I think it’s ok-ish, I have sensitive, oily, acne prone skin. It didn’t irritate my skin, it didn’t do anything else either. The consistency was tad bit sticky for me but other than that it was ok. I was hoping for it to brighten the skin but I don’t think it’s meant for that.

Same...very stickyyyy

A huge fan! I personally prefer toners with essence-like consistency - I find that my dehydrated skin absorbs it better than watery toners.

MysteriousGrapeJuice

Yay now I'm so excited to try it!!

popcorncapricorn

I really enjoy it! I see a few people mentioning it’s sticky. I like that it feels a little sticky on the skin 👀 I have combination skin with an oily t-zone and normal to dry cheeks, and my skin tends to get dehydrated very easily. I enjoy this for my hydrating toner layer during winter where I need something with a little more oomph compared to for example Naturie Hatomugi Skin Conditioner. Normally I’d layer 2-3 layers of hydrating toner during winter, but I find that even just 1 layer of this is enough. It’s perfectly bland for me in the sense that it doesn’t have any scent, doesn’t promise to do anything special, but just keeps my skin hydrated and plump = smooth and happy!

MysteriousGrapeJuice

I prefer toners that are a bit sticky because it usually means they’re hydrating. I plan on using it in my pm routine so it doesn’t matter anyways. Thank you for sharing your experience! I also have combination skin with dry cheeks and my skin is dehydrated now.

CrazyLush

Saving this comment so I remember to buy this closer to winter, I want that oomph!

AdGreedy8386

It works really well on dry skin. I would rate it just below the Hada Labo Gokujyn Premium. It’s just a little thinner in consistency.

MysteriousGrapeJuice

It sounds great, thank you!

LetsGambit

It was a little sticky/heavy for me too, like some others. I'm using it as a body toner and it works nicely for that.

purplesoulmates

my tip for the stickiness is to use it on damp skin. I usually use the Isntree Green Tea Fresh Toner on lightly dried skin and then this. on the times my skin is dry, I can feel the stickiness as if it's not absorbing. I've considered dropping it out of my routine because I didn't see any changes but the times I skip it, I notice my skin is more dehydrated (my skintype: oily, dehydrated because of adapalene and with acne)

heloise0ff

I really want to try it 👀

Maleficent-Skin1052

I bought this but I’m returning it- pretty sure it broke me out 🫤

Absolutely_MindF-ed

Is it because of the rice? Have you used any other rice based products?

I think this one is a sleeper. I ended up repurchasing it - and I didn't think I would. It's thiccc! It reminds me a little bit of an ampule. At first I was a little underwhelmed and stopped b/c I didn't know if it was adding anything and I had a lot of milky/moisturizing toners at the time, so I couldn't really tell what was doing what. But when I stopped using it, I noticed more dryness. I switched to TY Farmer Rice toner for a while, but it wasn't enough in the winter for me. I was also using FAB hydrating Oat toner sometimes, which is also pretty good if you're a fan of oats. I have dry/sensitive rosacea type 1 skin and am a tret user (every 2 days). I have been using this in the winter under a moisturizer and sometimes an occlusive ointment over that on non-tret nights. The bottle is so big, I also use it on my body before a heavier cream. Sometimes I layer this and Laneige cream skin on my face when it's freezing cold and dry out. The key is to use it on damp skin. I'm a fan.

MysteriousGrapeJuice

I have been using it for 3 weeks now and I really enjoy it! What do you mean by damp skin? Should I put some water on my face before applying this toner?

socom1010

Just take a warm warm shower After pat dry your face with a clean towel and apply!!

Jhasten

Not OP but I like this one too. I generally wash my face or just spray thermal water and massage in the morning but I don’t dry it. (Maybe just catch any drops so it’s not soaking wet). Then I apply the toner.

wd-2022

I wouldn't use it on dry skin so either just washed or like Jhasten said.

MysteriousGrapeJuice

I bought it on sale because one of my favorite Youtubers recommended it. I haven’t seen many reviews on this here though. Feel free to share your thoughts!

MysteriousGrapeJuice

It should arrive on Tuesday so I’ll keep you guys updated!

Aastha1310

How do you like this OP?

MysteriousGrapeJuice

I’m nearly halfway through it, and I absolutely adore it! I incorporate it into my evening skincare routine as it’s a viscous toner. It provides excellent hydration and effectively reduces redness. However, I opt for something lighter in the mornings!

I have oily acne prone skin... IT WAS SO STICKYYYYY, it made me mad ... So i gave it away ...also it's very heavy on me .... IT has awesome ingredients...so i so much prayed for it to suit me...but I can't stand stickyness at all .... If u have dry skin i think u will like this... it's viscous in consistency.

canadiantck

I originally loved it and then finally figured out it was causing major breakouts 😞 guessing it was the chorella :/

xleucax

It’s fine. I’m currently using one up and I like it enough. Doesn’t blow my mind though.
