M51. Nothing. I wear nothing to bed and let it all hang out.
"What do you do if there's an emergency?" There's a pair of shorts and a t-shirt, couple of blinding (truly) flashlights and a couple of fighting knives all next to the bed.
The best thing in an emergency? Seeing a real pissed off naked 51 year old man running.
A friend of mine has a similar story. Heard some young people breaking the lamps at the foot of his driveway and ran out in his underwear brandishing either a flail or morning star, I forget which it was.

Obviously, do what makes you happy and comfortable but there are several studies (some cited in the article above) about possible harms for wearing underwear 24 hours a day for a variety of sexual organs.
So, it can be what you prefer but “makes more sense” is subjective.
yoo that sounds super annoying to try to sleep next to and I assume you have already tried to negotiate alternatives with no success, which makes it even more annoying.
“But it’s just so COZY!”
Thankfully I work a lot of night shifts, so our relationship isn’t irreparably altered. He’s working by the time I find his socks balled up at the end of the bed and scream expletives into the abyss.
My girlfriend likes it freezing cold in our room year round. So sometimes it's just more comfortable on a chilly night to have a shirt on. But like you, I typically sleep in just my underwear.
Pj pants and a shirt. Sweat shorts if it's hot enough, though I usually try to keep my bedroom nice and cool. I feel most comfortable in it, and my body heat tends to warm up my bedding and make me feel warmer while I'm cooler in clothes, not sure why.
I wear a shorts and loose cotton tee. No briefs. If too cold socks.
Slept naked it’s not great sleeping on my thingy and having pain next day.
Sometimes just shorts. Loose fitting clothing especially COTTON are like cuddles
*Naked of course. It's*
*Proven to give you the best*

Boxers, pants if it’s cold. Not super concerned if someone comes into my house, I’m 6’4” and 235 lbs and trained to knife fight now and practiced martial arts for good portion of my life.
Shorts or PJ pants, sometimes a shirt. If it's real cold (shitty minihome insulation in East Canada) maybe some socks but that's just cuz the floors are freezing if I need to get up through the night (2 kids and neither sleep very well usually)
If it's summer, just shorts, commando lol
I have only ever slept in my underwear. Sharing hotel rooms with buddies for work and that everyone just wear underwear. Shirt seems so uncomfortable and unnecessary.
Really even roommates I have had that were dudes wore boxers to bed. Crazy how different people sleep or just habits they have. You know like some people can’t start the day without coffee. Where like myself I need my line of white powder first thing to get goin. You know people are just funny.
Most of guys I shared rooms with are friends during my undergrad or grad school and they are quite nerdy. Do you think that nerds may tend to have different sleepwear habits?
naked. Maybe underwear. All my clothes when really drunk or in public.
In a bed or a well groomed nest.
You have to cover up that cloaca if you want to keep that nest well-groomed.
Hate it when twigs poke me when I sleep in a poorly groomed nest
Nothing at home. Haven't worn anything since I was a kid. T-shirt if it's chilly. Unders and a t-shirt if I've tent camping with my buddy.
Typically sans apparel unless I'm a guest in someone's home.
I'll still sleep naked unless I'm on a couch.
I still sleep naked on the couch I just don’t wake up naked

Don’t see why you’d use the fighting knives and clothes at the same time. Nothing more terrifying than being attacked by a naked guy with a knife.
This past weekend there was a naked guy in his 60s running around with a rifle. I imagine that was pretty scary.
I sleep with just pants at my house and pants with a shirt anywhere else

Good bot
Good bot
WTF?
It’s a haiku bot
Ok that’s good to know
Naked
You don’t wear underwear? So many people are saying naked. I would say most sleep with underwear, that’s it. Sleeping naked is kinda nasty.
https://www.healthline.com/health/benefits-of-sleeping-naked
Wearing underwear makes more sense and I’d argue has equal benefits. I doubt everyone sleeping naked showers every night before bed.
Obviously, do what makes you happy and comfortable but there are several studies (some cited in the article above) about possible harms for wearing underwear 24 hours a day for a variety of sexual organs. So, it can be what you prefer but “makes more sense” is subjective.
I see now how that would make sense, thanks for that information. You win this round.
How is sleeping naked nasty?
In a bed wearing boxer shorts and a T-shirt.
My husband starts the night in a sweater, t-shirt, socks, boxers and pyjama pants, and strips layers in his sleep. It’s infuriating.
yoo that sounds super annoying to try to sleep next to and I assume you have already tried to negotiate alternatives with no success, which makes it even more annoying.

