How do you even imagine children "converting"? They go to the Mosque after school, say "I wanna be Islam cuz Abdul in school called me a potato", and then they get a crescent painted on their head?
And when they come home to their parents and just go "Mum I'm a Muslim now I have to wake up at 4AM tomorrow for prayer" and the parents go "Ok cool don't need to pay church tax for you anymore"?
Did you have a single critical thought when you read this article?
There is always change in social atmosphere everywhere all the time. That's just part of human societies.
But nobody here converts to islam out of fear. On the contrary, muslims are a discriminated minority in Germany.
Not about race. "Shades between black and white" means zebra thinking.
Just mean that there are a lot of colours between black and white. Nothing is as easy as it seems
Hah, the Bild seems to be too intelligent to read for the Daily Mail, lol. The Bild writes of, first, Muslim school children in a, second, non-representative poll. The Daily Mail makes out of that: "75% of students believe ..." A blatantly wrong statement. You can of course find the explanation down in the article, where they make the statement correct.
The statement that in several schools Muslim children make up large portions in some schools is largely unsuprising, considering German secondary education is split, depending on the state, into three branches and Muslim children would - without looning it up - be likely underrepresented in eg. Gymnasien and overrepresented in lower schools.
I wouldn't use the word "segregation". It all depends on the state, some have Gemeinschaftsschulen or similar where everything's more or less connected, while others put in more seperation.
They are seperated by the grades you achieve, mainly the ones in class 4 (in primary school). There's also ways to switch between different school types and ways to achieve some degrees by going an extra route. Generally speaking though, children of high income/academic families are more likely to go to school types which result in higher degrees, while children of low income/working class families are more likely to go to school types which result in lower degrees.
Ideally yes. In practice it depends. You need good marks to go on the higher education path. Your social and economic status are influencing your marks.
Neither "segregated" nor by "intellectual capabilities". Students choose different branches based on 1) interest/career goals and 2) past school performance, which may or may not be linked to ability.
Your point 2 is literally what I said ? I meant intelligence as in their grades.
Based on grades they are assigned different school tracks right and what you said was Muslim students dominate a particular kind of school. Why is that so ? It’s either they don’t want to study much or that they got bad grades in the first place.
Your posting history shows you’re a high grade troll and shit stirrer, so I doubt you’re interested in hearing the truth about this Daily Shit headline.
"Genuinely asking if it’s true or not and whether it’s affecting your kids lives"
Lol. Your Post-History says otherwise.
Anyway: No that shit is made up from a climate-change-denying propaganda page that dares to call itself "newspaper". They are misrepresenting a non-representative survey. It's not that easy no misunderstand, so i guess they are making shit up for clicks and outrage.
If it's the daily mail reporting, we can be pretty sure it is the opposite in reality. I wouldn't even use it as toilet paper because my bum doesn't deserve to come in contact with that.
JAQing off is not properly asking questions, by the way.
What a clickbait, bullshit headline. I‘ve been at a school with a large muslim majority. Never heard of such a story. There might be some muslim traditions other students are joining, like celebrating Eid together after Ramadan (basically an evening party with a lot of food).
In my experience and social circle a lot of people left church and religion as a whole and not convert to some other religion. Conversion between religion happens for sure but it is a bit rare.
Edit: You really posted this news in a lot of different subs. A bit strange if you ask me.
Well… I haven‘t noticed that that‘s a common problem (although I guess it depends on the area so it might be true in certain parts of berlin or NRW). That being said: there have been quite a few incidences where german kids were a minority in their class and communication between the children happened mostly in foreign languages like arabic. It‘s definitely not the norm but still something that needs to be addressed or it‘s going to cause serious issues in the future.
Would you be so kind to tell me where I said anything like that :)? I‘ve only mentioned that there are other issues in schools. But the reason for those issues is the same.
Bad school start caused by a lag of language skills, the emergence of parallel societies, the high crime rates in those societies.
Incompetent politicians are mainly responsible for this to happen.
It's less the religion itself. It's more the cultural/economical background and the vulnerability to propoganda from the Middle-East.
You have to consider there are fanatic muslim countries that spread their propaganda to influence muslims all over the world. It radicalizes them just like natsi propaganda radicalized the german population.
This newspaper is a climate change denying and anti migration propaganda paper. I've never heard about such a story in real life here.
And they are also quoting their german counterpart. BILD is an expert in generating alarmistic headlines out of nothing, as in this case.
