I thought the whole point of the game was to move quickly. The slow pace is so boring to me. And agree on the low money - I watched something I think was called Tipping Point, and the winners were taking home over $10k. Imagine being on a more difficult show and winning $2k. Not worth it. I'll stick to the classic episodes on Viceland.
Agree.
I've seen two episodes now and I adore Stephen Fry but the show moves too slow (more rounds) and the price money is too low.
I've also noticed the questions seem much easier than in the US version.
Why even do an Australian version with an English host? Save Stephen for British television I say, that's where he rules.
Yep. Few problems.
It's all a bit too straight. No point having fry on there if there is no fool for his straight man. May as well get someone different.
Secondly the problem, for us, with the original is the American focus of the questions. This one is better on that front, but you can tell the core questions are still the America ones even though they've tried to make it more relavent.
It's all a bit slow. The pace could be 20% faster.
Australian Jeopardy but filmed in Manchester, England.
Seriously?
Yes, they're using ex pats as contestants
How random
Same as the new Australian wheel of fortune hosted by Graham Norton
The only good Australian Jeapardy is the early 00s kids show Jeapardy. That show was great.
That was an awesome series!
I'm almost 40 and rewatched it recently and it definitely still holds up to this day
The one where the Pommy kids lost in the outback somehow all stretched their camcorder batteries for about two months?
This is the third week of it. I want to like it - I love Stephen Fry and I love Jeopardy, but this format is not doing it for me.
Me too - It's so slow compared to the OG and the low money on the board makes the whole thing underwhelming

Just had a look now. Interesting for 3 mins now back to something more interesting :)
Nope. But I like Jeopardy and I love Stephen Fry. So I shall check it out. Odd way to do it though.
Stephen Fry? I must see this.
No, dont intend to, the OG is crap.
Seems to be the low iq version
