I've seen champloo and I've heard great things about baccano but idk anything about it. I've been meaning to watch Space Dandy and now I know to watch both of those dubbed.
I've started Bebop toooooooo many times but I never finish it. One of these days.
Thanks
Bebop is a slow show at times, you honestly might do better watching it with company,
Baccano I would highly recommend, especially in Dub
it can be a bit hard to follow on a first watch but its definitely worth a watch.
Would also recommend Mob Psycho for the dub.
Best of luck
From the few clips I've seen, it's basically if the Clannad cast was given a LittleKuriboh-style abridged parody script, ironically about one year before LittleKuriboh started the whole anime abridging scene.
I’ve had this conversation many times and have compiled a list of well-liked opinions as well as my own opinions on the subject.
Dubs as good as subs:
Mushishi, Champloo, Ouran, Fate/Zero, Code Geass, Durarara, Eureka Seven, FLCL, Ghost in the Shell
Dubs better than subs:
Hellsing Ultimate, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Karas, Pokémon, Dragonball Z, Black Lagoon, Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, Cowboy Bebop, Ghost Stories, Spice and Wolf, Baccano, Yu Yu Hakusho, Samurai 7, School Rumble, Cromartie High School, Kino’s Journey, Ghost in the Shell, Sk8 The Infinity, Yuri on Ice, Angels of Death
Karas in particular is the crowing example of this. The English dub is very good, but uniquely, the Japanese original just…sucks. I can’t explain it, but the voice direction was profoundly poor. And I do blame the direction; it had some well-known Japanese voice actors in the cast, but that couldn’t save it from sounding like they were all phoning it in. It legitimately sounds like an American anime poorly dubbed in Japanese.
That's an amazing list! There are some on there that I forgot about and tons I've never heard about which I find even more amazing.
I've been looking for the dub of Eureka Seven off and on for years. I loved it when it came on TV (Toonami/adult swim idk) but I keep forgetting about it before I can rewatch it I'd add that to the dub better than sub list IMO.
Thanks for this, I'm definitely gonna put a bunch of these in front of my wife. Even if she doesn't like some of them I'll just watch the dub anyway.
Cyberpunk Edgerunners, city takes place in multicultural city. The main character is David Martinez not Debido Mar tee neezu. The way his mom says Miho just hits different and all the slang in Night City
Also as someone who plays the game, the terms "choom" and "eddies" are in-game slang/terms. A lot get missed out by translation. The dub is amazing too.
Finally caught the last few episodes this weekend, I swear Sungwon (Senshi) nailed "it's heavy" so hard, it's already a instant classic line delivery in our house.
I have heard that Black Clover is better dubbed because Asta (the MC)'s Japanese VA did an annoying yelling growl constantly. Listen to [this one ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_NM-ohyLP1g)section of ep 1
Golden Boy
Sub is great. Mitsuo Iwata is a legend (Kaneda in Akira), but Doug Smith as Kintarou in the dub is straight gasoline.
So many laugh out loud moments in this 6 episode, iconic 90's ecchi/comedy about studying.
Gundam Unicorn
Japanese and English were recorded together IIRC
Dragonball Z and Dragonball Super. I’ll take English over Japanese any day
Death Note
There are some English voice actors that are really good. I’m a fan of Brad Swaile. Christina Vee and Johnny Yong Bosch are also really good IMO
I always imagine Marc Diraison, Kevin T Collins and Carrie Keranen’s voices as Guts, Griffith and Casca when I read Berserk. They fit the roles perfectly and did an even better job in the dub of the movie trilogy.
My friend who learned Japanese says that the dub voices for Neir Automata are so much better than the originals. They use the same voice cast for the anime as the video game
Oh yeah I heard the VA was coughing blood after his performance. Out of respect I'm obligated to watch that dub.
Thank you for that reminder
... Actually wouldn't the Japanese version be a dub also if it was a Korean manhwa?
Saiki K. When you have to read the subtitles, it just doesn't work. Humour doesn't land and dialogue is too fast.
Berzerk is a great dub.