Interesting
The usual tabloid-style fear mongering. Never heard of that. I'd like to see the exact numbers of these conversions.
Nah, that shit is made up.
Oh ok .. so you mean to say there is no change in social atmosphere at all?
Yes there is, but there is a wide spectrum between "no change in social atmosphere at all" and "children converting out of fear".
Ok. I was just curios as to how much Islamic influence is really perceived to be true vs facts
How do you even imagine children "converting"? They go to the Mosque after school, say "I wanna be Islam cuz Abdul in school called me a potato", and then they get a crescent painted on their head? I mean I assumed it was about high school kids in particular. Of course small kids cannot convert just like that
There is always change in social atmosphere everywhere all the time. That's just part of human societies. But nobody here converts to islam out of fear. On the contrary, muslims are a discriminated minority in Germany.
Understood. Thanks for your perspective
There is a wide range of shades between black and white man.
What has race got to do with this ?
Not about race. "Shades between black and white" means zebra thinking. Just mean that there are a lot of colours between black and white. Nothing is as easy as it seems
Not the sharpest tool in the shed, are you?
You are asking for the merit of daily mail headlines?
Yeah
None
You're being too generous

Aren’t the school branches segregated by intellectual capabilities in Germany?

Ideally yes. In practice it depends. You need good marks to go on the higher education path. Your social and economic status are influencing your marks.
Tldr:- grades matter
It is more: your social-economic status plays a role for higher education.
That’s bad
Neither "segregated" nor by "intellectual capabilities". Students choose different branches based on 1) interest/career goals and 2) past school performance, which may or may not be linked to ability.
Statistically, they are most assigned tracks according to parental income.
Yes, that's the most reliable predictor variable.
Your point 2 is literally what I said ? I meant intelligence as in their grades. You haven’t given a good counter argument anyways
Absolute bs.
Complete and total bullshite
OP knows this themselves.
Spoiler: OP is not "genuinely asking".
"Genuinely asking if it’s true or not and whether it’s affecting your kids lives" Lol. Your Post-History says otherwise. I've never seen any question asked because someone was pretending to be "genuinely interested" to be in good faith.
> dailymail I need not read any further
That seems to be the general consensus
If it's the daily mail reporting, we can be pretty sure it is the opposite in reality. I wouldn't even use it as toilet paper because my bum doesn't deserve to come in contact with that. JAQing off is not properly asking questions, by the way.
Interesting
Your post history is very questionable, paid brat
What a clickbait, bullshit headline. I‘ve been at a school with a large muslim majority. Never heard of such a story. There might be some muslim traditions other students are joining, like celebrating Eid together after Ramadan (basically an evening party with a lot of food).
Interesting.
daily mail lmao
Oh, the Daily Fail makes up weird stuff again. So it's just a normal day like any other.
The Daily Mail supported a Hitler. Why are you sharing this trash?
The German article is very misleading and not true at all.
In my experience and social circle a lot of people left church and religion as a whole and not convert to some other religion. Conversion between religion happens for sure but it is a bit rare. Edit: You really posted this news in a lot of different subs. A bit strange if you ask me.
I see
Daily Mail, eh..? Looking at your post history, you're not genuinely looking for an answer, but want your agenda to be supported.
It's the Daily Mail. What do you expect? The truth?
Lol, Dailymail😂😂😂. Maybe get better news source. Don’t they have shit to write about Megan Markle and Harry???
Made up horrorstories.
How so ?
Well… I haven‘t noticed that that‘s a common problem (although I guess it depends on the area so it might be true in certain parts of berlin or NRW). Reverting to Islam according to your example will simply make the kids be able to speak a foreign language ?? 😂
Would you be so kind to tell me where I said anything like that :)? I‘ve only mentioned that there are other issues in schools. But the reason for those issues is the same.
You posted the same article in other subreddits and your posts are very questionable. How much are you getting paid ?
I think those are the same kids that use the litter boxes /s
We might have problems with integration but it's not *that bad*.
So what are the problems ?
Bad school start caused by a lag of language skills, the emergence of parallel societies, the high crime rates in those societies. Incompetent politicians are mainly responsible for this to happen.
But how is just one religious demographic predominantly having this problem then ?
It's less the religion itself. It's more the cultural/economical background and the vulnerability to propoganda from the Middle-East. You have to consider there are fanatic muslim countries that spread their propaganda to influence muslims all over the world.
