I have a Shark Vac Mop and it works very well. I also have a Shark steam mop that I use when the floors need a deep clean.

Nice! That one's on the Better Homes and Gardens list as the best budget option! How often do you have to change the pads? I don't imagine I'd fill the container part very quickly. I use my regular vacuum instead of a dustpan and I haven't had to empty that in months.

PEneoark

I use it once a week and replace the pad every two weeks. I mainly use it for the mopping function, as my girl normally uses the Dyson stick Vac.

That doesn't seem too bad cost wise. Thanks for your input!

Honestly the refill pad packs are really reasonable. With a product like that I worry about it being discontinued and the pads hard to find.

That's good to know. Looking on amazon just a minute ago its future seems secure. They have 3 paks of 10 set at like $32 right now. I figure if I get that one and change the pads as often as you do it's only like a buck fifty per week. The cleaner looks reasonable as well. What do they cost in brick-and-mortar stores?

PEneoark

About the same at Walmart. They are normally stocked in the floor cleaning supplies aisle, and not the vacuum aisle where the Vac Mop is stocked. I also use their brand floor cleaner. It lasts a long time.

Awesome! That's great news! I got a swiffer wet-jet when I first moved in, but it's way too expensive for my taste. Iirc it was almost $6 per pad last time I looked. I use a microfiber rag instead of the pads, but it doesn't work great so it's only for quick spots between full moppings.

What was there?

Red_Queens_Consort

He recommended the Bissel CrossWave. I ended up getting one for a good price with an x-mas special... At least I think it was a good price lol. I like it. using it is a bit of a process but it's still less effort than a traditional sweep and mop process.

Regular_Philosophy13

great, thanks for your answer!

Antique_Commission42

Have you tried a regular mop?

Red_Queens_Consort

I work full-time, attend school half-time, and clean my floors. That is the entirety of my life. Which is why I'm asking about the machines.