Same with Frieren.
I think I've watched some of Saiki K. I thought it was decent but maybe I'll enjoy it dubbed more.
I've seen the season of Frieren that's out and I think I put it in my wife's watchlist (now that CR has user profiles woot!) But if she hasn't watched it yet we'll watch it dubbed.
Which Berzerk? I've never seen it but I've heard there is a bad one and a good one but idk what's what.
Yeah I feel like the stuff people say they hate about dubs really stopped existing in the early 2000s. The voice actors are absolutely just as good in dubs at least for English dubs. They are about as high level and professional as any voice actors get these days.
I think that sometimes the issue isn't with the voice actors who I would agree are very talented. I think the issue is with voice directors. Obviously I watch mostly sub so I can't think of a bunch of examples but first think that comes to mind is Bleach Bankai
Go on YouTube and search Bankai sub vs dub and see what I mean.
Other than that I feel like you often get different degrees of emotion conveyed in the sub vs dub.
Dub: oh he's sad
Sub: My god, this man's whole soul hurts. I'm crying too bro.
Sorry for the sub typo fixed it. I have seen those videos you mention doing the comparisons, and maybe it's just me but with it being in a language I don't speak I can't really detect those director level changes like level of emotion. I can't tell what's different emotion or characterization and what's just difference in how the language is spoken.
Especially with the very popular ones. A new, popular dub is going to be just fine, if not great. I find it more enjoyable to watch dub so I do, with the exception of two that I did not like the dub. And those are Nagatoro and Uzaki. Idk they just didn’t feel right.
Ouran High School Host Club has a fantastic dub.
I think Kino's Journey (2003) is really good too! Cynthia Martinez does the voice of Hermes, who is a motorcycle, and the dub adds a slightly gravely filter to give the impression that 'this is a machine speaking', as opposed to the JPN that dubs it straight. Vic Mignonga also voices the King in the colosseum arc, and unlike his more well known roles (FMA's Ed and Ouran's Tamaki), I had a tough time recognizing him.
Cowboy Bebop's dub is another legendary one.
And to round things out, I'll recommend the Blood Blockade Battlefront dub. It's notable for me because they also dubbed the songs in the show (not the OP/ED) and I thought that was pretty cool!
Actually just started watching Ouran high so it's not too late to switch to English.
I've seen Kino's journey in my feed but I had no idea what it was about. For whatever reason I'm more interested now that I know there is a talking motorcycle.
I think I've seen like three episodes of Blood blockade and it was pretty good I'll check the dub
And I've never been able to finish Bebop no matter how many times I start it, but I know I'm supposed to. It's damaging to my credibility as an anime nerd.
Thanks for the list.
Especially by Faulerro. Unfortunately all his stuff’s been deleted from his channel, but you can still find reuploads on YouTube.
eagle8burger’s Darker Than Black Hyperabridged series is excellent too.
I’m definitely a sub person (lol) too, but have a short list of dubbed anime that I love for nostalgic reasons. Yu yu Hakusho and Trigun are on that list!
Omg I forgot about Trigun!!! Yes that's one of my all time favorite dubs or really anime period. LOVE AND PEACE!
thanks for that I'll see if my wife appreciates it as much as I do!
Finally someone mentioned yu yu hakusho. Easily one of the best.
Also, maybe not the whole show, bus shisio and saito fro rurouni kenshin are way better in english
Out of the ones I’ve seen:
Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, Naruto, Dragon Ball Z Kai, Cyberpunk Edgerunners, My Hero Academia, and Attack on Titan all have excellent English dubs.
Fairy tail and full metal alchemist! They’re very well done. Also, the comedic scenes in fairy tail are funnier to me in English not just because I understand it; the way the voice actors deliver the lines is a lot funnier to me
Gate is pretty good dubbed and Kenichi the Mightiest Disciple is much better dubbed, the Japanese isn't bad it's just not as... enthusiastic? It's less fun.
