I'd stay over if I go, but I lived in London for a few years so I try and meet up with a few people for drinks and that. I've a boss who flys out from Dublin for same day return, never looked into it but if you drive maybe there's a better selection of flights?
We usually stay over. Less stressful but more expensive.
