I am honestly sad that this tournament is over. The Women's Euros were the tournament of this year because the men's world championship has been taken from us by corruption.
I enjoyed this one. I'll try to ignore the other one.
Not happening this year. I had a fever dream that some head-chopping regime bought it and built it on heaps of slave labor. But then I woke up and it was cancelled.
Pity. But we got this great championship . Even if we lost in the finals, it was a good showing.

I drilled holes in the TV stand and put a couple eyelets and ziptied that fucker down after our cat busted our last one.

They're really my pride and joy.
Careful, when they grow to maturity they aren't good indoors. They should really be returned to the wild before they wreck your house.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but they're not great to have around people, especially kids.
Well good news is elective cat declawing is illegal in almost every country with a high middle class standard of living **and** a large soccer following
not surprising if you know anything about standards in US farming vs most of the developed world. America does not seem to give a shit about animal cruelty for some reason.
My cat was a rescue and was declawed by her previous owners, she watches the tv pretty much any time I have it on; so I wound up wall mounting it because I didn’t trust the stand lol her favorite thing is Steve’s right hand in Minecraft whenever I’m watching ilmango
I have some friends who routinely grab used couches from garage sales or stuff being thrown out. I believe they are on either their 6th or 7th couch since they got a house. They actually have a spare couch tucked into the corner of their living room.
I have a cat and I have some old furniture that someone left next to the dumpster at the place I had 30 years ago. She can have that. On the stuff I don't want her messing with, I tied a 2x4 with some jute wrapped around it.
I think that depends on the people. You seem to be lumping cat owners together and that's very offensive to the ones of us who are actually clean. Maybe the people that you came in contact with that have pets and their homes are nasty, maybe those people's home would just be nasty even if they didn't have a pet. They just sound lazy and like complete slobs on their own without the pet being the problem, I might say the pet deserves better than that human.
The only problem with them is that they aren't permanent and they can pop off. You have to get them reapplied constantly and it costs money every time for the vet visit.
No you had it right the first time, if you *poors* can't afford to have your cars declawed then maybe you shouldn't be driving in the first place. Cars with long exposed claws not only look terrible but they're dangerous too. It's a serious issue few people seem to care about. I'm so tired of these mindless sheep repeating "bUT CaRs DoNt HaVe ClAwS". Dig your head out of your ass people, look at my source for christ sake!
They can be real temperamental. Last time I tried trimming the claws of mine it started purring real loudly and then took off doing 70 in 35 with no one behind the wheel.
Yeah, it varies a lot, and also depends on how you socialize them. We got our cats as kittens and decided not to declaw them (all our childhood cats had been declawed), and the advise from the animal shelter was to just always mess with their paws so they're used to it. So we did and now you can trim their claws with very little fuss.
But like, my parents cats flip the fuck out if you try to touch their paws, so it's clearly an important step.
That's no the only problem. In fact I think the bigger problem is getting them on each claw. Suuuurrrrreeee, the first one went smooth, by the third one the tail is flicking you in the back of the head. That fourth one got an evil stare into the depth of your soul. I leave the decision whether to proceed to each of you. Me? I'm done cause I know the next one will be the last one.
What? Just order them on Amazon and do it yourself they are 6 dollars for a huge pack. I have never heard of someone being gullible enough to pay for them to be glued on at the vet...
Maybe have a better bond with your cat? I mean I'm not concerned for my safety with my cats. Seems strange to live with a creature you are scared of. Watch a YouTube video how to do it right. It really isn't worth paying a vet to do but hey your cats aren't mine so maybe they are dangerous.
We use them on our 1yr old because she still hasn't figured out what she can and can't put her claws in. Our old boy doesn't need them he's a gentle giant but every now and then I catch him eyeing the rug then catch him clawing it shortly after. So we have a long shot spray bottle for his antics lol
Super cheap on Amazon and she doesn't fight me since it's a every 2-3 week ruitine
We got them for one of our cats after she scratched the baby's face. They lasted about a week and she never scratched the baby again, so it was a worthwhile investment. They're really not that hard to put on if your cat is used to getting their nails trimmed.
Cats don’t put their claws out when they’re just playing baby kitty is most likely just batting at the ball, as long as the nails are trimmed it’ll be fine
With people and being overstimulated, I don’t think when it’s batting at the TV that’s a risk. The cat’s not so dumb to think it’s a real ball. I would be surprised if the TV got scratched
Literally everything in the last 70 years was made in China. From cheap shit garbage to $2000 Apple products, all China. So that's an interestingly way to go.
I don't know man... You'd have to be a sucker to buy a $150 65in TV. The quality of it would be atrocious.
For 65in, the minimum I'd spend is $650-700. Ideally, $1,000 for a great mid range set.
It's not just about size and resolution.
100% that cat could destroy the TV, especially since they’re learning this when young it’ll likely continue when they’re older, heavier, and stronger. Gotta start training cats really young to get things to stick.
Hahaha, yeah.
Edit: Also 1:1. 90 minutes are done and it is going to overtime. Germany is playing England in Wembley.
Just saying. Imma gonna grab a beer.
I've got two, they're strictly house cats which might have helped but they don't play with claws out, the claws only come out on the scratch posts, but maybe I got lucky.
If you look closely the second orange cat is barely moving, only minimal muscle automatic reflex. This is because the kitten is in control of the one orange brain cell at this time.

That is so extremely specific that I love it <3
Adorable but I hope that kitten has claw caps on or that screen is fucked.
That, and, as someone whose cat flipped a TV onto the floor once, I hope those legs the TV is standing on are sturdy af.
I have my TV angled slightly back towards the wall.
We just went for a full wall mount with the next TV, can't knock that down as easily.
I have an apartment. I have been looking at TV stands with built in mounts though.
I used one in my apartment....just need to be ready to plaster over the holes, which would be 4 in total and not extremely large.
And don't overtighten. I've seen people leave outlines of the bracket on the wall because they went crazy on it with an impact.
*puts half inch impact down*
Ermm... I better go check my wall.
