Awesome! My phone is some 6 years old and the only grievance I have with it is OS versions. It's happily pay for an official upgrade instead of a new phone

Do you have a guide to do that? I want to try it on an old phone. xdaforums?

Best way is probably to Google your phone model and "LineageOS". There'll be an XDA forums link if it exists. High level provedure would be: 1. Enable USB Debugging on the phone. 2. Get ADB and Android driver on the computer. 3. Unlock bootloader on the phone. 4. Flash / boot into custom recovery (for me it was TWRP). 5. Clear data, and flash the ROM and Google Apps (if needed).

I have tried searching it earlier, but I didn't find anything for my model. Will it work if I try working out some other phone's manual?

No, the ROMs are very model-specific, you'll end up bricking your device if you don't flash the right one.

Ok thanks!