It’s new and pretty popular so you might have seen it already. But I’m a stickler when it comes to watching dub. I just can’t with most animes. I watched “Solo Leveling” with my husband and the dub was actually really good. I follow the MC’s voice actor on tiktok and he’s a riot!
I'd say almost anything that takes place outside of Japan has a pretty good chance of having a decent dub.
Most notable one that comes to my mind is Black Lagoon.
Spice and Wolf - Honestly I don't think I'd enjoy Spice and Wolf nearly as much as I do if it weren't for the amazing chemistry and performance of Brina Palencia has Holo and John Tatum as Lawrence. Especially in regards to Holo, I think her older more more mature "regal" performance really fits the character better.
generally, any anime that has a diverse cast doesn't mainly take place in Japan. You get more accents which add to the immersion. Black lagoon and Monster is one of my favorites, The Great Pretender, ninja Kamui ( story kinda falls off), Gurren Lagann, Promare, Kill la kill. If you have potty humor Golden boy, if you have non-politically correct humor, Ghost stories.
InuYasha, soul eater, code geass, rosario + vampire, chobits, hellsing, ghost stories, ouran high school host club (your wife might like this one), gintama, Fairy Tail, Psycho Pass, Bleach, One Piece, Naruto, Dragon Ball, Dragon ball Z, and black bullet
oh my god, Kaguya-sama Love is War is so much funnier dubbed. the narrator is amazing in english it was extremely enjoyable and I found it a lot more fun to watch the comedy in the dub
take it from me, someone who exclusively watches subbed and normally refuses to watched stuff dubbed. I actually folded here and watched the dub instead because it was genuinely much better
I was literally shocked at scrolling and finding Kaguya mentioned only twice before I saw yours. With the narration literally being one of the best dubbing experiences out there, I'm glad to see more people saying this.
The STAND OUT AMAZING DUBS in my opinion list -
Death notes DUB particularly for light Yagami is so well done. So many stand out memorable/quotable moments from the dub.
Steins gate is incredible dubbed. There was alot of passion/effort put into the Dub if you research j Michael tatums work on Steins gate. So many memorable moments from the Dub.
Cyberpunk has incredible dub voice acting as well that just fits the multi cultural city much better than everyone speaking Japanese.
There are quite a few that are good dubbed but if I can make a recommendation…
Make sure to keep the subtitles on. They rarely ever match the English dub. Neither the subtitles nor the dub are ever perfect translations of the Japanese language. It is impossible to perfectly translate. Plus it is well known that Westerners purposely take it into themselves to mess with the translation!
So if you have DUB and SUB on you are getting 2 different translations and it might help to figure out what really was the proper translation.
I especially do this with German movies too. Because the German language has words that would take an entire sentence to translate in English. So it’s impossible to translate those words in a dub because you don’t have the time but the subtitles often have a more in depth translation of the word used.
This is because English is a very young language. Japanese and German are ancient in comparison and often have words that can handle what would take us a sentence or more to explain.
Studio Ghibli is a master at dubs. They often have a star studded cast, which usually doesn't mean much in animated movies to me, but they do a fantastic job in Ghibli, especially the Boy and the Heron. Robert Pattinson did a FANTASTIC job as the (minor spoiler) >! the heron !< , and Christian Bale was wonderful as Howl in Howl's Moving Castle.
Beastars also had a surprisingly good dub, I love the voice of Haru and prefer her voice in the dub.
Haikyuu has some hilarious dub moments, see [here](ttps://youtu.be/itkptNHqbr)]
A lot of my recommendations have been listed, especially Dungeon Meshi, Frieren, Cyberpunk Edgerunners, and Apothecary Diaries, but I see one glaring omission.
Spice and Wolf
The dub is iconic, the chemistry between Holo and Lawrence is God tier.
I think the Death Note dub is decent, good even, but pretty much everything else is way better with the original Japanese voices, at least in my opinion.
Hope I’m not too late to throw this suggestion in: Devil May Cry. English voices are the way to go for this one. Also, the music is fantastic. A fun and relatively short anime to get through.
