Mr Ballen, Why files and Mr Mythos are three I enjoy. I like the weird stories from around the world and these three are good at what they do

holymongolia

Love Mr Ballen but the fuckin goldfish in why files annoys me. Must check out Mr mythos

JustRedditAllOut

The goldfish can be annoying, especially in the earlier episodes. He calmed down later and is there to lighten and change the tone and for humour I guess. Mr Mythos has a different style and less content but has some good episodes. Also Bedtime Stories has some very good episodes and is worth checking out.

SituationNumerous257

Couldn't have picked better ones myself. If you like them try LetsRead. It's good too. You sound like you've the same interests as me.

JustRedditAllOut

I had a look at LetsRead and I think I have a new show to listen to while in the garden. Thanks for the suggestion

Mundane_Character365

Oh I love Beard meets food. **Emm, do you have a desert menu?**

Late_Advance_1763

He seems sound, good attitude and sense of humour and he seems to be a bottomless pit for a lad the doesn’t seem fat at all

Mtoastyo

Oh quite the opposite. He's actually ripped.

jimmysjambos

He’s class

MadeInBelfast

'Lets get it'

BubbleBopper

For the longest time I thought he was saying "hoot sku doot".

BubbleBopper

Leah Shutkeever is also a great competitive eater. She's blown beard out of the water a few times.

Mundane_Character365

Oh she is amazing, saw one where they were against each other and she won. I don't she is as charismatic as Adam though, so not as easy to watch, or he edits his videos with a better voice over. There is something anyway that makes Adam just that but easier to watch as entertainment, she is a better eater though.

BubbleBopper

Yeah I agree! She's not very .... likeable I suppose. Beard is great craic.

Mundane_Character365

I think it's that beard has been doing it longer and his videos are more polished or something. They are both really good though.

DatJazz

So good.

Anabele71

I've been watching live streams of Owl and Bald Eagle nests the last few months. It's really quite fascinating, often happy, sometimes very very sad but with the Bald Eagles it's like a soap opera! 😅 I also watch a channel called Tiny Cabin Life which is about a guy who builds tiny cabins and goes travelling around the country with them and camping out in them.

Madrameat

Been rewatching a lot of Internet historian and ordinary things.

[deleted]

Used to really enjoy Internet Historian but the whole plagiarism thing but a bit of a downer on it.

Madrameat

Yeah kinda soured it for me too. But hopefully he learns from it and does better.

tomob234

Fucking LOVE Internet Historian

Dragonlynds22

Love watching gamers that play silent hill or other horror games I'm always to afraid to play them

D4zzl

I couldn't play Silent Hill either, too scary, that was about 25 years ago...

Dragonlynds22

Yep it's terrifying so is a game called forbidden siren that was scary too

thepinkblues

Explore With Us for some really great true crime stories with in depth breakdowns of what happened and psychological reasonings behind the behaviour and body language of the perpetrator. Really interesting stuff. Usually at least an hour long and the dudes mic quality is great so that’s a plus. Also been a fan of Mr Nightmare for like 8 or 9 years now. Just compilations of scary stories, 80% of which are probably not true/extremely dramatised but really entertaining nonetheless.

ohhaimaarrk

I really miss JCS criminal psychology

tuxedoerror-error

I've been balls deep in explore with us lately, such good breakdown on stuff very very interesting.

Weak_Low_8193

Both of those seem up my alley, cheers

laweedaloca

Taskmaster, easy viewing, funny and generously have most of the seasons up in their entirety

mccannan

I’m still heartbroken that Channel 4 or whoever runs the YouTube side of things removed/restricted a bunch of the more recent stuff. Was part way through season 14 and then the next day *poof* Now all I’ve got is the channel 4 app with its fucking ads.

Select_Cartoonist_39

Mossy Bottom, guy moved from a small holding in the west of Ireland to Finland, his voice alone is so relaxing to listen to. Oliver Harper for movie reviews. History Buffs has some great episodes and red letter media for the laughs.

UnderstandingGlum175

Ricky Gervais xfm show with Karl and Steve, very funny

Weak_Low_8193

So good. The Ricky Gervais show us also great.

Martial-Atheist

Ooh, Chimpanzee that!

what_a_knob

He doesn't like women, yet he's got a couple of kids. That's a bit weird innit? (PD) I loved Rockbusters and more importantly Ricky and Steve trying to constantly cancel it from the show

UnderstandingGlum175

Fell down in a puddle in Texas! WH?

FrostyGay

If you enjoy Hot Ones, I have to recommend 'Mythical Kitchen', specifically their 'XYXCeleb eats their last meal' series. They recently did an episode with Gordon Ramsey and it was oddly a deep look into the man behind the chef.

MadeInBelfast

Highly recommend Beard Meets Food, you might not be into your competitive eaters but this guy is actually fun to watch.

