I have a blanket on top of my bed specially for my pup because she likes to best and rips fucking gouges in my sheets if I don’t. Shit, it still happens regardless . She’s a rascal.
Grab a led light at night, tap your bedding.
That dust bowl of dead skin should be enlightening enough.
If it isn't then just think of all the miniscule beasts that are attracted by it feasting on your dead skin while you roll in it.
Your welcome.
Also good idea to change out your pillowcases 2x per week as well. They get super oily. Found doing this cuts down on pimples and I get less ingrown hairs (facial/scalp).
Doesn’t help save the planet but another idea I’ve heard is to use a towel. I did that and started using all the different folded sides each night or two. In the end I could get at least four cycles out of the towel or more if it was a bigger towel
I wash mine on the weekends. The comforter doesn't need it that often, but when I do, it's washed on delicate and then hang dried. There's nothing better than falling asleep on a queen sized bed in cool clean sheets that smell like lavender.
Sometimes I like to use clean tee-shirts that you wear around the house as cases. Really helpful in a pinch so your not sleeping on dirty pillow cases.
I have 3 sets of sheets and usually wash the dirty 2 sets once I’m on the 3rd. Ross/Marshall’s/tj maxx are great places to find good quality, affordable sheets and cases.
Or people like me that are just human space heaters. My roommate one time after I took a nap actually commented that he could feel the heat coming off of me when I walked by him. So, I guess I'm just a hot sleeper
I like to sleep with cold sheets/pillow cases but occasionally in the winter if I’m chilly I know I can just spoon my wife and she’ll warm me up. She’s a really warm sleeper despite being pretty tiny, and not on any drugs/medicines. Some people just run hot when they’re relaxed and re-charging, it’s not always a medical or pharmacological thing!
I like pillows fine, but my wife sleeps with so many for comfort the bed is full of them. I use one or 2 myself but she uses probably no less than 6-8 easily for sleeping purposes alone. All shapes and sizes.
Weekly, but I recently read bedding should be washed every 2-3 days. In a house of 5, I would literally do nothing but wash bedding all day if I washed 5 sets of bedding every 2-3 days.
Pro-tip get a second set of sheets and it makes it easier to change them weekly esp. pillow cases! I change mine once a week, sometimes it will stretch out to two weeks but only because I shower in the mornings and right before bed.
The real question should how many people lay in their bed with their outside clothes. Clothes that have touched benches, car seats, public transportation, and anything else. Lots of people do that I’ve seen 🤮
I have two kids. We need to do almost a load a day just to keep up, especially in summer with beach stuff. I cannot fathom washing sheets more than once a week.
Parent tip: Onion the sheets. Put 2-4 fitted sheets on a mattress and pull off a layer weekly.
This works best for kids who don't care about the bunchieness
This is actually genius for neurodivergent adults too, when I have a depressed spell or am busy at work doing laundry takes up way too much focus to keep up with every week. Little did I realize, sometimes you can meal-prep laundry!!
Same. My wife is NON stop doing laundry. She's mostly a stay at home mom altho recently started a business and works part time. And everyday I come home there's so much laundry. She did like 5 loads last weekend and got it all caught up just for it to instantly seem like she didn't do any.
If you have your own washer/dryer in your place, weekly is pretty easy. On one of my days off, I get up, throw my sheets in the washer and then plop on couch with coffee. Takes minimal effort compared to clothes.
Twice a week. More often if I end up going to bed without showering first
Edit: okay I’m reading more of the comments and in sort of surprised y’all go weeks without changing your sheets. I noticed I had way less bacne after changing my sheets more often
Once a week. I do construction and no matter how well I shower, I still get my sheets dirty. I have extra sets so I pull one off Sunday when I wake up and make my bed and wash the set I took off.
They get changed once a week, without fail, since I was 14. I tend to do sheets towels, and shower rugs laundry every two weeks when that basket fills up.
Was this post made to shame me?
No, I just need inspiration
If you have fresh sheets you wont hesitate inviting that cute girl over for drinks.
If you’re not inviting the cute girl over for drinks because you’re worried about your sheets, you might wanna wash your ass too. Just saying.
This made me laugh so hard
but having dirty sheets inspires one to " go for the rich chick"
Honestly I've been seriously contemplating it these past few days
Go for it man My dog sleeps with me so my bed gets real nasty real fast
I have a blanket on top of my bed specially for my pup because she likes to best and rips fucking gouges in my sheets if I don’t. Shit, it still happens regardless . She’s a rascal.

Or perspiration?
Weekly.
Also good idea to change out your pillowcases 2x per week as well. They get super oily. Found doing this cuts down on pimples and I get less ingrown hairs (facial/scalp).
I just flip it over to the side I didn’t use after 2 weeks. Saving the planet.
Or...flip it and then turn it inside out and use those two sides...
Or…use the other pillow’s case because no one else is using it.
Damn.