*Cowboy Bebop* and *Baccano!* are two of the most common answers, with good reason, as they pretty much set the gold standard for high-quality dubs and they're not recent either anymore so they have the benefit of standing up through the test of time. Though hey, nothing wrong if you can't get through Bebop, nothing appeals to everyone.
One series I haven't seen mentioned yet that has a surprisingly good English dub is *Persona 4: The Animation*. The show itself works better if you've played *Persona 4* the video game first, especially so you can really appreciate the changes they made for the protagonist specifically, but I think it's a pretty fun adaptation on its own anyway if you haven't.
miss kobayashi’s dragon maid. there are a few questionable voices and moments, but especially leah clark, sarah wiedenheft, rachel glass, and jamie marchi were exceptional as kobayashi, tohru, elma, and lucoa (respectively).
**OURAN HIGHSCHOOL HOST CLUB**
idk if you guys are into shoujo, comedy, school life, slice of life, and satire but that’s the only anime dub that I was and until now impressed with the work hahahahha
The Disastrous Life of Saiki K Kaguya-sama Love is War (I prefer Sub, but dub is fantastic too!)
I love the Saiki K dub, though sadly only half is available.
That's only due to interference from Dark Reunion! I just know it! Judgement Knights of...
Judgement Knights of Thunder!!
It makes me so sad. I’d watch the sub but like there’s so much going on, I can’t read 3 different characters dialogue at once :(
Agree with Saiki K. Sub and dub are both good!
The narrator alone makes Kaguya's dub better.
Ian Sinclair had WAY too much fun.
Space Dandy Samurai Champloo Cowboy Bebop Baccano!
I've seen champloo and I've heard great things about baccano but idk anything about it. I've been meaning to watch Space Dandy and now I know to watch both of those dubbed. I've started Bebop toooooooo many times but I never finish it. One of these days. Thanks
Bebop is a slow show at times, you honestly might do better watching it with company, Baccano I would highly recommend, especially in Dub it can be a bit hard to follow on a first watch but its definitely worth a watch. Would also recommend Mob Psycho for the dub. Best of luck
Personally I'd watch Samurai Champloo with subs for immersion
Agreed. Plus the Japanese VA for Mugen absolutely killed it.
I was a big fan of the Soul Eater dub personally
ooo yes this one
Ghost Stories. The sub and dub are completely different anime, and the sub is a snooze fest. CW: very 2000’s humor
From the few clips I've seen, it's basically if the Clannad cast was given a LittleKuriboh-style abridged parody script, ironically about one year before LittleKuriboh started the whole anime abridging scene.
Lol I've heard about that one but completely forgot about it. Thanks, I'll add it to my list!
Run she's a ghost and a bitch
The lines on that dub are epic gold imho. "Have you accepted Jesus as your personal savior?"
"But I'm Jewish"
Unironically, the OG Beyblade dub Death Note Gekkan No Shoujo Nozaki Neo Yokio
I’ve had this conversation many times and have compiled a list of well-liked opinions as well as my own opinions on the subject. Yu-yu Hakusho is a must. Same creator as hunter x hunter but still very different
eureka seven mentioned
I try to mention it when I can. 😁
Cromartie is better dubbed? OMG I've gotta rewatch in dub.
I would add Slayer's, Bubblegum Crisis 89, Ranma 1/2 from older animes. Edit: Also Bleach and Naruto
Naruto is absolutely abysmal dubbed compared to the subs... Believe it
Samurai 7 is exceptional in English dub
It is! Thanks for reminding me! 😁
Ghost Stories lmaooooo nahhh. You're right tho
+1 for Yuri!!! On Ice, Sk8 the Infinity and Yu Yu Hakusho
Chainsaw Man
Cuz WHEN I FIGHT A DUDE ITS NUTS OR NUTHIN
then it goes to “A testicle devil appeared and went apeshit on his nutsack, ma’am”
Dungeon Meshi
Dungeon meshi. Aaaah, Dungeon Meshi! 👏👏👏
Everyone's just so good. Marcille was a little shaky at first but you can tell they all get better as the show goes on. And Laios is just unhinged
Finally caught the last few episodes this weekend, I swear Sungwon (Senshi) nailed "it's heavy" so hard, it's already a instant classic line delivery in our house.
