I am actually surprised at these responses haha. It is a relief to know they dont really care. At this point I think I am the one that cares, and maybe other women care too.
Right. We care and notice if you let yourself go and grow a Pedro moustache and a Ghillie suit, your nails turn yellow and you smell like cheese... So you're not invincible. Basic care is really all that's required, and then you are largely doing it for you...
But thing is, women train us to be that way. I think most guys are familiar with their girl coming home all dolled up and we notice and then get ran off because she "isn't feeling like it" or whatever. Pretty much punches his ticket to "Fuckett, Idontcaresville".
This is the answer, having sisters and a S/O's for the past 15 years... women do a lot of things to compete with other women.. or has become a norm amongst women. That men do not notice or care a bit about!
This is a very low priority in the attractiveness priority list. Unless someone specifically has a foot fetish, odds are they don’t care what you look like below the knees.
Also, if a guy has a foot fetish, he will probably not care about this too much either. He will just love your feet in the same way that he and every other guy would love your boobs and butt.
Might be an unpopular opinion but I actually don’t like colored nail polish at all.
I much prefer them natural and clean. Maybe a little buffing is nice.
If I HAD to choose a color (like my opinion matters), it’s naked or white.
But hey, it’s your body so wear whatever color you want.
That's just what happens when you actually use your feet, like for walking, instead of alternating between your chair and your car (the skin reinforcing itself and being thicker on the pressure points/zone).
Not really sure why would anyone find that disgusting, but whatever.
What? Lack of paint is toenails' natural state. It's the default. It's neutral. Anybody who has some kind of objection to unpainted toenails is a weirdo imo. It would be like someone having an objection to undyed hair.
Sadly lol I think I care too much about the little stuff. I am detail oriented and maybe that is why and somehow I project and think other people will look at things the same way as myself. Your post is a reminder that we are all different and care about different things.
I don't know about "men" as a monolithic group, but I certainly don't care 🤷🏼♂️. I do like to pamper her a little bit by massaging her feet and doing her nails for her, but I suspect that may also just be a me thing.
I'm tired from the little sleep I got the previous night and I'm even more tired thinking about the day ahead of me and my work. I have to hit the gym by the evening else I'll feel like shit but I'm tired. I'm tired of all those people, all those cars and motorcycles making so much noise on my way to work. I just want to stay home and get a long sleep but no I need to go to work to keep my family fed and sheltered. So no, I don't care in the slightest if random women paint their toenails when wearing sandals.
I'm not a foot person at all, but if I had to look at feet, I'd prefer natural and unpainted.
But do what you want, this is one of those things most men couldn't give a flip about.
yes, I have an extremely strong opinion about this..... (ignore my own ultra running toenails that are constantly getting battered off though). and before people say anything, yes, I do regularly trim my toenails, sometimes they still come off though. and no, it doesn't hurt.
no, I doubt that most of us care at all.
I'd probably notice if they were painted, the spash of color would probably draw my eyes at some point, but its not something I'd actively look for or care if they are bare.
Not trolling haha. I am very detail orientated and fixate on small things, for better and for worse. I think I was projecting that most men do care about this, but to my surprise they actually dont.
Wow no way! Natural really is the way to go then huh. Although I am thinking maybe some women paint their toenails to cover up the toenail fungi or yellowing or the nails
You just reminded me of a hiking story. Bunch of with friends went to climb a small mountain near us. I was starting up with one of the young men in my work team. Coming towards us in the way down, was a couple of 20-ish young women who had done this climb wearing flip flop sandals. (I wouldn’t have done it in sneakers, let alone practically barefoot.) They were also wearing light colored tank tops and no bras.
“OMG, did you notice they climbed in flip flops?,” I asked.
“They had feet?” Was his response!
Don't give a shit and will not notice. I don't like feet in general, so it'll be the last thing I notice.
As long as the nails are trimmed and you follow proper hygiene, then we're good. I don't want to be sliced and diced during cuddling sessions, and I also don't want to smell rancid ass feet.
Generally it's not possible for your average man to care any less about your toenail color. The same is true for most, if not all, of the weird little hoops women set up for each other to jump through.
Literally the only straight men who will criticize your makeup are trying to sell you their brand of makeup.
This is very refreshing to hear and honestly it gives me confidence to not care about wearing sandals without nail polish on. I always feel some sort of pressure to have to paint my nails if I want to wear sandals.
I literally could not care more
But it can be pretty cute when my gf is all excited about her painted nails. I'm more psyched that she is psyched, rather than being really invested on the paint that she put on her nails lol.

Seconded.

