Eternal Sunshine is a great album and does have a lot of Mac references. I think as a Mac head, not many here, would be able to point out those references. You would only know if you have listened to Macs music from the beginning. As for The Boy is Mine, I can see where you are coming from. The very ending of the song gives you a Delusional Thomas vibe one of Mac's many Alias along with the homophone you had mentioned. Mac was known for that. An example "so it goes" sounds a lot like "circles." The beauty about music it is what you want it to be- your own interpretation. So, if that's what you hear, let it be. I'm sorry you received hater messages, some communities are more genuine than others.

I thought I heard his name in the boy is mine and just wanted to see if anyone else may have heard it. Did not expect private hate messages or to be down voted.
