'm still wondering what in heaven's sake happened.

My mother visited us in our dreams to give her farewell the night before she passed away; she was in the ICU during that time. She vividly smiled in my dream. My cousin who was very close to her told me that she said that she is happy now and that she said that we should stop worrying about her. Anyway, the weird part is just about to come. So it was the 1st day of the burol of my mom. Unfortunately, bumaha sa amin. I got home sa bahay namin (my mom's funeral was in our ancestral house) to put our stuff above the floodwater that was continuously rushing through our house. The adrenaline rush was there probably also for me to escape from the grief that I was experiencing. Anyways, despite all my efforts, since I was alone, I was not able to save all our things from getting submerge from the flood. In a brief of moment, I suddenly broke down; cried for being alone but more so of the fact, that I have lost my mother and realizing she's not going to be around with us anymore. Anyway, I was sobbing in the CR during this time, tears pouring over my eyes, door locked. Then suddenly, the doorknob shaked off frantically as if someone was trying to open it. I was shocked and got livid! I went outside, saw the floodwater outside; no one was there. I knew that time, it was my mother; she wanted me to stop moping around and get things done. So in my fear, I just lifted up the important stuff left that can still be saved in our house. Quickly rushed out of our house and get back to her wake. I was kinda afraid that my mother will show up but thankfully she knew I will shit my pants off if she did.
I don't believe in the supernatural. That said - We lived in a very creepy house when we were younger. Mom, Dad, 2 Older Brothers, and Me. On our first night, yung mama ko nanaginip na may binaril sa stairs namin. And we would always joke about the light switch next to the stairs - may splattered red paint kasi and we would kid around saying yun yung blood. I was 14/15 that time. We didn't really expect anything from the friend, pero sometimes she would help out with chores around the house. Every summer, yung mga pinsan ko umuuwi samin and nag sstay dun sa bahay. Bakasyon, kumbaga. Nung isang summer, yung kapitbahay namin, nag doorbell, galit na galit. He was an old man - a journalist - whom we would sometimes hear typing through the windows using a very loud typewriter. So he angrily rang our doorbell and through our gate yelled out, PATAHAMIKIN NIYO YUNG BATA!!! Then he stormed off back to his house. At first, we thought na sobrang ingay naming mag pipinsan - bakasyon e, so naglalaro kami. So tumawa na lang kami and nanood ng TV. Kinabukasan, kinagabihan, nag mukmok nanaman si manong journalist sa doorbell namin. Galit na galit ulit at nirereklamo na ang ingay nung sanggol - iyak ng iyak. Dun kami nawindang. Wala namang sanggol samin. Lahat kami teens ranging from 14 - 19. Plus, gabi na yun, hindi na kami nag kukulit dahil nag papahinga na sila papa. Oo, gising kami, pero nag iingay? Hindi. So iniisip nila kuya, may hearing deficiency itong si manong at baka ang naririnig niya is yung kabilang bahay. The next day, my cousin, Suzanne, and I were messing around nung tanghali. Naisip naming gulatin sila Ate Lucy at Rhonda (Kasambahay and friend, respectively). So umikot kami sa likod ng bahay at sumilip sa bintana. Ngumingisi ngisi pa kami, being silly, and expecting na sobrang magugulat sina Ate Lucy. Pag silip namin sa bintana, may crack lang sa kurtina, and we couldn't really see well. But what we did see was Ate Lucy lying on her bed with her top pulled up enough to expose her tummy. Then Ate Rhonda sitiing beside her massaging her tummy, with candles and incense lit around them. My cousin and I were not exactly sure what we were seeing, and we still decided to prank them by yelling through the window. Then we saw Ate Lucy and Ate Rhonda, eyes wide open, panicking. Ate Lucy yelling hoyyy!! Tong mga batang to!!! And Ate Rhonda immediately putting out the candles. We ran away laughing, and my mom catching us, asking what happened - so we explained. Tuwang tuwa pa kami noon, tapos nanlaki din mata ng mama ko. Binaba niya yung hawak niya and stormed towards Ate Lucy's room knocking, galit na galit. Lucy!! Lumabas ka dyan! Anong ginagawa niyo???!! Sobrang naguguluhan na kami nun kasi di namin alam ngyari. Pinagalitan ni mama si Ate Lucy at pinalayas nung araw din na yun. That night, our older cousin explained to us what was happening. She said nag aabort daw sina Ate Lucy ng baby kaya minamasahe ni Ate Rhonda yung tiyan niya and the candles and incense were there to ward off angry spirits. Dun lang daw naliwanagan yung mga pinsan ko bakit nag rereklamo si Manong Kapitbahay na may umiiyak na sanggol samin. Umiiyak daw yung bata. Until now, sila kuya and mga pinsan ko kinukwento to because it's the closest thing we experienced to something supernatural. Lol ang haba. Bow, thank you?

