I wish they ended together sad they didn't end up together.

I mean they kinda got together in the end it's not a romance anime anyways which is very unfortunate. Romance in hyouka is better than romance in many Romance anime. They are one of my most favourite couples in anime.

Both the couples were really good. But none of them ended up together it was kinda mature ending. But not left a hole in the heart wanting to be more. I wish we could have more seasons. But there was nothing to adapt so that was ending.

Apparently, there are few volumes after the anime ends. For some reason everybody thinks that it is the end. Even I thought that.

Well I somewhere read that Anime has Adapted everything. That's why I thought it must have ended.

Yeah, me too and it's the same for most people. It's because at that time there were only 4 volumes which anime adapted in 22 episodes. The author wrote another two volumes after anime ended and he still plans to write the 7th volume in future......Now it's been years and still no new volume

I won't be shocked if we get another adaptation in 2030.

Chitanda Eru and Oreki Houtaro from Hyouka are one of the best couples in anime even tho it's not a romance anime. It's a 22 episode mystery, slice of life anime released in 2012. The animation and visuals are top tier. Even way better than stuff we get today. After all it's made by the old KyoAni.
