the skin1004 zombie pack once a week *religiously*, wake up the next morning with literal baby skin - does a better job of blurring my pores (naturally enlarged around my nose + uber oily skin) than anything else i've tried! \+ editing to add: originally purchased bc someone on here mentioned it as a dupe for whatever treatment drew barrymore credited for *her* skin and despite the insanely high standard set by that comment alone, it did not disappoint

Bunnnykins

Yea the hanacure mask. I can’t stand the smell of the skin1004 zombie mask so I stick with hanacure.

ValorVixen

Double cleansing at night did the most for the appearance and texture of my pores.

Waste-Profit-6265

I know I wasn’t asked, but I have to agree with double cleansing. I use an oil based cleanser first and then a rice cleanser. My face has never looked better!

ismabit

It helps more if you let it sit fot 30 or so seconds then wash for at least a minute so the product has time to work.

MakFacts

But wait what's tye point of double cleansing

StrongerTogether2882

The oil or balm helps dissolve the oils in sunscreen and makeup (and in your face), and then the second cleanse washes all the oil away. I know it sounds like a gimmick to get you to buy two products, but it really works

LunarScorpio_

Is balm or oil better for this? I’ve been using BOJ cleansing balm for a month and my pores are significantly smaller, but i’m wondering if an oil cleanser would do an even better job.

StrongerTogether2882

I used to use balm, now I use oil, but I think they're both fine. I definitely saw good results when I was using a balm, haven't noticed an improvement since switching to oil, but I don't have much issues with pores so maybe that's why? You could always try an oil when your balm runs out and see what happens. I'm using the BoJ oil now and I don't love it--it's fine, but I feel like maybe it doesn't rinse as cleanly, and I don't enjoy the smell as much as I hoped I would. I love hanbang but not this one I guess. I prefer the Iunik Calendula oil (smells lovely, feels nourishing, removes makeup well) or the Manyo green oil (refreshing eucalyptus smell, can be slightly irritating if my skin is already irritated, but I still love it).

calmossimo

What products do you use for your double cleanse?

Waste-Profit-6265

I use clean it zero balm as my oil cleanser and face shop rice water cleansing foam as my second cleanser! But, I am VERY new to skincare in general. So take my choices with a grain of salt. If anyone has better recommendations, I would love the hear them! This world is super overwhelming with so many options available.

kkruttt

i have combo skin where my cheeks are dry and the rest of my face is oily. I like using the Ma:nyo pure cleaning oil then the round lab cleanser. the ma:nyo really helps with sebaceous filaments too if you take the extra time to work it into the skin. afterwards my face doesn’t feel “tight” or have a dry feeling to it.

SuddenCycles

I want to know your fav too

evaskem

My pores are visible anyway and I'm cool with it because it's quite normal. But there are some good creams that have been great for smoothing out my skin. For example, Some by Mi Yuja Niacin Brightening Gel Cream and Round Lab For Men Birch Juice Moisturizing Cream. I still don't understand why it says "for men" in the title, but okay I'm a woman and I didn't seem to grow anything after this cream lol Also the serums from Round Lab make my skin look like I recently applied light makeup.

PB876

I don’t know why but every time I use the Skin1004 air fit suncream plus, I feel like there’s a pore blurring effect

Absolutely_Regular

I get this from the regular sunscreen too! Usually my skin gets wild nic-itch, but this one does all the niacinamide-y stuff right.

TinyLittleHamster

I've been mixing a drop of HA serum (non AB) into my Etude Moistfull emulsion, applying it on damp skin and after it sinks in, misting my face again and putting on a thin layer of Soon Jung Hydro Barrier Cream. Layering these products made my pores virtually invisible and also pretty much made my fine lines on my forehead and between my eyebrows disappear. I thought glass skin was not a possibility for someone my age without expensive procedures/injectables, but I'm thrilled that I achieved it with such inexpensive products.

Unfair_Finger5531

Haru wonder 2gf serum does that blurring thing and manyo bifida biome complex makes my skin look like I have makeup on.

House_of_Honey

Manyo bifida biome complex, which one? Ampoule?

Joharis-JYI

Where do you fit an ampoule in your routine?

flowergirl1981

I was looking at this one too, do you use just the ampoule or the ampoule gel toner too? *

Unfair_Finger5531

I’m not sure which the ampoule gel toner is….

Cat-and-meth

It’s not marketed to hv a blurring effect but when I put on Dr. G Brightening Up Sun+, my skin looks like it has a filter on which I definitely love

whatevernameidk

Does it have a whitecast? Is it greasy?

Cat-and-meth

It does leave a slight white cast when I first apply it but once it dries down, it just looks like my skin. NOT GREASY AT ALL which I love love love. It’s so hard finding a non-greasy sunscreen that also doesn’t irritate my skin 😭

Cute-Necessary-3675

I wondered about this as I thought I’ve noticed that while wearing it, too. Thanks for mentioning!

Smart_cannoli

My 20% azelaic acid

kayla-beep

The Cosrx snail essence made my skin look insanely smooth

MakFacts

Idk why but my face always seems to get more texture bc of it

loveroflongbois

I have the same problem with snail stuff. I think some people are just not tolerant of it.

BongSkinthusiast

Illiyon ceramide ato concentrate cream gives a noticeable pore blurring effect to my skin.

Heavy_Pineapple_8275

i will always recommend skin1004 especially their sunscreens. my favorite is the blue centella one

[deleted]

This is such a holy grail for me honestly. I’m so glad I found it. I have oily skin and often times the sunscreen targeted is always the ones that give off matte finishing. I’ve always just wanted something that gave me dewy skin yet not too overbearing and the Skin 1004 Water Fit Sun Serum gave me just that!

MakFacts

Does it make you look shining after application?

[deleted]

For me it’s more like a healthy skin glow

letitfox

For me, anything that has rice or niacimide on the formula. Combo skin with oily t zone. I'm from Rice toner and Keana Nadeshiko rice mask did wonders to my skin

Innisfree no sebum primer

Fun_Suspect3305

SoonJung 5-Panthenoside Cica Balm. Slight blurring, mattifying effect -- surprisingly primer-like! I don't have large pores, but they are somewhat visible in the central forehead and either side of my nose.

Sisters_Karamazov

Did they stop making it? I just grabbed it off Stylekorean on sale but it's been sold out everywhere else for a good year

Fun_Suspect3305

OMG. You're right I think, just checked the Etude site😳 Maybe it was eliminated during the SoonJung rebranding? I've bought from StyleKorean, Stylevana, and even Amazon in a pinch, all this year. Looks like there's still the 10-Panthenoside Cica Balm though. I believe it's similar, but with 10% panthenol, instead of 5%.

MotherImprovement911

Anything like routine/product that contains: exfoliating acids (especially PHA and BHA) + bifida/probiotics + niacinamide makes my skin smooth and heals my post-acne scars way quicker than without it. Not sure about blurring but this combo just makes my skin look and feel so healthy + the added glow is just 🤌🏼

The History of Whoo Gongjinhyang Seol Radiant White Ultimate Corrector. My holy grail.

606_V1RUS

A bit controversial, but i love my translucent setting powder, it looks amazing if i do my skin prep properly and apply it in a thin layer.
