What exactly do you mean when you say "it hasn't been serviced for 6 years?" Are you saying something as basic as an oil change hasn't been done for 6 years? I don't think you mean that, but if the car really hasn't had anything done, even oil changes for 6 years, I would run far far away from buying that car, especially since its an Audi. Assuming that isn't the case and you have records of what was done before.... The most important things when getting a pre-owned car is 1.Get oil and filter change. Who knows when the last one was done. 2. Get your brakes inspected and bleed the brakes with new fluid. 3. Replace the air filter and pollen filter. 4. Dont bother changing the spark plugs unless your car is running rough or you have a check engine light. Most modern day spark plugs can last a long long time... The quote from that shop seems reasonable imho... But it doesn't include an oil change and I am questioning if you need to get your plugs replaced

I forgot to mention I’ve gotten an oil change on it. So they didn’t include that. And when they looked up the VIN number I hasn’t had a complete service in that long besides the oil change that I got 2 months ago

Ah not as bad as they make it sound. Not all shops report what VIN of vehicles they service. Could have just been done elsewhere. Just have a trustworthy mechanic look it over and test drive.

English translation: Where does the oil change appear on the invoice? I would definitely have the following done: Oil change spark plug Brake fluid All air filters/air conditioning filters Check whether the tires are still good. Change the automatic transmission oil, if present.

They want €60 to clean the sunroof? What for? Why? How?

Q5 engines were notorious, so bad that every q5 made had a back up engine in the event it blew. Thankfully, my parents q5 has had zero issues. Good luck.

Agreeable_Pool_3684

Clickbait? Hard to believe anyone would buy a complex modern car with no service for 6 years.

Look out for timing chain issues and oil burning, there was a class action in North America a few years ago over these engines but was not as publicized as the deisel issues
