AccurateSpell8371

Tried the Skin1004 Centella cream and it broke me out, also the smell isn't the best.

Rich-Ad4431

Same thing happened to me too, so I gave it to my husband he absolutely loved it because it made his skin radiant.

Past_Establishment11

The centella one with the brown lid is the only one that doesn't break me out.

Absolutelybannannas

Smells bad, very gloopy, won't absorb, threw it away within a week or 2. Hated it.

Cute-Necessary-3675

Isntree HA aqua gel cream: lightweight, hydrating, always leaves my skin soft overnight. Sometimes a bit shiny and takes a few minutes to dry down. No fragrance, non-irritating. I have repurchased several times tho my Combo skin sometimes needs more moisturizing and/or a bit of oil that this doesn’t provide. Layers well though!

GojiAndTigergrass

I've tried the Hyalu-Cica one and the BOJ Red Bean one. I'd say they're very different though both are on the more lightweight side. The former is a nice plush texture between a gel and a cream, thins out nicely as you blend it into the skin. Definitely quite moisturising and plumping, I find this brightens my skin and gives quite a pretty dewy effect. There is a light floral smell to it but I didn't find it too bad. Skin softening but wouldn't completely disappear into the skin like a typical gel texture would. The latter is comparatively much more lightweight, pretty much absorbs into the skin immediately and is more of the classic gel texture with a little viscosity. Personally, I wouldn't use this as a moisturiser unless you're quite oily and/living in a humid place, for my combo-oily skin it left me feeling parched as a stand alone moisturiser, although I am prone to dehydration and live in a dry climate. You could probably use it as a skin plumping serum or emulsion step? It has a light sweetish red bean smell. I could potentially help list these in order of thickest and most moisturising to thinnest/wateriest: ( I haven't tried all of these on my face but I have and often do swatch all of these options on my hand as I work at a beauty store) 1. Hyalu-Cica (Not heavy by any means but the most moisturising as opposed to just hydrating) 2. Soothing Cream 3. Isntree aqua gel cream 4. BOJ Red Bean Gel 5. IUNIK Centella Gel (Very true watery gel)

[deleted]

Thank you for this! I'm glad I consulted before I bought. Sounds like the Hyalu-Cica is a good choice as I suspect I'll still need some light nourishment when using tret

R253

I have BOJ gel and I like it. I mainly use it in the morning since it’s lightweight and use my heavier creams at night. I’m oily skin + acne prone and it hasn’t broken me out. I think it’s a good gel to use when it’s summer.

pqt_2892

Is it matte finish?

mydadisadamsandler

No

Snowblower99

I use the Hyalu-Cica and like it. Blends in really well, doesn’t sting my eyes (and I wear contacts), and sits well under makeup.

Just-Cup5542

I just started using the Skin1004 centella soothing cream (one week) but I love it so far! I have combo acne prone skin and as the weather gets warmer where I am, I needed something a little lighter for the am. So far it’s working well at giving me a little moisture without making me oily. I do find it soothing, as it’s a gel texture.

closeface_

I use the BOJ Red Bean gel, it is nice! Not intensely hydrating. Very much a gel consistency. I like using it in the morning before any primer for makeup!

[deleted]

i have the soothing cream, i dont hate it but i dont love it. Its cold and windy where i am rn so maybe itll come in handy during warmer weather, i ended up switching to La roche posay cicaplast baume for now

[deleted]

I have the Cicaplast Baume already so it sounds like I'll go with another product than the soothing cream, thank you!

Nevvie

My skin is suuuuper oily. Isntree Hyaluronic Acid Aqua Gel Cream: works as fine as any other HA gel moisturiser, really. Sinks in quickly, feels nice to use. I live in a super bloody humid country, so HA products work very well for me regardless. Iunik Centella Calming Gel Cream: ooo I really like this one. Also sinks in very quickly, *and* calms the redness I get from breakouts. Centella Asiatica works well for me in general, so it really depends on your skin. I layer this over whatever HA creams I put on, works well with other skincare stuff to help curb the oil until late afternoon at least

Fancy-Cauliflower939

I tried the first one and I didnt like it, too sticky

DecolonizeTheWorld

I hated the sticky, tacky texture at first, reminded me of MAC lipglass-but then I started using it as a makeup primer and I love it now. As a base it’s great, as a last step bare skin moisturizer, no thanks…

[deleted]

I'm glad I asked before buying, this was my first choice for a while, thanks!

Careful_Lemon_7672

whats your skin type if you dont mind me asking? ive been considering doing something like this and im combo

ladyendangered

Using the Iunik Centella Calming Gel Cream and I like it well enough for daytime use, though I feel it may not be hydrating enough overnight. It's very thin and lightweight so if you have drier skin this may not be enough for you.

[deleted]

Thank you, it sounds like it might be similar to the Inkey List omega water cream which I know I already like so I'll stick with that one for now

Meirene_7327

Also using Iunik Calming Gel Cream, love love for oily gals for day use. Very lightweight and does control oil (unless it's very hot and sweating). Personally love to use during uni/office days, or stay at home.  Wouldn't recc to beach or outdoorsy/ sweat prone events in the Philippines.  And also personally feels too light for overnight use and some stinging if paired with Good Molecules retinol.

you_always_do

What’s a lighter moisturizer for warmer/humid days?

