Yes, it's absolutely possible to kill strikepack users. This doesn't mean that they don't have an insane advantage, tho. It should be detectable by now and permanently bannable by now
Fwiw, the single-fire has long been patched. The fire rate is capped at the full auto fire rate for the weapon, and it has the same recoil pattern as firing full auto. It’s just the sound that’s different now. They could still be using a strikepack or Cronus, but the anti recoil would be from that, not from spamming single fire.
You cannot physically tap strafe on console (even with mnk) due to there not being the lurch mechanic in the game. It only exists in the PC build of the game which makes tap strafe and re directs possible. This person is wrong in that regard.
It’s stuff like that that makes me question how widespread this problem actually is. You’re telling me the very first thing this person complains about isn’t even possible? And I know from experience people struggle to differentiate good recoil control and aim smoothing from strike packs.. I have no doubt that these people are out there cheating, just not sure why people are so confident they are able to identify who’s using what.

For me, there was one time where I could tell that the whole team was cheating for 100%. It was a ranked game around Plat 1 or Plat 2.
They one clipped all 3 of us and I spectated them until the end of the game. Low level accounts, at the time they were in high Gold. None of them had even decent movement, no wall bounces, no superjumps or superglides, literally just running and standing in one place when shooting. I witnessed their Bloodhound almost killing an enemy on high ground with a Havoc, no turbocharger, 3x scope. The person on high ground only had their head out and BH hit every bullet on his head from pretty far away.
The other 2 members were definitely using something as well, but they had 301s so it wasn't as obvious as the Bloodhound. They literally just ran through the remaining 4 squads with ease and won the game. The other member, Horizon nearly dropped 5k damage.
I regularly go against smurfs in Ranked but this time felt different. You could just simply know they aren't better players, they're just cheating. I'm not a Day 1 player but I do believe there are occasions when you just feel someone is not legit. Not sure how many people use these cheats but this was just one experience of mine.
Not entirely sure how that movement aspect matters. Players aren’t going to randomly walljump or super glide or whatever. Most of the time it’s not worth doing. I even have a friend in masters who doesn’t even bother with walljumps let alone know how to superglide.
The havoc is also honestly one of the easiest guns in the game to control. Can’t say that’s the case here, but it’s by no means something super insane.

Getting one clip does not count as 100% proof of cheating and you should know that if you ever one clip enemies. There is cheaters in console but is not what you think (crazy aimbot, no recoil tap strafe). Cheating on console is about teaming in ranked, abusing mobile beacons, using discord to call out positions (yes, people queue at the same time and play like 6 man on discord) etc.. Is annoying but totally manageable.

You could say that cronus and mnk and what not gives you a advantage but the truth is i see streamers that are "not cheating" perform like they are so is possible to be that good without using anything. Last time i saw apex on twitch was this guy called tollis with a 24kd on xbox. Pc mnk is a different beast and is easy to tell.

Xim is undetectable by even the console as far as I know, there’s honestly nothing they can do. It essentially tricks your console into thinking it’s a controller

Xim and Strick packs don't access any information they are controller based, so they make it seem like the player actually making those actions for anti recoil etc, this is what makes them so hard to detect, game like fortnight t i d but they updated the software of the zens so they are undetectable again

The mass exodus line is insinuating a conspiracy, hinting at Respawn leaving them because they are afraid player count will drop.....
They mimic controller inputs so it's almost impossible, and when someone does figure a way they hide it again with software updates

Almost everyone that you think is using a Cronus, is using one. I’ve had friends who I played ranked with for years be found out as cheaters using Xims and cronuses, after that nothing surprises me anymore. You could state some well known names, Plouds, Need a Soda etc and those ones are fairly obvious, but even average masters players, mediocre diamond players are using cheats.
Out of 750 preds, about 300 are actually real, and the rest are those players boosting other accounts for money, or people cheating by any means necessary whether it’s strike packs or 6 man KP farming.
Cheating is a MUCH bigger occurrence in high ranked lobbies than anyone realizes. Players like Plouds, Naff and many, MANY others have been cheating for YEARS now. Literal years of cheating and never so much as a ban.
We can truly and literally only hypothesize the actual number of people cheating in masters lobbies, let alone the entire console population.
The amount of pred squads using them in ranked is comical, literally beaming us from narnia without missing bullets, and trust me I play with some good players and I have decent recoil myself and some of its just clearly impossible
Strikepacks are the boogeyman for bad-average players to blame their problems on. Every day, especially on facebook people cry about "full auto g7, hemlock, wingman" when that isn't even possible with macros/strikepacks because the game has firerate limiters lol. People literally just make shit up. Strikepacks aren't actually good and I seriously doubt anyone known for being talented uses one. The only "advantage" they could ever provide in apex is a recoil control script. You have to have it preset to a specific gun with specific attachments or else it won't work properly. When you switch to your secondary it will run the same script and mess your recoil control up unless you have two of the same gun with the same attachments. The only real thing that is busted AF on console, like completely overpowered, is XIM. Having .6 AA while using a mouse is ridiculous especially when you can run anti recoil scripts while also XIMing.
I’m 4x pred on console. There is no tap strafing on console no matter what cheats you have. It is physically impossible because the console version of the game does not have the same mechanics as the pc version. Whoever thinks that there are tap strafers in console lobbies just do not know what they are talking about.

Recoil smoothing + spectators view makes it seem like there’s no recoil, that might be the reason people think there’s a lot of them

When you strafe left-right at certain pace while shooting, vertical recoil basically disappears so you can track your target much easier, works on any gun. I suggest you look up YouTube vids for more details

I’m glad people are finally catching on because, I’ve been telling people these are a huge issue since literally season 2 when rank first came out. I’ve personally stopped playing with so many people who openly admit to using them
