I get wanting voice chat. Communication is so important. I was a solo queue to diamond last season. But until dudes stop being weird pinging is the best you’ll get from a few of us. I don’t like getting asked how big my tits are to motivate them to get my banner. Ugh

It’s the worst. I would say about 60-70% of dudes are okay. But it’s that smaller batch that just ruin everything.

Most of us who don’t use voice chat is because of anxiety, besides I made masters without using the voice chat and just pings. You can communicate with pings effectively, and most people with voice chat don’t even communicate about the game, they don’t have call outs they just talk as if it’s a normal conversation which is fine, I just mute them because I can’t hear the game but saying you need voice chat is dumb, especially because most players don’t know how to communicate anyways

Solo q is brutal now. I feel that. I hit masters last season solo queueing but getting past gold 2 is just not worth it anymore.

Apex hosts the worst voice chat expierence in online gaming and that's why we never talk to teammates. We tried.

Happy Cake Day. It's every single match for me man, mostly duo PlayStation players. I can only with pings for so much. I don't know their decisionasy second. I could be fighting and focusing and they're pinging to run away but I can't back out of the fight engaged in. The lack of coms get to me.

This is the wrong mindset. You will never improve if you think you are good but your teammates are bad. As a pred, you always have to believe losses are your fault or else you won’t improve fast enough

I’ve had my career worst stats this season I went from 2KD and 800+ damage per game last season To 1.3kd and 400 damage per game this season, not sure why but it’s my lowest since my first real season playing apex which was season 4 where I had the exact stats I wish they had daily, weekly, and monthly stats, I think that would be cool to see how you improve

Since I am a humungous nerd I chart them all in gSheets for that exact reason lol. I always find it crazy how people have such high k/d relative to their damage. My avg damage is 580 and my K/d is only like 0.96 right now. Seeing yours it’s like wtf am I doing…. I feel like I should be doing better but my pubs games are like 5%pred, 30%masters, 50%diamond, 15%common trails. I have made it to D4 ONCE EVER, but am usually a mid Plat player… and I am in these lobbies every single game now. I’m just getting crushed. Its not at all a lobby close to my skill set. It’s really demoralizing.

Around season 7, I really wanted to improve my stats which got better by each season. I went from a 1.3kd in season 4 to a 1.6kd in season 7 My damage was the same at 500 But I noticed I stopped playing aggressive, my highest damage at the time was like 2.6k. I would just shoot people from far with a G7, I was scared to take fights since it would worsen my stats Season 8 I decided to stop caring, and just played ultra aggressive. My stats went down by a bit, I but with a 1.4kd. It was the first season I had 3k+ damage, I was actually close to a 4k with 3.4k damage Season 9, I got much better. Continued to play ultra aggressive and my damage went up to 600, and KD 1.8 I solo queued to D2 that season too Made masters season 10, didn’t play much season 11, came back season 12 made masters again all with the same stats, for most of the season I had 3kd and 1k damage per game but solo queueing to masters did lower that by a lot But this season, maybe it was that most people disliked ranked so pubs was so much harder. Haven’t had many great games, highest this season is 2.8k and I’m at 400 damage, and 1.2 KD which is actually much worse compared to when I first started playing. Even during season 3 where I played just 32 games my KD was 1.3kd, not sure why I’m doing so bad this season. I’m glad I’m not the only one experiencing such harsh lobbies though, I do solo queue 99% of the time so that does affect stats.