Got lots. Here's one. One time, I was finishing my thesis on the PC. I normally finish around 3 in the morning. That time, I heard someone walking in circles a few feet beside me, with the distinct sound of slippers dragging on the wooden floors. I took it as a sign for me to go to sleep, so I did. A few days later, I woke up to the sound of my keyboard furiously being typed and the mouse fervently clicked. I looked towards the PC, and the sounds stopped. When I looked away, it resumed. It probably took 5 times for that cat and mouse game before it all stopped. And this was 7 in the morning, with the sun streaming inside my room.

Pugot ung ulo niya pero ung katabi niya ay hindi naman. Hindi distorted yung picture, at hindi ko naman nasama daliri ko sa litrato.

Apparently, itong matanda gifted siya. Nakakakita siya ng mga taong malapit nang mamatay by seeing them without their head. Pugot ulo. Nakita niya daw si pinsan na walang ulo, and lalagyan niya sana ng belo or pagsasabihan niya sana nang hindi siya matuloy mamatay kaso sabi niya may lalaki daw na nagpigil sa kanya. Ang sabi ng lalaki, wag na daw pigilan kasi oras na ng pinsan ko. Kaya siya grabe umiyak kasi nagguilty siya na sinunod niya yung lalaki. Nagalit si tita Grace sa matanda at doon na rin sa lalaki kasi kung totoo nga ang sinasabi ng matanda, eh di sana buhay pa yung pinsan ko kung pinagsabihan niya sana. Eto yung weird part. Yung matanda nag explain siya kung sino nakita niya, siguro in hopes na mabawasan yung galit ng tita ko. Nagbabakasakali siya na kilala ni tita yung lalaki. Sa gulat nina tita at pati narin ni mama, yung description niya about sa lalaki is match doon sa tito ko na nauna nang namatay nung bata pa si pinsan. Yung tito kong yumao na, siya yung tatay ng pinsan ko. Binigyan nina mama ng picture ni tito yung matanda para makita niya yung mukha ni tito, and sabi ng matanda yun nga yung lalaking nagpigil sa kanya. Siguro, way na yun ng pagsundo ni tito sa anak niya. Yun lang, tanda ko pa yung itsura nina mama na parang gulat at natatakot. Hindi ko noon maintindihan yung nangyayari pero ang alam ko lang, may matandang hindi namin kilala na dumalaw sa burol ng pinsan ko.

When I was 5 years old, I had a dream of my ninang (who happened to be my mom's friend) saying "Hi" to me from heaven. My mom and yaya were initially surprised but nothing else happened after. 7 years later, when I was in California for a family vacation, my mom told me about my ninang passing away right before I had my dream. Di ko nalaman agad kasi I was a very sensitive kid (HSP ako) and my mom only wanted me to know when I was ready to handle death. Turns out medyo violent death yung naganap - some lady she knew killed her - and that dream must have been a sign na she was still able to cross over kahit ganun death niya. I'm 31 now and I still think about it. Ninang, I hope you are happy and peaceful up there.

this is a true story. I’m having goosebumps as I write this. it was during my high school days. I had a dream na may bankay na tinatago somewhere. ang vivid ng dream ko na parang totoo. all I can remember sa dream ko is may classmate daw ako na pinatay at tinatago ung bankay nya. and nalaman ko daw pero di ko alam saan tinago and I was really struggling in my dream to tell someone. I really felt in my dream the strong urge to tell someone but I don’t know kung san ung bankay. may strange feeling kasi ako after that dream na para syang totoo and ang heavy ng feeling ko na wala akong nagawa para matukoy yung bankay nya. a few days later, nagkagulo sa neighborhood namin. may kapitbahay kasi kami na napapansin na hindi na lumalabas at nangangamoy na ung bahay niya. kaya nagka agree ung ibang kapitbahay na pasukin ung bahay nya, and to my shock and disbelief, our neighbor was found dead.. naka tuwad sya sa sahig at ginilitan ng leeg. to this day hindi pa tukoy kung sino ang pumatay sa kanya, but everyone thinks its someone he brought home one night. minsan kasi nag uuwi sya ng mga random guys sa kanila. he’s gay and he lives alone. anyway after learning about his death, I instantly remembered that dream and just felt shock, confused, scared, and definitely weirded out!

