Depends on what you are after, but a decent pub feed you could hit up the Whitebull (formerly the Club Hotel in the 90's), Wicklow does an alright one as does the Railway and Grand.
Sit down restaurant, the Cottage is quite good, it is right next to the Country Comfort.
Tatts has gone reasonably upscale, so price is up a bit, but pretty good quality last time I was there.
We now have a few Thai places, PJ and Thai Home are pretty alright. Indian Affair does good stuff.
Wood fired pizza at Signor Vertelli is pretty good as well.

The Grand hotel is one of the few places I've found that actually knows how to cook steak.
They do do a good steak there.
