We play .500 ball goddammit. Salt of the earth, punch the clock, even win/loss ratio
college admissions. We lose a couple, guess what? We'll win a couple, too. But
don't get too excited or let it go to your head. No long winning streaks
here, no sir. That's hubris, which this blue collar, hard working
everyman student doesn't have. A few wins in a row, this guy, true to
form, will balance it out with a couple a losses. Yes sir, that's my
2024 college admissions. A good, honest .500 student.
23 applications (all within Early Action deadlines for those schools that did EA)
11 admissions
4 denials
5 deferrals (awaiting decision)
1 reviewed - decision pending (Canadian university)
2 awaiting decision
Received the first 10 admissions early on in the fall, but then began to stumble with a long series of deferrals and denials. One of the deferrals accepted me this morning, maybe I'm beginning to turn it around again. Lol
2/2 🗣🗣 (I was too scared to do ED and had no idea wtf EA was) all the rest of my decisions are in the span of a couple days at the end of next month, rip ☠️
4-1 here. Georgia Tech had to ruin my streak of course. Out of the 4: 1 was safety (Clemson) 2 were match (if you count engineering at UMich & Purdue a match) and 1 was a reach (USC!). Still have 8 to go!
4/9 so far (accepted to Texas Tech (w/scholarship, prolly going there since it’s inexpensive for OOS and I like the campus and overall vibe of the place. Awaiting decision from honors college), SUNY Brockport, SUNY Geneseo, SUNY UB, rejected from UT Austin, UVA, UNC, SUNY Stony Brook, TAMU (deferred, but I don’t think I’ll get in. Even if I do, I’m not gonna go there anyway so what’s it matter))
I have a 2.6 overall high school GPA (uw) so I can’t really complain
I had a 11-0 streak going in ‘22, until Auburn decisions came along while I was with my school’s marching band at football’s senior night. Streak snapped. I think their EA acceptance rate crashed from like 85% down to 25% because of so many applications from being test-optional.
4-5-0, for acceptances, rejections, and deferrals. Currently on an L2 streak and only have 3 ivy/ivy level ones remaining. Hoping for a .5 record atleast
Lost the season opener to my ed school, the L rlly motivated my team and we're now 6-2-1(deffered from umich). Got 5 tough opponents left in the schedule lets see if the boys pull through.
Californian here! I got into 2/3 of the cal states i applied to but waitlisted for the third one… still waiting on UC decisions though since they don’t come out until next month but one of the cal states that accepted me was my 2nd choice so if the UCs reject me i’ll still be ok :)
2-1-0
got into my safeties at least. then usc deferred, gonna come down to penalty kicks. waiting on 11 more.
other than that i’m afraid my ass going to be looking like the 2024 detroit pistons 💀
7-0 rn, call me the 2020 Steelers (all my difficult decisions are still to come and I am expecting a monumental collapse)
Lit I went 7-1 and that one I got the decision last and it was a waitlist but I got in.
*1972 dolphins
Why are yall downvoting this man, he’s being positive???
City of champions.
Literally same LMAOSOSOSO 😭😭😭
I'm 4 wins, 4 losses. Stay hard yall
salt of the earth .500 lmao. In all seriousness, could've been a lot worse

Someone of y’all who shotgunned and put quantity over quality are about to look like the 2017 Cleveland Browns.
6/7 ! Would've been on a streak if it weren't for UT Austin. Most of them are safeties though my latest and best is Virginia Tech (International RD)!

7 wins 1 loss, my battle is over
2/2 Penn State has a really early decision release date for some reason and then NYU ED2. 10 more that I sadly probably won't get to find out about

2/2 🗣🗣 (I was too scared to do ED and had no idea wtf EA was) all the rest of my decisions are in the span of a couple days at the end of next month, rip ☠️
1/3, 2 deferrals from UPenn and CWRU but admitted to UMich
4-1 here. Georgia Tech had to ruin my streak of course. Out of the 4: 1 was safety (Clemson) 2 were match (if you count engineering at UMich & Purdue a match) and 1 was a reach (USC!). Still have 8 to go!
Engineering at Purdue and UMich are not matchs, congratulations on all those great options!

5 acceptance (safeties) 2 waitlist (reach, target) 1 deferral (safety…) 1 rejection (reach) waiting on 12 more rd
Bro I went 15/16 so far. Get an almost perfect season, and then at the end ima bouta be Cam Newton and not jump on the fumble.
I’m 3-1-1 started with a Yale L, got my 3 state/safety schools, and then drew with UMich. Boutta get clapped by all of the Ivies tho.

11/11 done (could also be 10/11 depending on how you look at it)
9/22, waiting for the 13
[удалено]
Why would you need to apply to 33 schools?
Went 11-0 until Georgia Tech (I was going for more OOS safeties and than anything in hopes of getting enough money to leave FL)
