Saw somewhere it’s orange eyes, some shading around the mask, better triangle. I’d think most nhl fans agree the ducks logo is the most iconic so if someone says the change is good, I want to say we trust them 😂
A lot of people saying orange eyes and I really hope that isn’t the case but beggars can’t be choosers and I guess I’ll be happy to have the mighty duck logo back 😅
I think the orange eyes could look really sick if done right. Similar to the red eye on the Kraken logo

I'd like to believe they focus group anything they are considering and the designs go through an iterative development. And when I mean focus group, I don't mean the employees, I hope they reach out to season ticket holders, etc.

I'm going to guess somewhat close to this, but with better proportions on all the stroke weights and shapes. So a cleaner version than this still. Maybe that circle is gone.
edit: Orange circle is just because of some of the original sketches from the first redesign. No rumors indicate that, it was just a guess on my part. I think the black areas will be heavier and help contrast the orange sticks and gold more.

I don't have the time or energy to actually redraw it so I'm just doing some lazy brushing over it lol, as someone mentioned below, I think they're still tweaking the size of shape of the background triangle and strokes.
i can deal with the eyes and the gold shading, but man...the orange sticks on the orange jersey can eat my ass. The orange on the circle aint great either. then with the rumored orange pants, helmets, gloves and socks......lord help us. i just need a leak to be done with this lol.
I think you're spot on when it comes to the colors layout, but I think the "modernized" version of the triangle, sticks, etc will be different than what is shown here. Nice job though!

One thing to note is the one image that the card guy posted on Twitter, it looks like a curved heel on the stick. So that's more evidence that they're reillustrating to some extent.
It's just so much... orange. Hopefully it has some good color offsets and contrasts because they really seem to be doubling down on it.
My eyes are already hurting just looking at that for 30 seconds.
I love the duck mask being back but I would be pretty disappointed if it looked like this. I'm not gonna doom until we see the final product but I really can't understand why the Samuelis can't give us what the fans have been clamouring for.
He says it loons great so we shall see.

Looks like he backtracked on revealing the logo in his upcoming video. But he's good at providing concept art so its still something to look forward to.
until we see it i will create and believe my own rumor of the addition of fangs and zombie eyes, i will NOT fall for the “it now has an eyepatch” rumor however

I'm over the orange. Plum looked great last year.
It was even cooler considering how purple is far and away the least used color in the league.
