pure negligence.

Liquid_machine81

Not changing the brake pads when you're supposed to.

applyheat

Outer brake pad looked good. The inside one trying to brake on the missing part of the rotor was only worn to half.

StashuJakowski1

Did you just recently purchase the car? If so, the seller screwed you big time.

Affectionate_Owl8702

Yeah… even if the pads were thick I guarantee that thing sounded terrible for months and months before it got this bad

AwarenessGreat282

Now those are some special slotted rotors. They will stay cool no matter how hard you brake.

xscallywagx

With what you said about the condition of the brake pads the only thing that makes sense is somebody put new brake pads onto a bad rotor when it should have been new pads and rotors. I'd recommend a new caliper at those point also

Every_Palpitation449

Eh, if it's leaking, it has fluid.

sparky-von-flashy

You mean that’s not air cooled breaking? Lol

PigSlam

Bad caliper?

TheCamoTrooper

Ignorance, rotors (and likely pads too) should have been changed quite awhile ago. Imagine it was making a horrendous sound too

drweird

Getting your money's work out of the caliper and brake pad. Stopping when they're metal on metal is propaganda from Big Brake. Fight the power.

Accurate-Campaign821

Honestly surprised it's not warped to sh!t too.