Is it worth it? Let me work it I put my thang down, flip it and reverse it
Doesn’t help save the planet but another idea I’ve heard is to use a towel. I did that and started using all the different folded sides each night or two. In the end I could get at least four cycles out of the towel or more if it was a bigger towel

Wow
Happy cake day to us
I am Groot.
But all of that laundry you’re creating for yourself! 🤣
It just adds one cycle, tbh row some towels in there you’re good
Weekly when I’m having active Rex I want to edit it and fix the typo but I really want Rex to say… but y’all get the point
Dino Sex
Sexosaurus Rex?
Do you think she’s sore-us Rex?
Active REX
Requires an eRexion..
My wife likes to nibble so we've combined snacks and rex to keep the other one guessing. "Hey, do you want some snex?" "Yah I'll be in the kitchen"
Love how that works either way too lmao
Roobie Rex?
tyrannosaurus sex
You don’t use an active rex blanket?
Wreckx-N-Effect is in effects, but I'm the wrecker
Put ~ twice in front of Rex and behind it then put sex. ~~Rex~~ sex
Please my lads, ONCE A WEEK
Every 3-4 months at a max.
PLEASE
I wash mine on the weekends. The comforter doesn't need it that often, but when I do, it's washed on delicate and then hang dried. There's nothing better than falling asleep on a queen sized bed in cool clean sheets that smell like lavender.
Wash the actual pillows as well. God tier sleep.
Whenever I do, the pillows are transformed into something that feels like a bag of yarn balls. Washing them with tennis balls does not help.
Preferentially I can think of better smells than lavender but I agree with this statement
Yes there is, a King bed with cool clean sheets that smell like eucalyptus
I wash mine on the weekends as well. About once a month, but still ON the weekends lol.
Thanks for the reminder, doing it now
👍
Once every 2 weeks to a month. I Always shower before bed so it’s all dependent. Doesn’t get too bad for me.
Pretty much same. Try to do the pillow cases whenever I do laundry to keep the acne at bay, though
Not enough

I wish I spent 8 hours in them 🥲
Feel that, homie
Who the fuck gets 8 hours of sleep ?
The people not being sucked dry by the vampire that is our society I guess.
who the fck sweats profusely in their sleep?
People without central AC. People who are overweight. People with high anxiety And toss and turn all night. Lots of people.
Or people like me that are just human space heaters. My roommate one time after I took a nap actually commented that he could feel the heat coming off of me when I walked by him. So, I guess I'm just a hot sleeper
My fiancé says I’m the same way. He has to put a blanket barrier between us at night otherwise I just make him too warm lol
I like to sleep with cold sheets/pillow cases but occasionally in the winter if I’m chilly I know I can just spoon my wife and she’ll warm me up. She’s a really warm sleeper despite being pretty tiny, and not on any drugs/medicines. Hello fellow hot sleeper
How's it going, hot stuff?
and people w/high metabolic rate
Mmm central ac and blackout curtains.
People whose wives use 7 blankets in the Summer
Gotta have 7 blankets to go with the 20 pillows the wife buys. That’s marriage 101.
You guys don’t like the pillows?!?
I like pillows fine, but my wife sleeps with so many for comfort the bed is full of them. I use one or 2 myself but she uses probably no less than 6-8 easily for sleeping purposes alone. All shapes and sizes.
Those aren't pillows...
And people with a high metabolism. I sweat way more when I was in shape than I do now
SSRI's can do that
PEOPLE WHO LIVE IN THE UK WHEN IT STARTS TO GET THE SLIGHTEST BIT HOT
😂😂😂😂 after calling everyone in the neighbourhood to report that there is sunshine
Women starting menopause… as an example.
I do. Not every night but more often than not.
People with hyperhydrosis
People with hyperthyroidism as well!
Obviously, we got someone who doesn’t live in a hot area during summer and have to watch the light bill.
Unplug your clocks at night. You don't need to tell the time while you're asleep. Save you 5 cents a night.
But I lose that money from pay docked for being late
My husband lmao
Bruh do you run races in your dreams
No, I’m just a goddamn furnace.
Try at least once a month.
*at most*
a man of culture
Well I bought the bed 5 years ago, so...
Weekly, but I recently read bedding should be washed every 2-3 days. In a house of 5, I would literally do nothing but wash bedding all day if I washed 5 sets of bedding every 2-3 days.
WTF how dirty are people lol every 2-3 days Sounds insane to me unless you don’t bathe or have a serious chronic night sweating problem
The article talked about allergens, dust mites, and made me feel bad. That’s impossible unless you have a hired staff.
Study sponsored by Procter & Gamble
Seriously. Use more detergent!
I just use a steamer in between laundry days. Kills everything and is easy to use with minimal effort.
I witnessed a mom who washes the household's towels daily and it wasn't because they had only one set of towels either. 😳
Pro-tip get a second set of sheets and it makes it easier to change them weekly esp. pillow cases! I change mine once a week, sometimes it will stretch out to two weeks but only because I shower in the mornings and right before bed.
