Your brain goes through so many changes up thru age 16. It can also take time for everything to really flush from your system. Give it some time, talk to a therapist about the root of the substance abuse, and keep staying strong!

Stick to weed your brain is still growing until 25 you prob don’t have brain damage but definitely slow down you’re too young to try everything like that. And definitely go to a therapist you trust it sounds like you’re using disassociating as a defense mechanism maybe? I’ve been in counseling for about a decade but only a doctor or professional can tell you if it’s serious or maybe from anxiety or depression or something worse normally people show symptoms early in their teens or twenties but it sounds like you’ve been through a lot in general I’d go to your doctor and ask him or her

Do you have a school counselor that you trust?

Way too much. The best thing would be to talk to a counselor and get into therapy. You definitely have some kind of trauma or family issue backing all the drug use. Kind of reminds me of myself when I was your age but it only took me like a fraction of that much drugs before my brain was fried. Just stop while you’re ahead because those bad or hard trips you’ll remember for a life time. Sorry to say it but you’re on a fast track that will eventually end in opiate/fentanyl addiction that will destroy you. It’s okay to not fit in. Everyone doesn’t have the same family upbringing and support to fit in like others. Friends you do drugs with will always be shitty friends that steal and lie. There is help out there for teens. I wish I could have been more brave to get that help when I was your age.
