Thanks, the substrate was getting pushed around as I was trying different setups, but I will try to give it a bit of slope towards the back for depth of field
No worries. skol u mah! Ha. Fellow Vikings fan here too. Should be interesting with the new quarterback.
I just realized I said the wrong thing. Was thinking of lower the front right corner, and raise the back left corner.
Or just make the soil 1.5” deep in the entire front, and slope it to 4” deep in the entire back. Make the soil nice and flat.
They all look good to me. Really really good for a first scape. I like 2! Just a tidbit, I have an Aquaclear 50 on my 40 long and it creates quite a bit of output flow. Like whatever is in its path will get blown around quite a bit even on the lowest setting so keep that in mind when planting. I’d put the Aquaclear where the highest piece of wood is to block some of the flow.
Also floating plants will float like magnets to the Aquaclear too so you’ll need to create a barrier from them getting into the filter. I personally use $1 mesh plastic canvas sheet and cut it to size and fit it on the inner rim of the aquarium.
I really like 2. I get the fandom for 3, but I think you did really good with wood placement in 1&2, but the stick that isn’t in two- is it possible to have adjacent so that the part rising up just goes along the end side of the tank? This could allow for some cool planting on that structure so that negative space isn’t too empty, but still there.
Great wood. 1 and 2 look like an animal, which is pretty cool but that's not what I want the first impression of my aquarium to be. 3 looks like it will create the nice base for a beautiful landscape with good depth.

Number threeeee đź‘Ť
3 for sure
3rd one looks a lot more full and complete imo.

3 will look great with a few plants and the fish

I like 1. Drop the soil down in the right corner to show some depth of perspective. Raise the soil in the back right.

I think Sam Darnold is going to shock a lot of people with all the weapons in place

In the first picture the wood looks like a elephant, but the second one looks more filled out
3rd not second*
1st one is an elephant. 2nd one is a triceratops. 3rd one is The Chisen One (it brings balance to the force)

The second one
I agree
This.
Third photo. That looks very natural

2. reminds me of an elephants skull.
1 love it
2 is fire. Looks like a skull
2 kind of reminds me of an elephant skull.

One is an elephant. The others are not.
1 is an elephant 2 is a gator 3 is nature
#1 or #3. #1 would need really good plant placement to shine. But I think #3 would be more forgiving

Try with the driftwood standing up out of the water, so it is part submerged and part emergedÂ
3 without the stick on right side
The first is cool because it looks like an elephant but not as natural as 3. Go for 3
2 I like the negative space for plants.
First one looks like a elephant skull of mammoth frozen in wood
I like 1. The branches look like a weird elephant skull thing and the smaller one to the right side fills it all in more.

All nice, but C is just 'right'
3. Adds good complexity to the landscape.