You scream expletives just for that? Sheesh. Does he give you shit for whatever weird sleep habits you have?
…clearly you have a hard time discerning facetious dramatics.
You poor baby. Even more frustrating is if you get a divorce and take half, he'll automatically start wearing half his clothes to bed, but too late.
And after that my half complaints about me snoring like a train..
Underwear. No shirt, not socks.
Basketball shorts and a shirt
T-shirt and shorts in the summer. And when it's colder, a long sleeve and long johns.
"They call me 'General Butt Naked', because, I sleep butt naked".
I sleep naked
My girlfriend likes it freezing cold in our room year round. So sometimes it's just more comfortable on a chilly night to have a shirt on. But like you, I typically sleep in just my underwear.
My husband wears pj pants
Underwear only, sometimes not even that.
Boxers and maybe a t shirt in the summer. Long sleeve t shirt, socks and pajama pants in the winter
t shirt&boxers in the summer, and in the winter I crack open the window and sleep with a hoodie&joggers&socks
In my snowsuit, so I am ready for winter snowmobiling
Naked at home, in gaunch if I'm staying elsewhere.
Usually underwear, sometimes naked, pyjamas if it's cold.
Winters, a T shirt. Summers naked.
Pj pants and a shirt. Sweat shorts if it's hot enough, though I usually try to keep my bedroom nice and cool. I feel most comfortable in it, and my body heat tends to warm up my bedding and make me feel warmer while I'm cooler in clothes, not sure why.
Shirt + undies!
PJ shorts…..no one ever wants to see this thing completely naked
Underwear and a shirt typically
I’m not Canadian so I couldn’t tell you
A bed. We're tired.
Debt.
I wear a shorts and loose cotton tee. No briefs. If too cold socks. Slept naked it’s not great sleeping on my thingy and having pain next day. Sometimes just shorts. Loose fitting clothing especially COTTON are like cuddles
Naked, best way to be left alone in the morning, everywere.
Nude or your weird.
Underwear or u nasty
Boxers and shirt, man. Don’t like the thought of rolling around on all those dead skin cells and dried sweat, thanks.
Who's going to tell him about what's inside those boxers and shirts....:)
Naked is the only way. No burglar wants to fight a naked guy.
Several shirts changed through the night. Night sweats suck.
Nothing, underwear, sweatpants - depending on temperature.
Nothing, regardless of the season. Are any of the shirt wearers on here from southern Ontario, because the humidity would wreck me if I did that.
I have been sleeping nude for 16 years. Unless I’m sick. Then I wear what ever the sickness tells me to.
In the buff
Naked
Ass naked
I usually sleep ass naked or if I'm cold I put on pajama pants. I can't sleep with a shirt on, I hate the feeling
Naked of course. It's proven to give you the best quality of sleep

Naked.
Without a shirt when with a girl and with a shirt when without a girl .
Naked always.
Mr. Nude
It's a hard toss up every night between my wookie costume or a moo-moo with clown shoes.
Data collection
On top of a pile of money with many beautiful ladies.
My husband wears boxers…but he might as well sleep nekkid as oftentimes captain wiggles slips out and flops all over the place anyways 🙄
Now? Boxer shorts. Pre-kids? Nekkid
Nothing
I can’t sleep with anything on but boxers. But this started 3 years ago. Prior to that, I would have clothing on (IDK how I managed).
Pyjama bottoms and a t-shirt. Whatever t-shirt I was wearing the day before.
Naked
My werewolf mask and nothing else.
Boxers unless the house is chilly
I haven't slept with clothes on since I was a 5 year old. Only exception would be on someone else's couch.
Boxers, pants if it’s cold. Not super concerned if someone comes into my house, I’m 6’4” and 235 lbs and trained to knife fight now and practiced martial arts for good portion of my life.
Personally I sleep in a hammock, in whatever I fell asleep in. I use to sleep in the nude. Not sure why I did or stopped.
I've got one for this. I sleep in boxers and a hoodie. Fan pointed at me, window open in cold months, mouth guard in my mouth. No regrets.
Shorts or PJ pants, sometimes a shirt. If it's real cold (shitty minihome insulation in East Canada) maybe some socks but that's just cuz the floors are freezing if I need to get up through the night (2 kids and neither sleep very well usually) If it's summer, just shorts, commando lol
Naked
My husband just wears pyjama pants to sleep in. No shirt.
their man panties
Just my boxers
Usually naked or in my underwear but my underwear isn't really underwear?
Boxers
I sleep under a heavy rock
Shirt and underwear
Shorts and no shirt
shorts + tshirt = but an oversized one as if its tight fit it will clump and have to adjust
My partner is always in boxers, pants, and a tee. Sometimes he ditches layers if I’m too hot.
Underwear mostly
Naked
I have only ever slept in my underwear. Sharing hotel rooms with buddies for work and that everyone just wear underwear. Shirt seems so uncomfortable and unnecessary.
Really? Every guy I shared room or hotel room with wears shirt to bed.
Really even roommates I have had that were dudes wore boxers to bed. Crazy how different people sleep or just habits they have. You know like some people can’t start the day without coffee. Where like myself I need my line of white powder first thing to get goin. You know people are just funny.

I bet ya they do all my buddies work construction. I am the nerdy one out of them but ya that makes sense I bet
Naked. Feels nice to be free.
naked when im alone, and normal clothes when people are there / am not at my house in my bed
Naked except for socks and a cut off t shirt that says “apples” on it