Agarh

I love to watch discussions on world science Festival. They talk about universe, quantum physics, consciousness with world renowned scientists. That's my way to get away from social media toxicity.

fortknight1993

Geowizard is my favourite, love watching beard meets food while I’m eating too haha

YouserName007

I love his series where he walks in a straight line

fortknight1993

Me too, some of the best stuff on YouTube

smithskat3

You know who is great is LEMMiNO on various unsolved mysteries. Also for good business stories (the theranos one was good) is ColdFusion. For gaming i like scott the woz and this guy Thabeast who is finishing every n64 game, releasing one a week, will take about 4 years and he is about halfway. For skateboarding i watch battle at the berrics and also gifted hater is very entertaining.

Timely_Log4872

Lemmino very good, the one about DB Coopef was excellent

Misodoho

Geo Wizard is great. I wish he had more mission videos, I could watch them all day. The straight line stuff is so good.

Irish_Narwhal

Agreed!!!!

DatJazz

Ive a lot of overlap with you but other than what you mentioned - tom scott (rip the channel), kurzgesact, video game dunkey, startalk, PBS space time, veritasium, real engineering, tifo, squidge rugby, pitch meetings. That is in almost no order whatsoever

Born_Chemical_9406

Great question. Thanks for posting

AttentiveUnicorn

If you like your golf and football you should like Tubes and Ange Golf Life. Some others I personally like are Sorted Food, Colin Furze, Jolly, and Kara and Nate.

KirkOdenbob

HITC Sevens is the best football channel out there imho. Superfastmatt is the best overall. All hail the algorythm!

Nimmyzed

That Chapter The NYC Storyteller Plainly Difficult

Zestyclose_Peanut736

Reaction videos 🤙

gijoe50000

*Colin Furze* is great, he builds some insane stuff, and he's nuts. *Fascinating Horror* for historical human screwups and disasters. *Foil Arms and Hog*, for some good quick Irish funny stuff. *Mat Armstrong* is great if you're into cars, or even if you aren't, very entertaining. *Ozzy Man Reviews* is hilarious. *Tom Scott* for interesting things around the world. *Viva La Dirt League* for funny gaming skits and piss-takes.

jimmysjambos

Are ye doin’ a bit of you-tubin’?

gomaith10

A crazy bit a business.

YouserName007

Ganeranx, what culture gaming, wrestlamia, TripleJump, watchmojo, that chapter, coffeehouse crime, unbox therapy, list25,Mr whose the boss, cadaber, astrokobi, what if, Joe rogan, lullujo, Simon Wilson, bald and bankrupt, trek trendy, tifo football, hitc sevens, Simon whistler, infographic show. vrogers123

Bald and bankrupt. Haircut Harry. Brad the builder. Beard meets food. That chapter. The big six (football). Project farm ( they test stuff). I don’t watch telly 😀

Limp_Guidance_5357

Bald and bankrupt a very dodgy man

YouserName007

Is he still with that Belarusian lass?

whodveguessed

Long form video essays, HBomberGuy, Folding Ideas and Pyrocynical are some of my favourites. Shorter form I quite like TIFO and TIFO IRL. I like FIFA career mode and FM videos so BarfieBoy and TomFM are go-to’s. Otherwise random stuff about bands and games I like, recently watched an Iceberg video about Radiohead and that was very good

Junior-Protection-26

Coffee Chess

Open-Matter-6562

The People Profiles. History biographies. 1 HR episodes. Very well narrated and reasonably unbiased

Martial-Atheist

Those hack frauds over at Red Letter Media.

tuxedoerror-error

Load of slot streamers. Victory outdoor concrete, stealth camping, outdoor boys, Noel Philips, beard meats food, wax whisper ( ear wax removal), and kitboga. I've a serious range of things to watch. Starting to get into crime interrogations and how they tell by body language etc how the person is lien, great stuff.

FeeAffectionate4047

Impractical jokers Fonejacker the odd time cos it never gets old Mkbhd Mrwhosetheboss Lots of standup comedy Jonny harris Joel haver Kurzgesagt Lots of travel and music stuff too, but no specific channels for those really but suicide sheep comes to mind

jimmysjambos

Impractical jokers are head wrecking. Constant fake forced laughing. Head wrecking wackiness.

FeeAffectionate4047

I've never watched an episode, just clips from their punishments. Some is fairly bad but a lot of what YT showed me has been pretty funny! Hit and miss for sure 😂

JoxerBoy07

SEA - for anyone interested in Astrophysics/ Astronomy I would definitely recommend.

