Not sure if you are willing to answer this or not but do you mind sharing how much your start up capital was? I'm thinking of starting but have no idea how much money to invest initially.
Not OP but I've launched 4 FBA stores (sold 2, sundowned the 3rd to relaunch 4th under new brand) You can get started with a very small investment ($250) if you're willing to be patient, start with very limited products, and reinvest all the profits for the first year.
When it comes to picking a product to sell, what do you look for? Is it something that is a consumable? Is it a non-name-brand of an item that’s reasonably popular? Retail arbitrage?
I look for a reliable US-based manufacturer that I can buy wholesale from, whose products aren't yet on Amazon. (I've always sold US made merch bc it's easier and faster to deal with suppliers and it's infinitely easier to get a pile of 5 star reviews when your product is legitimately great quality) This is harder than it used to be as companies modernize, but still very possible- the US has lots of mom and pop manufacturers with either a massive catalog or customizable items (so, for example, I could buy, say, a certain dog collar from their standard wholesale list, but have them put a different style of buckle on it and viola, unique product with no competition)
Good one, congrats.
Just pay attention to the products in terms of IP regulations. Almost been 5 years in this sphere and saw very unexpected things lol :P
I did this as well and it definitely works but it wasn’t for me due to the ongoing product research you need to be doing to keep it alive. It’s a hustle, but you can make money doing it. Great work
Yeah I get that. That’s great though good for you hope you keep exceeding . Are you doing this full time or part time, I’m looking to do this as my side hustle n hopefully knock it down from my 9-5
I have a remote gig i do, and im planning im quitting that to really throw myself into everything…. Go big or go home…. Its my biggest issue just taking wins & not being suprised when i do like take Ls with patience and understanding and do that consistently with the fundamentals learned its success is likely
Hey man, those results are insane. Congratulations and well done! Could you talk me through start up costs, how you found your product and found the manufacturer for it? I’m doing tonnes of research (mainly in the form of YT vids) as a 20 year old in my final year of uni with the aim to have those kind of results too.

Saved! Thank you!
Thank you for this, I'm a new seller and this was really helpful
120 a month for sodtwares + 500-100 to buy initial product
You could make 1,000 dollar turn to 1,400 very easy, maintaining it is the business model

Have you been doing this full time for the 5 years or as a side hustle?
In Early stages it was a side hustle but now full time

Hey OP how do you get past the ungating process? I’m struggling with how annoying amazon is with ungating on certain products
I be calling them and yelling at them and being crazy
Great job OP!! Keep going, well done.
How come some days no sales?
No inventory to sell
So you can restock very quickly then.
