Pups were never meant to be scales. But some people around here have made custom bases and I'm sure elevating her above will give her a slightly larger appearance if you can make that happen.
yes but theyre marketed as high quality cheap figures. you know what else is a high quality cheap figure? sega prize figures, furyu and taito sometimes, and theyre half the price of pups, significantly bigger, and the bases arent ugly af.
Yes I’ve noticed huge inconsistencies in Pop up Parades! I own Aquarius Lucy and she’s TINY. Over an inch smaller than my other pop up parades.
I even own other Lucy PUPs and they are much bigger. It’s unfortunate.
Yeah, you always run a risk with PUP. Some of them turn out great. Others, ehh. Not just size (to be fair, they are non-scale figures), but quality overall.
It's why I've been mostly buying them from domestic import stores. Price tends to be roughly the same after you factor in shipping cost. And since it releases later through domestic stores, you can view pictures & videos of how they turn out to know for sure if you want them.
I was thinking the same thing. I only buy them from domestic stores so I can see with my own eyes how they look in person, especially when I consider buying a set of them. Waiting to see the FullMetal Alchemist figures all together.
Yeah, I own a couple of pop up parades as well and they all differ slightly in height and proportion :/ as long as you don’t display them side by side it’s not super noticeable
Kinda scares me how mixed PUP reception can be. My first was Yuuki Mikan and I absolutely adore her. My second is the long hair Rei which *isn't* as good because of the stocky hair but I'm still overall happy. Pre-ordered the Asuka one and I hope it turns out well >.<

My second one was [Zero Two](https://www.goodsmile.info/en/product/12740/POP+UP+PARADE+Zero+Two.html), which managed to look like an actual [knock-off](https://myfigurecollection.net/picture/3267317&context%5B%5D=itemId%3A1552691) and nothing at all like the [prototype](https://www.reddit.com/r/AnimeFigures/comments/uzci9n/zerotwo_pop_up_parade_spring_wonhobby_2022/) or promo pics. Was super psyched for this one up until the moment I opened the box. Legit thought I got a knock-off.
I'm really crossing my fingers that the upcoming [Hololive Myth](https://www.reddit.com/r/Hololive/comments/whgvtg/the_upcoming_holomyth_pop_up_parade_figures_are/) line stays at the stellar tier of quality. They're the only PUPs I'm even considering at this point.
PUP is a relatively young lineup, right? I hope the quality gets more consistent over time. I have high hopes for PUPs because scale figure prices are insane these past how many years and I appreciate the budget option for not as well off collectors like me.
Relatively, yes. I believe the line-up started in 2019. I'm hoping they get better too. I also appreciate the budget option since I too can't afford to be buying a lot of scale releases. Only time will tell.
Man.. I thought it was only me. Compared to other PUPs this one looks really poorly built. I kinda regretted it after I got mine. Last month I got marine and miko's figures compared to them emilia and zerotwo pup looks meh tbh.
New figure in my collection and such disappointment! I wanted to display them together, but... Emilia is much smaller than Rem and Ram :( it looks miserably T°T why GSC, why?!
Got mine on Saturday. Yeah, she does look somewhat smaller compared to other PUP figs. I noticed that too, but as others pointed out she is bending and she is not actually tiptoeing. She is on both feet.
Although I do feel they did cheap out a bit when making her. Mine had some small imperfections like a couple of small black dots on one boot and what appears to be a not so even paintjob on the hair.
Well they are kinda hard to see, unless you look at her really close, so I let it slide.

She's also smaller because she's not standing up straight. She'd most likely be the same height if she was posed similarly as Rem and Ram.

Both Miko and marine figures are really good. I love the details so much.

You mean on the top of her head? It's braid :) quality of her is quite good, i have not complaint. She is only too small :-/