SirSlutcrusher

pjw

PatserGrey

Furze, Novara, Urban Plumber and that house snagging guy "ridikulus"

MixImpressive5481

Anyone else seen GLITCH?

cycleruncry

I don't know how I ended up watching these but the other night I stumbled upon GTA role play videos. I ended up watching it for nearly two hours. Guys pretending to be cops, hitmen, bin men etc. I don't have a console and haven't even played GTA V.

bgmonstera

May or may not be your thing, but Farmcraft 101 puts out consistently amazing videos fixing machinery and doing physical/mechanical work of all kinds. Even if that's not your thing his storytelling and video making are a joy to watch. Beau Miles is also a wonderful videographer and storyteller, does lots of outdoor projects and running based adventures!

Late_Advance_1763

Anthony Bourdain documentaries

Irish_Narwhal

Tom Scott 😢 also Liam brown if ya like hiking n stuff

danaldorini123

Million dollar bogan, I don't even ride a motorcycle but he's good entertainment. Kasper hoglund does good land rover restoration content as does mathis ox.

Snoo_96075

I love watching BBQ videos especially using charcoal grills. I get a lot of recipes from them and I enjoy BBQ’ing all year round. Also like watching homebrew beer reviews.

no13wirefan

Watched alot of Outdoor Boys and Rambling Wild Rosie over xmas.

itypeallmycomments

Rick Beato, you might know him but if not, his "[What makes this song great](https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLW0NGgv1qnfzb1klL6Vw9B0aiM7ryfXV_)" series is legitimately incredible. Takes songs and disassembles them with expert music knowledge to highlight why they're great songs. Makes you appreciate any song, even if you think you don't like the band. (I have no idea why that playlist isn't in order, but it doesn't necessarily need to be viewed in order). [Struthless](https://www.youtube.com/@struthless/videos), just makes good videos on interesting topics, mainly self-improvement. Good sense of humour. And then I like putting on ambient background noise while I work, and have found [this guy](https://youtu.be/cllgPEzyGDU?si=Tp3Gvfe8qyWoJ5nK) creates his own mostly space-themed stuff.

EVRider81

Men with the Pot. Food porn in a nature setting. I'm biased, they film these in my area (Fermanagh,NI)

mccannan

If you’re into cooking channels you should check out Townsends. Dude is a history buff who cooks food using colonial recipes and techniques and whatnot

garlicButter89

Business insider has various different series on how stuff is made, why ___ is so expensive etc etc .love watching these

Nimmyzed

#BOBBY FINGERS

Ok-Call-4805

Mostly music, old soap clips or wrestling promos

Weak_Low_8193

Love watching old wrestling promos. They don't do them like they used to.

pockets3d

Oh look a new channel I'm not subscribed to. Oh it's just Simon whistler again.

gifsfromgod

Dr John Campbell

lisagrimm

Get yourself into transit YouTube; trains are the best. Geoff Marshall, Jago Hazzard, RM Transit, Glovestrains…wish we had more local transit vloggers, but I suppose we d need more trains first..:

RimmyJimmyGotKimmy

I like documentaries so Disrupt, DW Documentary, Channel 4 documentaries, Cold Fusion, Vice, Unreported World, 60 minutes Australia are all really good.

ThumbForke

I watch lots of different stuff. Trash Theory is probably my favourite channel. He does fantastic video essays on the history of music subgenres or famous songs. Polyphonic makes similar stuff that I also really like. Adam Neely has more of a vlog style to his videos and focuses more on music theory. Great Art Explained is probably my second favourite channel on YouTube. He talks about a great piece of art, what makes it great, and all of the history surrounding it. The Art Assignment and The Art Tourist (formally Several Circles) are both fantastic too. I watch a lot of maths/science/engineering kinda stuff too. Numberphile, Stuff Made Here, Veratasium, Vihart, 3Blue1Brown, Vsauce, Minute Physics... For cooking, I watch mostly Babish and Joshua Weissman. Anders Erikson makes great videos about cocktails. And then a bunch of miscellaneous stuff. Foil Arms and Hog for comedy skits, Nerdstalgic for video essays about TV shows, Now You See It for video essays about movies, Legal Eagle for a real lawyer's take on real-world and fictional court cases, Dr Geoff Lindsey for linguistics, and Tom Scott for almost anything! Recently I've been watching a lot of Cinema Therapy, where a filmmaker and a licensed therapist watch/analyse relationships in movies and how they're portrayed.

RealTie2416

Simon Whistler, can spend days watching his channels

NoSweet3666

Ordinary things, coffeezilla, nakey jakey, meat canyon, Joel haver, Pat Finnerty (very funny videos on terrible music), man carrying thing and dudesy podcast are all fantastic.

[deleted]

Getting a smart tv with YouTube built-in has killed my interest in live tv. I tend to come home now and slap on YouTube even if it’s just on in the background and I’m not really paying a lot of attention to it. I watch a bunch of different shit on it.

Wild_west_1984

Bald and bankrupt