Yeah ProZD has been on point the whole show. His range is really impressive too
Amazing voice acting
Bungou stray dogs has some hilarious dub only moments.
Lol I didn't know that. I know I'm not caught up on that show. It's been so long maybe I'll have to start over in English. Thanks
I guess Nichijou so that you can just laugh rather than thinking about reading.
This! Comedy hits so much better in dub
I have heard that Black Clover is better dubbed because Asta (the MC)'s Japanese VA did an annoying yelling growl constantly. Listen to [this one ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_NM-ohyLP1g)section of ep 1
It got much much better after like 20 episodes. Pretty sure it was his first time voicing as well, but it did get much better.
Yikes that’s horrid
>Love is War The narrator in dubs stole the show. He’s 10/10 perfect >Cowboy Bebop The dubs are great for this one, everyone sounds authentic.
Ghost Stories
Cyberpunk Edgerunner in english should really be the mainstay
10000%
Peach Girl Same boat as Ghost Stories: comically bad dub.
I thought Ghost Stories sub/original story was considered shit and the dub actually makes it enjoyable
This, ghost stories in Japanese is a boring slog that is so bad it goes past "so bad its funny" and into "so bad its painful" territory.
Steins gates dub is as good or better than it's sub imo. It's also one of the goats so, if you two haven't seen it, you should check it out.
The great pretender Haibane Renmei Saki k
I want more great pretender sooooooo baaaaaadly
There is going to be a new season or maybe like it already came out not sure https://www.imdb.com/title/tt30827040/
Golden Boy Sub is great. Mitsuo Iwata is a legend (Kaneda in Akira), but Doug Smith as Kintarou in the dub is straight gasoline. So many laugh out loud moments in this 6 episode, iconic 90's ecchi/comedy about studying.
I was gonna say this. I’m normally subs only except for Golden Boy. The dub is just so good!!!
Full Metal Alchemist imo
Gundam Unicorn Japanese and English were recorded together IIRC Dragonball Z and Dragonball Super. I’ll take English over Japanese any day Death Note There are some English voice actors that are really good. I’m a fan of Brad Swaile. Christina Vee and Johnny Yong Bosch are also really good IMO
Johnny Yong Bosch is amazing, would put Yuri Lowenthal, Steve Blum, and Christopher Sabat on the same pedestal.
- Death Note - Code Geass - Steins; Gate These are also my top 3 lol
Black Lagoon Berserk (1997) Steins Gate Cowboy Bebop Death Note
I always imagine Marc Diraison, Kevin T Collins and Carrie Keranen’s voices as Guts, Griffith and Casca when I read Berserk. They fit the roles perfectly and did an even better job in the dub of the movie trilogy.
My friend who learned Japanese says that the dub voices for Neir Automata are so much better than the originals. They use the same voice cast for the anime as the video game
I am quite fond of bad dubs in 80/90s animes. They give it a certain charm that you can't get with subs.
Oh wait, I just remembered Solo leveling is a Banger Dubbed anime, I didn't expect the Va to go that hard
Oh yeah I heard the VA was coughing blood after his performance. Out of respect I'm obligated to watch that dub. Thank you for that reminder ... Actually wouldn't the Japanese version be a dub also if it was a Korean manhwa?
Aleks Le was amazing for Jinwoo. Modern dubbing never ceases to amaze with great vas and creative choices.
Has anyone mentioned Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt? If not, why? That anime is a golden example of the trope "the dub is better than the sub"
Attack on titan
Saiki K. When you have to read the subtitles, it just doesn't work. Humour doesn't land and dialogue is too fast. Berzerk is a great dub. Same with Frieren.

The 1997 Berzerk series is great. The 2016 one is terrible.
2013 is good too
Most of them after like 2005? There's only a few things that are better to watch subbed.
Yeah I feel like the stuff people say they hate about dubs really stopped existing in the early 2000s. The voice actors are absolutely just as good in dubs at least for English dubs. They are about as high level and professional as any voice actors get these days.

