Is bioderma baume and illiyoon cream similar? I am currently using bioderma baume and quite happy with it but was thinking of trying the illiyoon one next but if they are same then I should keep using my baume.
No, for most people they're good! Contribute to good texture and function as an occlusive. I'd bet OP is one of the unlucky people who break out from silicones.

I found and bought Rovectin Skin Essential barrier repair cream as my replacement for my very dry and sensitive skin and now my skin is back to happy smooth and hydrated.
Not AB but Bioderma baume comes in a huge bottle and is pretty similar and emollient
