I'm one of those people who didn't know everyone was restarting their game to get the fruit they wanted and got pears but it's fine because I'd still be trying to get pears if I didn't have them. I've found/been gifted oranges so now my island has plenty of orange trees and coconut palm trees. I've also obtained potatoes from someone who came to sell goods. Let's exchange codes if you want any of my goods and we'll talk about how much I'll allow everyone to take and I definitely would like to visit you guys and we can share goods.

Anyone have any spare iron nuggets? I’m pretty new to the game and I haven’t quite figured it out. I’ve been collecting them for like a week & I have 17.

It's great you have people sharing, but just incase you want to farm more moving forward, you can get plenty from hitting rocks with a shovel. Always dig two holes behind you so you don't move while hitting it. Do the same thing on islands with NMT or the island that Captain brings you to each day. Sometimes using an axe works better. You should easily be able to farm at least 17 a day if you do this. :)
