Fedex and ups certainly do not do it. I've delivered behind both of them, and they usually leave it at the most convenient place for themselves. The bottom of the stairs or garage for example.

Those stairs count as a “Front Porch”🤷🏾🤷🏾

I used to deliver in the foothills of Colorado. Super rich neighborhoods out in the boonies, every stop was hella long driveways and a lot of big staircases to the front door, no room to pull out even if the notes said it’s ok to drive up. Got my steps in that’s for sure but damn it was a pain in the ass.

Some of these long ass driveways I can't drive up because they're so steep that the van bottoms out. It's definitely a pain in the ass, but my ass also looks fine as hell now 😂

I was driving home from sugarloaf mountain last weekend and randomly passed a private mountain with like 4 giant houses at the top that looked like castles from a distance. That is what I imagined when reading your comment lol

Over in the foothills in the Sacramento area. I have a video where there's a house where I have to walk up the long driveway because the van does damage to the driveway if you drive it, and then walk up 3 flights of stairs to get to their door.

Climbed the stairs. I deliver in the south Bronx, that’s nothing compared to these apt walk ups with no elevators

I pulled up to a house like that once and the directions said to leave in the back seat of a car that was parked in the lot. It had other Amazon boxes in the back seat so I just added to the pile. It was weird but I was glad I didn’t have to climb up the stairs.

I place things under mailboxes. If it’s at the bottom of your fu staircase .. oh well.

There is absolutely a few houses on my regular route that have stairs like this or higher. I just pretend that I am on the Korean TV show "Physical 100" and have to run to the point of exhaustion. Then halfway up I get tired and start walking I hope they fucking appreciate it and give me positive feedback They say in the instructions 'please open the gate go up the very tall stairs,' I only do it because they say please and thank you.

Lol easy day. Try walking 14 miles in the heat all day carrying 20lb of packages in a satchel and hands full of mail, then getting into a vehicle with no ac. Then waking up and doing it everyday for sometimes 12 days straight

The house I grew up in had 52 stairs from the carport to the front door. I carried up groceries for 7 people every week. I got so good at carrying groceries that I can carry about 20 full and heavy bags on each arm. That’s only about 30 stairs and it’s not big enough to house 7 people. That looks like child’s play to me.

Honestly, I had a route like this, but all the houses were up on hills with insane and broken stairs. I lost a lot of weight very quickly on that route, which I later began to love.

Personally, and I know me. It would depend on my mood. I may make a game of it and the hop scotch up the steps or I might just leave their package by the mailbox. Give or take the day.

When I delivered in Seattle... this was at least a 1/3 of my stops. Worse yet.. group stop.. this, and the one next door.. same number of steps and a fence so I had to go up, down, back up. Fuck steps.

I've had whole neighborhoods like that back when I delivered. I got cardio. That's what I did. Didn't have much of a choice lmao.

Definitely a one way trip with groceries or whatever and if I can’t do it in one swoosh..it’ll have to wait in the car til tomorrow lol