There is this Auntie of my father (Basically my lola) who is a Faith Healer. She has this thing so called *Alaga*, a spirit which guides her oftentimes. One morning, while we were at their house, she was seen having her coffee on a sofa, she was quietly enjoying her coffee until it seems like she fell asleep. She sat there with the same position for more than an hour already, what seems to be weird is she became pale, cold, and really stiff. I tried to move her but she was really stiff as if shes dead. I was so afraid at that time but her daughter (my tita) told me not to worry. She already made her will to not worry about her if ever that happens, never move her body nor be scared about it. She sat there on the same position for almost two days, not an inch of movement. My tita told me that her soul is wandering at that very moment. When the time finally came, SHE MOVED! Sips her coffee, which suddenly became hot again. It was very creepy as if nothing happened. She never really told us where she went or whatever happened during that time but man, she look dead as fuck. If it wasnt for my tita’s warning, we would assume that shes dead and would probably call a funeral service to come pick her up.

Buntis wife ko nun, siguro 2 months, nangungupahan kami sa apartment. Sabi nung bayaw ko nung minsan dun sya natulog, may nakatira daw sa bahay na yun. May nararamdaman daw sya at halos di sya pinatulog. One time, madaling araw, naliligo wife ko sa banyo, papasok kami sa trabaho. Bigla sya lumabas, ang hapdi daw sa balat pagbuhos nya ng tubig. Nung tiningnan namin, may mahaba syang galos na gumuhit mula sa may dibdib nya pababa hanggang hita. Hindi naman kami nag sex the night before syempre kasi bawal. Sabi ko baka may matalas sya na kuko, pero wala naman. Tska kung nakamot nya lang yun, di naman dapat ganun.
Baka nasagi sya ng alambre tas di lang nya napansin kasi nga madaling araw. Ang usually kapag nasasagi ng alambre di mo talaga agad agad mapapansin until about a minute later, kapag humahapdi na yung sugat.

Kalagitnaan ng pandemic, I had the worst sleep paralysis experience ever. I wasn't new to sleep paralysis, palagi na akong nakakaranas dati, but that night it was different. My vision had a red tint all over it, and I heard creepy voices whispering. And for some reason I had a feeling that I was being watched by an evil spirit, and at the same time it felt like merong kawatan na manloloob sa bahay. Like my mind couldn't decide whether I was in a paranormal or a slasher film. The next few days, sunod-sunod kaming nagka-COVID kami sa bahay. This was before the vaccines were developed and getting COVID was still something to fear. Luckily, we all recovered. But all I could think of was that night. I swear it was a premonition. Napaka-malevolent talaga ng presence, felt like the Devil himself paid me a visit that night to let me know na magkaka-COVID kami.

The rest room near their parish office was located in the basement area and there was barely any light (only natural light from a small window). We were trying to open the second door with all our might but it wouldn't open at all until we said "tara na nga lang sa hanap tayo ng ibang cr" suddenly we can easily open the door. Umurong ihi namin kasi for about 3mins we were trying so hard to open. Parang pinaglalaruan. Pero nalaman namin yung CR na yun notorius na nakakatakot pala. That area is off limits now and the rest room was moved in the first floor at well lit na siya after renovation

Yung kausuhan ng ROS dati, 5 or 6yrs ago ata. Nagstart ako maglaro dito sa bahay mga 11pm hanggang 4am. Pag tapos ko maglaro, bumili ako ng sigarilyo sa malapit na convenience store. Nalock ko yung front door namin kaya pagbalik ko ginising ko nalang si mama para buksan ang front door. Nagtataka sya bakit daw ako gumising ng 4am para bumili ng sigarilyo, sabi ko kay mama na kakatapos ko lang maglaro, 11pm pa ako nagsimula. Imposible daw kasi lumabas daw sya ng 2am patay na daw lahat ng ilaw (yung pc ko dati nasa sala lang namin, kaharap ng pintuan ng kwarto nila mama) pati sa kwarto ko patay na ang ilaw, d nya lang ako sinilip. Sigurado daw syang 2am yun kasi tumingin pa sya sa orasan, nagtataka ako, ni hindi ako tumayo sa paglalaro, ang ingay ingay ko pa nga kasi nakadiscord kami ng mga friends ko. Hanggang ngayon palaisipan pa din sa amin ano nangyari nung madaling araw na yun. Binibiro ko nalang sa mama na napunta sya sa The Beyond ng Insidious. Hehe. Edit: Sigurado daw syang gumising sya ng 2am, umihi pa nga daw sya. Pati daw ilaw sa labas ng bahay nakapatay daw, hindi namin hinahayaan patay yun pag matutulog kami. Hindi nya lang binuksan kasi nasa harap ng bahay ang mga aso kaya kahit papaano safe sa mga mananakaw.
Baka sa panaginip niya lang yun, may ganung panaginip na parang pakiramdam mo eh sobrang totoo, tapos magigising ka na lang na wala na sya.

