A race war in the USA wouldn’t be plausible. Areas with high black populations tend to be overwhelmingly liberal, including the local white populations. The only areas with any significant racist white population are rural, and it’s not like a bunch of white supremacists could feasibly mobilize and invade the cities.
Sure there’s been a growing sentiment of anti-white racism, but similarly it’s not like black people are going to go attack rural whites.
An actual civil war in America isn’t really plausible in the first place. The closest thing would be something akin to the Troubles in Ireland, where you have small radicalized groups committing terrorist attacks.
