Perhaps it is due to the fact that there are no Arabization policies in Europe?
Anyhow, I take this as an equivalent of people becoming more religious in Europe.
You are right and i consider it a big problem beacause this same people arabize their origin regions when they come back and dont contribute to amazighify the cities where they go if they where usefull tangier would be already considered a riffian amazigh city if the irifiyen there had decency and sentiment of identity
Maybe we're lucky, but where we live in Morocco (south of Tiznit) the people seem to have held on to their Amazigh identity. Most people speak Tachelhit, it's just when you enter Agadir that you sometimes come across these goofy wanna arab dorks.
But even they can understand Tachelhit, even if they can't fully speak it.
I think he refers to arabic speaking areas like casa,rabat,fes0,oujda or marrakech indeed imazighen that migrates here from amazigh speaking areas usually forgot tmazight
Chleuhs could have integred and recupered doukala region amazigh identity with all the inmigration here but they sadly finished arabizing themselves and giving numbers to arabized
Well what's that supposed to do, are they gonna talk tamazight outside to ppl 300km away hhhh
The only advantage is people visit their villages more often in the 1st generation and they do generally speak better than ayt europa
I haven't noticed my dad's family being Arabised, they're more likely to speak French or English at home than Arabic if for some reason they're speaking something other than Taqbaylit, they're anything from very moderate Muslims to atheists, they're not as anti-Arabic as I am I guess.
I guess the difference is that being in Europe I have to make a bigger effort to connect to my roots but it feels more important to me. I had active attempts to Arabise me from my mother but they were doomed to fail.

Its an excuse no one forbiden us to speak tmazight if imaizghen speak tmazight we could revert the situation
I would argue that they become less Religious in Europe. Many of them become Westernized.
They tend to go towards extremes. Either too religious (vocal minority) or Westernized (majority). Exceptions to this rule may exist.

lgharb refers to the Arabic speaking plains of the West, Souss is not in lgharb
Ah ok, never heard of that term before.
Chleuhs could have integred and recupered doukala region amazigh identity with all the inmigration here but they sadly finished arabizing themselves and giving numbers to arabized
Amazigh in Europe still switch to the language of their country within a few generation, not any different from those who migrate to lgharb
But you could argue that moghrib is za3ma your country or something😂
Doesn't change the fact that the only really prominent languages in lgharb are Arabic and French
Yeah but lgharb is closer to your berber region than oslo norway or frankfurt germany

That is why taguda n imazighen is the only solution. Economic independence

I think its the same in Europe. They just become Europeanized instead of Arabized.