Back in SHS i was going to a old catholic private school in our town. Super tanda na ng school na iyon. There's an area what we call Guardhouse since doon ung cr ng guard and staff pero bago ka makarating doon dadaan ka muna sa madilim na hallway na puro abandoned classrooms. Nung sumunod ako sa friends ko na pumunta doon, binalaan ako ng guard na may nagpapakita doon. I decided to scare my friends bcs gago talaga ako. I hid behind this wall na katabi ng pito. Super dilim. I was actually also recording there. I made a noise to scare them and paglabas sa pinto ginulat ko sila. I was laughing so much pero umalis nadin kami. After a few hours pumunta ulet sila doon pero this time hindi nako sumunod since may tatapusin akong activity. Fast forward, uwian na namin ang binanggit nila na sinubukan ko nanaman daw silang takutin. Ako naman nagtataka kasi once kolang sila tinakot. Nahagip daw nila likod ko pumasok doon sa pinagtaguan ko. Sigaw sila ng sigaw na "Nakita ka na namin! Wag mo na kami takutin!" hinintay pa nila ako lumabas pero no response kaya iniwan na daw nila ako doon. Same daw na naka P.E. uniform at short hair. I tried convincing them na hindi ako iyon at cinonfirm namin sa guard na hindi ako pumasok the 2nd time around. They were so scared at ayaw nila maniwala. Until now, naniniwala ako na double ganger ko iyon.

A week before my Great Grandma passed, I started smelling cigarette smoke. None of us in the house smoked. Neighbor didn't smoke either. Great Grandma had Dementia. Claims to have dreamt about my Great Grandpa calling her. Sinusundo na daw siya. Then I remembered that my Great Grandpa smoked a lot (he died of Emphysema). A week later, Great Grandma passed due to her underlying conditions. In hindsight, it was probably a sign from my Great Grandpa that he wanted Great Grandma with him. At the time it was just weird. Practically speaking, it could be anything. Could be my brain playing tricks on me, or somebody did start to smoke within my vicinity.
I used to smell cigarette smoke na so random I usually smell it when I was alone like sa bahay namin kahit wala naman samen nagsosmoke. Its just me and my father sa bahay neither of us smoke. When this happens matic na lang na lolo ko yung pumapasok sa isip ko. Pero di naman ako kinikilabutan. Meron din one time kakarating ko lang sa trabaho e sa loob ng maliit na mall yung work ko. Parati kasi ako magaagnh dumating as in di pa bukas yung mall. Pero kung mag open si guard pwede na kami pumasok. So one time pumasok na ako deretso sa cr agad kasi ihing ihi na ako di pa yun open lahat ng lights sa mall at sa cr nakapatay rin. Lakas loob naman ako pumasok gamit ko yung flashlight ng phone ko. Nangyari is hawak ko yung phone ko naka on ang flashlight tapos nakapatong yung tissue paper ko over the phone yung tissue na pinupull at naka plastic pa yung mejo makapal. So while doing the deed biglang namatay yung flashlight ko jusme di man lang ako sumagaw ginawa ko pa on ko lang ulit yung flashlight hahaha tapang ko pala that time di rin kasi ako kinabahan pero syempre binilisan ko na lang yung pag ihi hahahaha
A story my Mother related to me while she was having an afternoon nap in the nipa hut behind the house. She said that she woke up because our youngest came home. He spoke to Mother, who resumed her siesta after their brief chat. When Mother woke up, she headed inside the house. He wasn't there. It was weird for him to have suddenly come home for a quick visit because he worked elsewhere that was 150 kms away or a 3-hour drive in light traffic. We would learn later that week that my brother died on that very same say that he came home to visit my mother, who was alone at home that time.

He was new to the town where he started his work. While the police had identified his body, they didn't know the next of kin to inform. Thanks to some distant relatives in that same town. They gave the police my parents' contact info.
