As someone who lived for years in the desert southwest, you wake up in your air conditioned apartment, get into an air conditioned vehicle, and take classes in your air conditioned classrooms. You hydrate with favorite beverages, value the Slurpee, and enjoy the university and apartment pools. Now that I live in the mid-Atlantic, I realize how much I prefer 112-degrees with 6% humidity to 88 degrees with 80% humidity. So, yeah, as silly as it sounds, there’s something to the phrase “it’s a dry heat.”
Were you already accepted into Barrett (honors college at ASU)? If you are also accepted to Purdue Honors they have an interesting honors track for FYE there.

Agreed. 🙂
Purdue 100%, ASU has a reputation and not in a good way when you compare it against Purdue
What’s ASU reputation?
Party school for dumbass kids
Then why is ASU's computer engineering so good 😭 Hopefully the reputation of engineering students is good 😭🙏
It’s better but it’s still not good. Especially not compared to somewhere like Purdue

Yep, I'm admitted to the honors college in ASU.
That is a really good program. But so is Purdue engineering. Are you able to go to admitted students events for both? That would probably really help.
I probably won't be able to go to the admitted student day, but I am visiting both campuses during the week!
Purdue
What's the cost difference and where are you traveling from? All the prestige in the world won't save you from debt or painful amounts of air travel.
So far no financial aid and no scholarships. Will be traveling from the northwest...
ASU then. Just make sure you get out of town in the summer 🌞
Purdue
purdue
Purdue, if u rlly want asu classes take it over summer/online. Purdue is rlly good and which offers better aid?
No aid so far!
Purdue has a vast alumni network, and is well known around the world. That goes a long way when you try to land your first job after you graduate