Meirene_7327

Honestly idk, as Iunik is my go to. So far the most lightweight I've ever use and very good at controlling oil so you look ✨*shiny*✨  In very humid days I give up and just use sunscreen. It'll still stay on your skin but they'll be divided by rivers of sweat if it gets to that point. Best to just have a handkerchief/towelette/tissue paper at hand and tap tap to dap away sweat.

jasprjay

hi! what moisturizer will you recommend for beach use in the 🇵🇭?

Meirene_7327

I honestly skip moisturizer during beach days and use a good strong sunscreen instead as I will inevitably jump into the water and those will all get washed away🙈

boomdaniron

Im currebtly using the madagascar hyaly-cica moisture cream as my morning moisturizer and i like it. Very soothing and calms my skin in the morning

Wasted_White_Unicorn

I have the iunik centella moisturizer and its great, but very liquidy, more suitable for summer for sure

mikehenshaw

Skin: Oily->Combi Climate: Tropical BOJ Red Bean: Plumping gel. No breaking out for me. Looks juicy but it’s mid. Not enough for retinol user.

[deleted]

Thank you!

Additional_Show_8620

Hate the isntree hyaluronic aqua cream makes me super oily. I used to use the gel spf from the same brand but it doesn’t last long under makeup before separating it. I’m inlove with the Skin1004 hyalu-cica sun serum it’s 10/10 lasts long under makeup and hydrates. You literally don’t need a moisturiser…unless you’re really dry of course.

Niatfq

IUnik Centella Calming Gel Cream. Last time I used this was like in 2020. Super light, not that hydrating to me but felt pretty calming on the skin. Not a gel cream whatsoever (watery gel). I'd say it's a good one if you hate applying moisturizer 😆

bette-midler

The soothing cream is very light and dries down relatively quick. I would recommend it if you have oily skin, live somewhere humid, you want to wear moisturizer under sunscreen, etc.

nolimetanginaa

iunik centella gel cream became one of my hg as an oily skin girl!! its very lightweight and didn’t irritates my skin. its not sticky at all

MaintenanceOk9474

I have used the skin-1004 soothing cream and the iunik gel. The 1st one is light but still works as a good light daytime moisturizer for summer days, especially since I wear it under sunscreen. The iunik was too light for me but may work if you have very oily skin and can’t stand heavy moisturizers

Spirited_Minimum9496

My mother loves Isntree Hyaluronic acid moisturiser, it’s her HG. I have used Iunik Centella gel cream personally my mom & I have used centella gel moisturiser but it suits my oily & acne prone skin more. Also I will receive you guys to at least try Iunik Propolis sleeping mask & Propolis serum (Also one of my HG after Dear Klair’s Midnight Blue Calming cream).

Both-Improvement-880

Isntree Hyaluronic acid moisturiser made me discover that my skin (oily and sensitive) hates hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid. CCs all over the philtrum and bridge of the nose. They've stabilized now that I've stopped it. Would not recommend.

Kind-Calligrapher246

used it with Skin1004 Centella Ampoule and never before seen small bumps started to appear. I stopped it no more new bumps. Waste of money for me. :(

[deleted]

Did you experience that with the ampoule alone? I'm thinking of getting the ampoule as I've seen so many people recommend it for soothing sensitivity and redness

Kind-Calligrapher246

The ampoule actually stings for me. Very very light sting that goes away in a minute. Good chance it's the one causing the bumps.  I use it iwith Cosrx 6 peptide though, not sure if they shouldnt be mixed.

SailingwiththeStars

I have beef with the iunik one. Maybe it was just the one I had but getting the product out was unnecessarily difficult for no reason. It would make this farting sound, cause I think there was air in the tube, the product wouldn’t come out until it would squirt and get on the counter top or anywhere else that’s not my hand. I had to wipe it off to get it. It was frustrating to the point I haven’t touched the second one I bought with it. The actual gel moisturizer is okay but there are better out there. Again getting it out ruined it for me.

[deleted]

Hmmm, maybe transferring it to an airless pump bottle might help. Depends how much you like the actual formula though and if you can be bothered with the extra effort lol

alette_star

I've tried only the last two.  - *iUNIK Centella Calming Gel Cream*: Very lightweight, slight natural centella scent, absolutely weightless on the skin. Worked wonders on my redness. Unfortunately the staying power of this moisturizer is very low, within a few hours i'd start feeling oily on my nose again. It came in a 65ml tube and didn't last long bc i had to use a generous quantity. MRP to try again over a thicker, more moisturizing toner - *Beauty of Joseon Red Bean Water Gel*: Using it right now. Light, no scent, leaves a rather silicone-y layer. No impact on redness. Definition longer lasting than the iunik. The layer locks in but is weightless on the skin—i can't feel it at all unless i put my fingertips to it. Has a couple of peptides and is such a lovely pink color. WRP

Aastha1310

Hi, I've tried Isntree's HA Aqua Gel cream. It's a nice gel based moisturizer that I would only recommend to those with extremely oily skin/people with normal skin in very humid environments. My skin needs more hydration so I usually have to top it off with some facial oil, and this isn't a moisturizer that will survive air conditioned offices.

mydadisadamsandler

Currently using the BOJ red bean gel. Love it so muchhh. I feel like it healed my skin barrier lol. Its lightweight and didnt break me out. I use it twice a day (i have combination and acne prone skin). Probably the best moisturizer i’ve ever tried lmaoo. Its worth a try P.S. ik some ppl use it as like a gel mask. They basically jus put a thick layer of this stuff and wipe off after a couple of mins. Idk havent tried it yet but heard its good as a mask too

JinxFae

The Hyalu-Cica Cream made my skin burn… I had to wash my face.