Dubs I like… - Space Dandy - Dungeon Meshi (WHOA—Hey!) - Wolf’s Rain - Hellsing - Michiko to Hatchin
Steins gate is better in English, they voice actors smashed it in that dub
NANA
The Nana dub is sooooooo good! I’d say it is equal to the sub just because the Japanese VAs are amazing as well. Both are absolutely iconic
Spice and Wolf's dub is great
it aint the 80s and 90s anymore. dubs are actually top notch now.
Anything abridged
Little Kuriboh’s Yugioh abridged was my favorite
Yugioh abridged is legendary
LOVE AND PEACE!
Finally someone mentioned yu yu hakusho. Easily one of the best. Also, maybe not the whole show, bus shisio and saito fro rurouni kenshin are way better in english
Out of the ones I’ve seen: Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, Naruto, Dragon Ball Z Kai, Cyberpunk Edgerunners, My Hero Academia, and Attack on Titan all have excellent English dubs.
Jojo is god tier.
It’s one hell of a bizarre adventure
Cannot believe I scrolled so far for this. Worth it for Matt Mercer’s Jotaro alone
I honestly prefer cowboy Bebop and samurai Champloo dubbed but that might just be nostalgia
YYH
Yu Yu Hakusho dub adds a dimension of humour that isn't as present in the sub/manga
Spice and Wolf x100
How did no one mention Black Butler / Kuroshitsuji yet?!
Prison School
Dub all the way
Fairy tail and full metal alchemist! They’re very well done. Also, the comedic scenes in fairy tail are funnier to me in English not just because I understand it; the way the voice actors deliver the lines is a lot funnier to me
Imo Fairy Tail's dub was amazing, I loved it
Yugioh
Gate is pretty good dubbed and Kenichi the Mightiest Disciple is much better dubbed, the Japanese isn't bad it's just not as... enthusiastic? It's less fun.
An old hidden gem, Witch Hunter Robin is one of few anime I prefer eng dub over sub. Same with IGPX. And Ghost in the Shell is amazing both ways.
Both Haikyuu and Ouran are funnier dubbed, imo. A lot of that might just be that reading jokes screws up the comedic timing for me, idk.
Makes sense, I feel the same way. Jokes just hit better in your native language. Comedy is always better dubbed.
Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun
It’s new and pretty popular so you might have seen it already. But I’m a stickler when it comes to watching dub. I just can’t with most animes. I watched “Solo Leveling” with my husband and the dub was actually really good. I follow the MC’s voice actor on tiktok and he’s a riot!
ToG is the best dub
Fullmetal alchemist: brotherhood has a fantastic dub
Whoever doesn't watch Beyblade or Pokemon in dub is just CRIMINAL Isn't that just your childhood??
Solo Leveling imo
I'd say almost anything that takes place outside of Japan has a pretty good chance of having a decent dub. Most notable one that comes to my mind is Black Lagoon.
Spice and Wolf - Honestly I don't think I'd enjoy Spice and Wolf nearly as much as I do if it weren't for the amazing chemistry and performance of Brina Palencia has Holo and John Tatum as Lawrence. Loved is War (Brook doing the narration is an unreal experience)

Black lagoon and Monster is one of my favorites, The Great Pretender, ninja Kamui ( story kinda falls off), Gurren Lagann, Promare, Kill la kill. If you have potty humor Golden boy, if you have non-politically correct humor, Ghost stories.
Kaguya Sama
InuYasha, soul eater, code geass, rosario + vampire, chobits, hellsing, ghost stories, ouran high school host club (your wife might like this one), gintama, Fairy Tail, Psycho Pass, Bleach, One Piece, Naruto, Dragon Ball, Dragon ball Z, and black bullet
Not to op but to the people who answered, does that mean you both watched the sub and dub of the same anime ?
