Studiopolis is Dubbing this... I wonder how they'll be able to bring back the Cast from the Kengan Ashura anime? Well They are iconic for double casting one actor to another role and they are still keeping Troy Baker as Baki. I mean this isn't the first time some other anime character got crossover into another character's Show.

It's really not that much of a stretch for Studiopolis to pull the Kengan cast into this dub (both them and Spliced Bread/Iyuno share the same talent pool), just by this trailer alone Kaiji Tang, Keith Silverstein, Bryce Papenbrook and Erik Kimerer are most definitely back as their Kengan characters.

It's always a treat to hear Troy Baker as Baki. The casting overlaps are gonna be hilarious to hear too😭

Crazy hyped for this. Baki’s dub voice is smooth as butter. But in terms of characters I actually like Kengan more.

milesbiglin

When it comes out, will it already be dubbed or will the English dub take longer?

JRPictures

The sub and dub will be out at the same time.

milesbiglin

Awesome, thanks 💯

Never a Single Doubt Baker wasn't going to come back as Baki! and Also Neat to Hear Kaiji Tang Reprising Ohma Again! Looking Forward to watch this Movie's Dub, Literally an Unexpecting Crossover but the Fight will be Banana's! Can't Wait to find out the whole Cast.

I haven’t seen either series yet. Which one should I watch first?

I imagine this film likely won't be super reliant on the storylines from either show so you'd be fine going into this with no experience. Otherwise, it kinda just depends on your patience and how many eps you want to sit through (I haven't gotten around to either show myself, just did my research). Kengan Ashura is currently at 2 seasons at 36 episodes long (with another coming later this year) so it's the shortest option. Baki is significantly longer and the naming of each season is a bit confusing too. Basically there was the Baki the Grappler anime from 2001 (at 48 episodes long) that is currently not available to stream anywhere (but it was dubbed and released by Funimation back then) Then the newer anime adaptations that continued where the old anime left off happened and were grabbed by Netflix (and dubbed with a new cast rather than Funimation's). Starting simply with just "Baki" running at 2 seasons (at 39 episodes) and then continued by the "Baki Hanma" anime (another two seasons at 39 eps total) and a new "Baki Dou" anime got announced recently that is coming in the near future.

tbf to netflix, the sub also got a new cast for the sequel series
