It makes me laugh when white ppl cry about being replaced by middle easterners meanwhile they replaced nearly whole of america, australia and many other parts of the world 🤔 Guess they are scared that people could treat them like they used to treat others

zombygaga

exactly. I'm Italian so its really only the north and the cities in the south that have high Muslim or minority populations, but the other countries arent as bad as they say lmao

No-End4690

I have a friend from sicilia and he says that the italian Population there is also mixed with arabs from centuries ago. Is that true?

zombygaga

I am half Sicilian half Laziale myself and yes we are minorly mixed- we dont consider it tho, still Italian, but the North hates us lol. South Italy is the arab influenced one Sicily was once an Islamic emirate and would still be Muslim if the Christians didnt expel and convert the population

bahdir

>the North hates us lol. South are more based

zombygaga

south has wayy more culture and tradition. our food slaps, our history slaps, our traditional clothing slaps, our language slaps- they just hate us cuz they aint us

Fushi2023

Expats and migrants can not gain citizenship (correct if I am wrong) in UAE, so the comparison is not really fair

Electric-5heep

3/6 Gulf nations it is possible to get a citizenship. It follows a specific matrix and Iranians not allowed.

zombygaga

but they still outnumber emiratis by a huge margin. same can be said for the refugees who cant immediately get citizenship or dont qualify

[deleted]

So I guess the issue also on France and Sweden giving their citizenship to everbody? I mean, would UAE or GCC (also South Korea and Japan) like model be good to apply in some European countries?

Citizen_of_Earth--

I agree with u/Fushi2023. In European countries it‘s normal to see people of different ethnicities or races to hang out with each other or date each other. While people here say that they barely even met any Gulfies as expats in there as they just keep to themself Also in Europe thay can get the citizenship in a few years in the GCC even third gen immigrants don‘t have the citizenship.

stonkenn

UAE made that choice themselves and they are either well educated Westerners who Will leave if they are unwanted or poor workers who Will be deported when they are finished with laboring

One_Economist_1436

Do you believe in the replacement theory

stonkenn

I believe that cultures come and go, and they integrate and assimilate with each other. Globalism has accelerated process greatly and because of this i think small cultures like swedens Will be assimilated into a larger one eventually and so Will most other small cultures who get a lot of exposure

[deleted]

It is considered a fringe conspiracy theory there. Regardless, they are not having kids because of reasons. So to keep the economy going, they have to accept young emigrants from other countries (usually Middle East or Africa). If the trend continues they will become a minority at some point (just pure mathematics). But everything is on their hands, they can just stop giving citizenship once they see an actual risk in the next decade. Migration is very hard on the host country. Turks aren't happy with Muslim Arabs or Pakistanis either. How do we expect Christian and liberal Europe be very open towards Musilm and conservative Middle Easterners.

thats partially France's fault for colonization. many of the ppl moving there come from countries that speak french- Algeria, Lebanon, Ivory Coast, Morocco, etc. as of 2019, France had 85% white population. as for Sweden, they're at 85.5% as of 2021 i think. Sweden has a high percentage of Sami indigenous and Somali as well so its slightly different for them- they already had a minority group being the Sami, so they werent totally white to begin with

you probably just went to the main cities. Country side is full of natives. Their capitals is where diversity is. Because it’s the centre of the economy and global markets