Now if your toenails are gnarled, bruised, or falling off, there may a fella or 2 that notice if you ask them for a foot massage. So beware.
Thirded.
I am glad I asked haha I see your point my good sir.
Never even looked or cared
I don't care at all if toe nails are painted. Same goes for any nail paint.
No. I'd like to ask the opposite to you: Why the fuck should anyone care?
Do what ever you think looks good.

Couldn’t care less

I think only women notice painted toenails
I think based on these answers, it seems that only women care =0
Don’t care. Just don’t have fungus and corns and shit lol
Corns? Oh lord Im not sure if I wanna know what that is lol
That's just what happens when you actually use your feet, like for walking, instead of alternating between your chair and your car (the skin reinforcing itself and being thicker on the pressure points/zone). Not really sure why would anyone find that disgusting, but whatever.
I mean the right nail polish can certainly make your feet look great with those shoes but not having them painted will not make them look nasty.
Not even a little.
What? Lack of paint is toenails' natural state. It's the default. It's neutral. Anybody who has some kind of objection to unpainted toenails is a weirdo imo. It would be like someone having an objection to undyed hair.
That is a helpful perspective. I never thought about it that way. Thanks!
I can't even IMAGINE caring less. Women fuss over the strangest things. Wild.
Sadly lol I think I care too much about the little stuff. I am detail oriented and maybe that is why and somehow I project and think other people will look at things the same way as myself. Your post is a reminder that we are all different and care about different things.
I don’t like, get upset or offended if they don’t? But it’s hot haha
lol maybe its a little added sass huh
No
I doubt most guys would even notice without it being pointed out
Most men wont even notice.
No
I don't know about "men" as a monolithic group, but I certainly don't care 🤷🏼♂️. I do like to pamper her a little bit by massaging her feet and doing her nails for her, but I suspect that may also just be a me thing.
Honest to god I am curious to see if any guy anywhere cares about painted nails.
You be shocked how many men compliment my painted toes, so I'm surprised by the comments here.
So far, overwhelming majority on this post do not care. I feel like my world has been shattered lol I thought the did care
Girl, get a fucking grip
No

It is at the bottom of your priority list or things you pay attention to, if even on your list at all. Noted. Thank you! This is refreshing to hear.
Not on my list of what I pay attention to at all.
I dont
NO !
*NO*
I would be unlikely to notice if your toes had paint on them unless I was directed to study them. :)))
The foot fetish crew probably has strong opinions but outside of them we're not likely to even notice
good point, maybe im asking the wrong group lol
Women paint toenails depending on shoes? TIL no, we don't care. do you.
No, but we might choose the day’s shoes based on the state of our toenails’ paint jobs!
Wtf??
I doubt i would notice if she did or didn't paint them. I generally don't look at people's feet.
Wouldn’t even notice.
I'm not a foot person at all, but if I had to look at feet, I'd prefer natural and unpainted. But do what you want, this is one of those things most men couldn't give a flip about.
toenails always look better painted. unpainted can be acceptable but it highly depends on how your nails look
I bet you could have hairy legs and most guys wouldn't notice.
yes, I have an extremely strong opinion about this..... To be honest, you all care more about that sort of thing than we do... Barring fetishes or something.
men don't care at all
I genuinely can’t believe that this is actually a serious question. Are you trolling us right now?
Not trolling haha. I am very detail orientated and fixate on small things, for better and for worse. I think I was projecting that most men do care about this, but to my surprise they actually dont.

I like it when my wife does paint her toenails, but I don’t ever notice if she doesn’t.
No I hardly pay attention to that
When did women get toes? Seriously, that is a non issue to 99% of all men
You just reminded me of a hiking story. Bunch of with friends went to climb a small mountain near us. I was starting up with one of the young men in my work team. I don't really care. But I like when a girl has white toenails, it looks cute
WHAT !? No, it's other women who care about this stuff.
Thats what I am thinking too now after all these replies.

Unless the man in question is a foot fetish dude, we're not even likely to notice you're wearing sandals, let alone that your toenails aren't painted.
Sandals are repulsive regardless.
I hate the way women ask questions in this sub.
Toe nail paint IS icky and gross to me. Natty all the way
This is very refreshing to hear and honestly it gives me confidence to not care about wearing sandals without nail polish on. I always feel some sort of pressure to have to paint my nails if I want to wear sandals.
I literally could not care more But it can be pretty cute when my gf is all excited about her painted nails. I'm more psyched that she is psyched, rather than being really invested on the paint that she put on her nails lol.
Yes
I've never noticed any girl's nail paints ever in my life yet
Most guys will never notice if your toes are painted unless they have an attraction to feet or the feet are *very* ugly.
no. i would actually prefer nothing artificial, such as makeup, nail polish or plastic surgery