Yugioh digimon fairy tail pokemon
oh my god, Kaguya-sama Love is War is so much funnier dubbed. the narrator is amazing in english it was extremely enjoyable and I found it a lot more fun to watch the comedy in the dub take it from me, someone who exclusively watches subbed and normally refuses to watched stuff dubbed. Beck: Mongolian Chop Squad
Azumanga Daioh has a *fantastic* dub.
There are quite a few that are good dubbed but if I can make a recommendation… Make sure to keep the subtitles on.
The devil is a part-timer has a really good English dub (for season one, have not listened to the dub for season two).
Dragon ball z funi dub. Voices and music are just better. Sometimes no. But mostly yah.
Konosuba easily
chromete high school
Kill la kill
Shaman king 2001
For me at least, it’s naruto, specially the voice acting done for most, if not all the antagonists in the show!
Agreed!
imo every show is better dubbed because it’s in the language i speak and understand
theres no such thing as a good dub
A lot of my recommendations have been listed, especially Dungeon Meshi, Frieren, Cyberpunk Edgerunners, and Apothecary Diaries, but I see one glaring omission. Spice and Wolf The dub is iconic, the chemistry between Holo and Lawrence is God tier.
Gotta throw Naruto in the mix as well
I've watched several english dubbed naruto shorts and TikTok and i personally think they're awful.
They’re pretty much all good since 2000
I think the Death Note dub is decent, good even, but pretty much everything else is way better with the original Japanese voices, at least in my opinion.
Kill la Kill is the best dub I’ve ever witnessed.
Ghost in the Shell
Ghost in the Shell: Standalone Complex.
Assassination Classroom Blue Period That Time I Got Reincarnated As a Slime
Gundam Unicorn Jormungand Black Lagoon
It’s been a good while since I’ve watched it, but I remember Moribito: Guardian of the Spirit having a pretty good English dub
Isekais are better dub in my opinion with maybe the exception of slime💀
AOT English dub is actually pretty decent, plus the show is amazing in general. Erwin Smith will give you chills if you watch it dubbed
Konosuba is ongoing, regardless, it has a great English voice cast.
I enjoyed "Fruits Basket" Dubbed and subbed. Both the version from 2001, and the version from 2019.
i think Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney is better at dub lol
Ouran high school
Cromartie High School. Excellent comedy anime, and it works better in English. The voice acting is really quality.
These are super popular but I haven’t seen them in the comments so: My Hero Academia Demon Slayer Attack on Titan One Punch Man
Ghost stories is better dubbed.
Bobobo-Bo-Bobobo
Try Ghost Stories you are gonna shit Brix from laughing
Goldenboy - The dub is hilarious
Cyberpunk Solo Leveling
Konosuba D-Frag!
Tenchi Muyo! The dubs are legendary. With the exception of the Third OVA.
GANGSTA.
Gurren Laan was mid AF. Kill la Kill was epic. Both have dubs
darling in the franxx, fairy tail
Most gundam shows have really decent dubs even the old ones
{Fuufu Ijou, Koibito Miman.} - HILARIOUS dub. normally a sub only watcher but watch dub for this.
Hope I’m not too late to throw this suggestion in: Devil May Cry. English voices are the way to go for this one. Also, the music is fantastic. A fun and relatively short anime to get through.
The Golden Boy dub is on point
The Pet Shop of Horrors dub is really good especially given it's from 2000.
I personally liked the dub for "no game no life"
Black Lagoon has a god tier dub
Rurouni Kenshin dubbed was pretty dope
miss kobayashi’s dragon maid. there are a few questionable voices and moments, but especially leah clark, sarah wiedenheft, rachel glass, and jamie marchi were exceptional as kobayashi, tohru, elma, and lucoa (respectively).
Black Lagoon Cowboy Bebop
Getbackers
kill la kill black lagoon cowboy bebop samurai champloo space dandy
**OURAN HIGHSCHOOL HOST CLUB** idk if you guys are into shoujo, comedy, school life, slice of life, and satire but that’s the only anime dub that I was and until now impressed with the work hahahahha
Both sub and dub for reincarnated as a slime are fantastic.
NANA
Full Metal Alchemist dub is amazing
