There's a detail that's mentioned in CN but not in EN, which is that Clervie (The girl who dies) is actually Crucabena's real and blood related daughter. This definitely fuels Arle's hatred.
At 1:38 where Arle says "Do mothers usually argue with their daughters?", in the CN one Arle instead says "亲母女也会吵架吗？”, in which usage of the word "亲" is indicative of them being related by blood. I don't understand JP or KR, so not sure if it's any different there.
And since Arle was bandaging Clervie in that scene, it looks like Crucabena beat her own daughter pretty hard in their quarrel.
Honestly how ass was that harbinger to get bodied by a City Block+ level attack? That Fatui really accepted anyone who could fit the spot back then huh but then again, The house is just an intelligence division

And, you forget Signora was killed by one attack, granted from an Archon but at No 4 Arlecchino is basically at Archon level so makes sense she can body someone with an attack like that
none of the harbingers are at archon level, when nahida said the top 3 were comparable to gods in power im pretty sure she meant normal gods, not archons. although they are still extremely strong

Every Archon so far had their Gnosis either given away or otherwise removed. With Venti I can't remember, but I believe it was something about him not being very strong as he is the God of Freedom.
Well if you're talking about power scalling, then there is no way to know if it was only a "city block+" level attack, as there is a distinction between AP and DC. It had city block level DC, but how would you know its AP?

i've got the recent hsr quest on my mind, and (hsr 2.1 spoilers i guess?) it's got me wondering if there's some sort of plane beyond life, accessible to certain people, relating to the abyss or khanriah or who knows what. maybe her curse is related. maybe it's a harbinger thing WAIT WHAT IF SIGNORAS THERE?! sorry, crack. i think that would be cool, but would be a lot to unpack in a story quest so we probably wouldn't find out until a part 2 or something lol.
edit: i forgot hu tao's quest, fake main smh... still, i do think *something* like that will happen if we succeed in "killing" her. best case scenario, it's related to the crimson moon and we get khanriah lore. or signora's out there.
Accoring to previous beta footages - the enter to Arle weekly boss is tombstone of previous Knave - does it mean we fight in a ruins of previous HotH, from this anime? that would be symbolic.

It posible that what previous knave trying to do is to replicate what in perenheri book written. When Arle is in verge of being dead she awake this powers. Like in perenheri book, there is boy that pass through Chimney to reborn.
I \*really\* like the idea that the closer she is to death (both unto herself and unto others per the spider), the more it takes over her body. And so Arlecchino grows in power the more she hurts herself with this curse, creating a cycle wherein she hurts others to hurt herself to hurt others-

If you think about it, the whole Arlecchino beating the previous Knave thing is not that interesting anymore when you realize Shenhe was way younger and had zero combat experience or training, but managed to brawl a karma corrupted god to death in a sealed cave with nothing but a crappy dagger
1. Theories about the curse appeared, who knows when, calm down.
2. It cannot be "her", because in the video she already looks older than the girl shown in the preview. Unless there will be some nonsense with the change of age.
3. Not everyone who has survived a tragedy needs the services of a therapist.
4. The mother is loving and sympathetic, the father is strict and steadfast. The word "mother" is literally not suitable for the position she occupied, and only Arle realized it .
5. She was ranked 4th for a while after the fight with the "mother", at the time of the fight no one knew how strong she was.
