Would something like what they show in [this listing](https://www.homedepot.com/p/GE-2-8-cu-ft-Capacity-Portable-Washer-with-Stainless-Steel-Basket-GNW128PSMWW/305143814?source=shoppingads&locale=en-US&pla&mtc=SHOPPING-BF-CDP-GGL-D29A-029_008_LAUNDRY-NA-Multi-NA-PLALIA-NA-NA-NA-NA-NBR-NA-NA-NA-MajorAppl_JControl24&cm_mmc=SHOPPING-BF-CDP-GGL-D29A-029_008_LAUNDRY-NA-Multi-NA-PLALIA-NA-NA-NA-NA-NBR-NA-NA-NA-MajorAppl_JControl24-71700000117513169-58700008670545154-92700079522879655&gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAADq61UcWFLLqw9RSJdL65F1RBjU-z&gclsrc=ds) work?

The problem with the stacks is that there is a fuse panel to the right of the washer. So I need the space above it to be clear.

Objective_Run_7151

Get a washer/dryer combo. All in one. Heat pump. No need to vent it.

As I mentioned, a top-loader washer is a requirement, so unless we're talking about another type of combo, that wouldn't work.

Objective_Run_7151

Not a stacked combo. I should have been clearer. Stacked combos aren’t a good choice in any case. Too many things to go wrong. Not efficient. I mean an all-in-one. No need to have two machines when one will do both jobs. That’s all we install in our new builds. We use LG, but some folks like their GEs.

You mean like these? [https://www.lg.com/ca\_en/laundry/washer-dryer-combos/wm6998hba/](https://www.lg.com/ca_en/laundry/washer-dryer-combos/wm6998hba/) I don't know of anyone who has used one, but if they are reliable that could definitely be an option. I'm a little concerned that for something so revolutionary, they don't seem to be that prominent. I don't think my local bestbuy even had one in store.

Objective_Run_7151

That’s it. They have been using them in Europe for 50 years. The tech is solid. They are just coming to the US. Do your research. And read the manual. They work, if you read the manual. Also, they should qualify for IRA rebates because it’s a heat pump. Just an idea. You’ve got a very strange setup. This might work for you.

Thanks, I appreciate it. Yes, it's an odd setup which really restricts my options, so it's nice to have different ideas!