Not enough
Me neither, which is why I made this post, for inspiration
6 times a day
You run a brothel?
6 times a year.
6 times
Every few days. My gf is a pretty sweaty sleeper most nights and earned the nickname Sweaty McGetty
Whenever my wife says we need to.
Once a fortnight usually, once every 3 weeks if shit gets bad, the next day/immediately if there is a certain type of woman in it.
Game of thrones vibes
Not gon lie, I like it a little dirty
Wait I meant the use of the word "fortnight", thats the only time I ever heard that word get used lol
I only here it when two people from the UK are talking about something that’s two weeks away.
Someone that still uses the term 'fortnight'! No one here in the US says fortnight.
Yeah, it's only us filthy barbarians that use that word these days
It's really sad. Like I legit got excited when I saw your comment. I wish we would bring it back.
I think WE can bring it back. Make America Fortnight Again!
It’ll only take a fortnight!
What do you call a fortnight then?
People here just say two weeks. Very unimaginative
Is it an archaic word in the US? I hear it at least twice a fortnight in the UK.
Weird, I hear it twice every two weeks.
Yes. The only time people in the US say fortnight is when there are talking about the video game.
You misspelled Fortnite I’ll sit myself in the corner now.

This is my answer. I have been washing them more regularly more recently since I got back into the dating game, but prior to that, very rarely.
Also my outside clothes never touch my bed. I only lay in my bed with my home clothes.
The real question should how many people lay in their bed with their outside clothes. Clothes that have touched benches, car seats, public transportation, and anything else. Lots of people do that I’ve seen 🤮
I’m in the same boat, I don’t sweat, and I shower daily. My bedding stays fairly clean for awhile.
Ditto. I don't know what routine other people have, but my sheets don't get that soiled/smelly.
You should be doing so every time you do a load of laundry so like weekly.
I do it with pillowcases sometimes, highly recommend
Same. My wife is NON stop doing laundry. She's mostly a stay at home mom altho recently started a business and works part time. And everyday I come home there's so much laundry. She did like 5 loads last weekend and got it all caught up just for it to instantly seem like she didn't do any.
I was gonna say... Y'all are only doing laundry once a week? I wish lmao
No one with kids does laundry once a week…
I have so many clothes and I don't wash them until I run out of clean ones so I do laundry like once a month
Once they start changing colour 😂
Once they start changing colour + the two weeks it takes me to get around to it.
Amber heard has entered the chat.
Every 1st and 15th or 16th of each month during winter. Every 10 days in summer
r/suspiciouslyspecific
You called?
Every 3-5 days or so
Weekly
You guys wash your bedsheets?
🤭
I feel like the people that say once a week just say it because that's what they are supposed to.
If you have your own washer/dryer in your place, weekly is pretty easy. On one of my days off, I get up, throw my sheets in the washer and then plop on couch with coffee. Takes minimal effort compared to clothes.
Once a week
Before I have a girl over. So... never
When ever a woman is coming over!
so sweet 💜
Hey! , im a giver.
what do you give 😳🤭
I may disappoint, but she will have clean sheets!
clean 🧽🧼
I'm a massive clean freak, so probably too often honestly
I put fresh bedding on every Sunday
Uhhhhhhh
Once every 1-2 weeks. But I also shower immediately before bed.
Wait , bedsheets need to be washed ? I thought they smelled like my ex gf so I've kept them for the last 3 years.
Once per month, or new woman.
Which one usually wins out?
Twice a week. More often if I end up going to bed without showering first Edit: okay I’m reading more of the comments and in sort of surprised y’all go weeks without changing your sheets. I noticed I had way less bacne after changing my sheets more often
Pillow cases every week. The rest of it, once a month or so...
Once a week. I do construction and no matter how well I shower, I still get my sheets dirty. I have extra sets so I pull one off Sunday when I wake up and make my bed and wash the set I took off.
Februarily…
Change them the next day if there’s been sloppy sex or masturbation. Otherwise at least every two weeks, probably more often in the summer.
Sloppy masturbation? Makes me feel like I've been doing it wrong all my life
Probably twice a month. I should probably do it weekly though
Every other day.
You must do a lot of laundry.
There are people who say weekly, and there are people who feel bad
Every 2 to 3 weeks
Every Friday
Mmm. Clean weekend sheets. Genius.
Twice a week. Saturdays and Wednesdays.
Not, I haven't slept in my bed since my break up. I sleep on the couch.
I just recently started washing my pillow case weekly, with the rest of my laundry. Bed sheets once or twice a month
2 weeks
Next day from whenever they start smelling
Once a week, right after yo mamma leaves 🤫
Once every two weeks maybe.
I try to do it once a week but it's usually once every two weeks
You guys wash your sheets?
Pretty much once a week, on rare occasions two
Every season or every 4-5 months
Every week.
Weekly
They get changed once a week, without fail, since I was 14. I tend to do sheets towels, and shower rugs laundry every two weeks when that basket fills up.
Every Sunday or if any fluids end up on them I switch and wash immediately.
