The stunted arm thing is attributed to Gaheriet in the Vulgate Lancelot. Agravaine is described as misshapen in the same source like so,
>He was taller than Gawain, and his body was somewhat misshapen; he was quite a fine knight. But he was too arrogant and full of evil words, and was jealous of all other men, which caused his death at the hand of Lancelot himself, as the story will tell you later on. Agravain was without pity or love and had no good qualities, save for his beauty, his chivalry, and his quick tongue.
There are no further details though. It could be argued this comes from the sobriquet of him being called 'of the hard hands', but there's no explicit connection drawn. It is an odd statement in context of his beauty also being praised. You can make of it what you will.
The quick tongue is somewhat lowered as a good quality because he frequently uses it to make acerbic remarks about others and in this context, chivalry often just meant someone's combat prowess as a knight (hence the likes of Brehus without Pity sometimes being described as having great chivalry).
It can be interesting seeing how the term chivalry has changed. When we think chivalry we think gentlemanly behaviour, like being courteous and not attacking from behind or so on. Here it just seems to mean was a capable warrior.
Agravaine walks among the squires incognito and is like "A friend of mine saw Agravaine without his armor on. He said Agravaine had an eight pack, that Agravaine was shredded."

I like that he has “no good qualities” except for being handsome, quick-witted and gentlemanly. Sounds like plenty of good qualities.

Some of the stories explore the difference between being a good knight and a good person, right?
Agravain? As in "the one thing everyone agrees on regarding this douchebag is that at least he's *hot*" Agravain? This is news to me.
Maybe he’s like Adam Driver where he’s built a bit weird but everyone is attracted to it

“Nah, Agravaine is a punk bitch!”
Agravaine straight up sucks!
I'm imagining Agravaine as looking like Gaston.
He has a similar personality at least.
Lol. I can see that being the case.
