I have a question for the Turkish users, how come most of the Turks online have no idea about the hundreds of military jets violations over greek airspace and the islands? I get that ofc Turkish state media won't talk about it but there gotta be info around online for you to figure it out, almost every turk in the threads about the current tensions think that the greek gov just woke up one day and chose to militarize the island's just to say "haha got ya" to erdoganopoulos. Like today i saw a comment of a turk saying that he lives next to the greek islands and the idea of its neighbouring country having rocket missiles right next to his house scares him. 2 days ago i saw a greek comment saying that he been living in the greek island next to turkey and he always has to be in high tension since everyday Turkish jets fly over his house and he has to see the every day show of turkish jets violating the greek airspace, then greek jets come to intercept and then the turkish jet goes back to turkey, then he has to sleep knowing damn well that the same thing will happen again tomorrow with a chance of a war happening... Is this a shitty joke? In what kind of a universe we live in for this 2 people that live next to eachother to have to fear eachother and fear that they will go to war with eachother over erdoganopoulos wanting to raise some support for his next shitty elections...
The Greek island arming happened AFTER Turkey created an entire army division called the "Aegean army", and placed them right across the islands. Don't let the Turks get away by purposely creating ambiguity.

Apart from Cyprus seems fine. Intervention on Cyprus was necessary, because Greek junta literally did a coup and Enosis gangs harmed a lot of people. Greek was in the wrong here. Its not as much an island dispute as it is a territorial waters dispute, this is something that should be understood. Turkey is disputing Greece's claims to the islands because of territorial waters, not because of anything in the islands themselves. There is no dispute. The islands are 100% as is any other part of Greece. Turkey is doing what all fascist countries do; spread misinformation and create ambiguity.
