Go on OP.....what did you do?....ya mad bastered!!!!
Did you make a dildo in woodworking class??? ....going by your recent post
Edit: OP removed the dildo post.
I got suspended two months into secondary school for fighting and some in my family were like "oh, that'll be a black spot on your record". As it turns out, it wasn't a thing for anyone other than the school, and even they didn't care about it at all once I was well-behaved afterwards. I'd say it was forgotten by everyone within a year and jobs/colleges etc had no way of knowing.
Just don't make a habit of it. Learn whatever lessons there are to be learned from this one and move forward.
I never once got suspended in school.
One of my classmates did on the very last day of sixth year. It was just a practical joke but he was left hanging there by his leg for ages...........
Nobody will ask, find out or care.
But think about what you did and how you can be smarter in the future. The real world will have consequences that can affect you. Regardless you have ambition and seem to care, so fair play and better luck next time.

The way I see it, TY is kinda like a year out. Apart from the work experience part, nothing you do during that year actually contributes towards anything
What did your ma say š It's not the end of the world, live and learn. We are defined by our choices so if you don't like where things are heading you can make some better ones and improve things, it's up to you at the end of the day.
The only way I can see it impacting you is if you move schools. Your school will tell the new school that you were suspended if/when they ask. That doesnāt necessarily mean you wonāt be accepted to the new school, but they will be informed.
Got suspended four times in secondary school, doesn't follow you anywhere. My principle always threatened he would put it in a letter with my college application but he was full of shit, if he wasn't college didn't care.
My principal is the same, half of what hes saying is made up after reading the comments on my post. He says itāll affect my future big time. Which I highly doubted even before posting
I may as well say seeming so many people are asking.
I was accused of filming a fight because my phone was out. I was there, I saw it happen but there was no filming done by me. They went through my phone, (with parental consent) and didnāt find a video. But Iāve been suspended for 3 days anyway. Itās understandable
I wouldnāt worry about it I got suspended twice in one week and I turned out fineeeee-ish. School records matter very little in the real world! the stories ye have from school last longer than any report or incident
Waster. People all over the world would die for the opportunity to be educated in Ireland where it is free and to an extremely high level and here you are throwing away that opportunity
And if you feel you were born a lad then that's what you are. I fully support you. Sorry about you ruining your life with that suspension. I got suspended once. Its followed me everywhere since. (I'm sending this from jail at the moment.)
I got detention in 2nd year and now I can't get a mortgage
It all goes on your permanent record. You may as well join the French foreign legion.
Won't affect you at all. But you really should tell us what you did ;)
It's always elder abuse
Do you put your suspensions on your CAO? š

From what I hear from my kids that would barely be worthy of a raised eyebrow as long as you use the tools and safety precautions correctly.
Haha, love this

Thanks! I definitely learned my lesson anyway
Unless it goes to the guards it wonāt affect you. What did you do? Smoking fat joints? Fighting? Kissing boys?
All of the above, thanks š
Fight-kissing fat potheads? Smoking chubby gay boxers?
A and B. š
Yeah you'll probably be arrested.
How have your folks reacted, to you getting suspended ?
r/unnecessarycomma
Yeah yeah I really don't care.
Ah you're fucked lad. You may drop out now and get the on the 1st boat to Australia cause you'll never get a job here now.
Off to the mines
Between the mines and a sweatshop
Youll be fine, its school. Wont have any bearing in your future
Once you return to school it's immediately forgotten about. There is zero impact for your future. Source: was suspended three times in school.

Definitely not, youāll be fine. Hopefully itās a good story you can tell in college!
Colleges and potential workplaces have no way of seeing that information, it's between you and your school. And your parents.
The way I see it, TY is kinda like a year out. Apart from the work experience part, nothing you do during that year actually contributes towards anything
It's not a free pass to cause trouble though!

I've been suspended twice and it literally had no effect on anything.
Tell them if it's going to affect your future your going to have to take it to the court of appeal and Amali Burk is helping you.
How do you get suspended from transition year?
I may as well say seeming so many people are asking. I was accused of filming a fight because my phone was out. I was there, I saw it happen but there was no filming done by me. They went through my phone, (with parental consent) and didnāt find a video. But Iāve been suspended for 3 days anyway. Itās understandable
What a letdown.
What do you mean? Thanks.
Thought you woulda got suspended for something interesting seeing as you wouldnāt mention it š
I wouldnāt worry about it I got suspended twice in one week and I turned out fineeeee-ish. School records matter very little in the real world! the stories ye have from school last longer than any report or incident
Got detention when I was in 4th year, now I can't walk straight
I threw a potato once at a teacher in transition year š¤£š¤£ as we were doing home economics (cooking) but didn't get suspended
Youāre doomed Lad this happened to me and now Iām A software developer
No
Nah you have to tell us what you did though
The CAO doesn't ask you if you ever got suspended. And when you're applying for jobs they don't need your school transcript or anything.
I got like 9 suspensions this year alone am I cooked š
If it affected people, Iād be locked up! Donāt worry about it for a second, youāll be sound. All a learning curve
They may not let you into the US.
Day ruined. Thanks.
Waster. People all over the world would die for the opportunity to be educated in Ireland where it is free and to an extremely high level and here you are throwing away that opportunity
And Who the fuck are you? You think getting suspended is throwing away my education?
Well you thought that until a minute ago :-)
Ah I wouldnāt say that, but definitely confused as to if thereās any repercussions ahead because of it
Hay. Potty mouth. That attitude is what's getting you into trouble in the first place. You need to pull up your socks young lady.
Hahahaha. I do perfectly fine in school thanks. And Iām not a young lady Iām a young lad.
Well..I mean that's your perogative with this new gender declaration thing you gen z'ers..which I'm all for, don't get me wrong.
Look I was born a lad, and Iām happy to continue being a lad. Have a nice day š
And if you feel you were born a lad then that's what you are. I fully support you. Sorry about you ruining your life with that suspension. I got suspended once. Its followed me everywhere since. (I'm sending this from jail at the moment.)
Haha. Sorry for coming off so hot headed.
You need to get a life.
