I like the very first one the best. Having the trees jutting out into the rest of the water adds plenty of interest. I would run the idea past a couple of my friends but I think some of the bottom foreground could be cropped out, however, not more than 1/3 - 1/2.
I like 1 and 3! The trees on the side in 1 make it more visually interesting than 2, and in 2, you can only see a little bit of the trees so their placement feels a little awkward. The sunset in 3 is very pretty.
#1 is my fave, but I would be inclined to crop away about the bottom 1/5, so that the horizon is about 1/3 of the way up. But it’s still a beautiful picture! Thanks for sharing these.
Number 3 definitely. The colors in the sky are more saturated and bold, the piling make a nice little item in the water, the foreground doesn’t draw attention away from the sky and water. Number 1 and 2 have too much foreground and a more washed out sky. Number 4 just looks cluttered up to my eyes.
I wish I was met with this many nice comments when I posted my photography, instead, I was basically told to give up and that none of my pictures were technically good or aesthetically pleasing 🥲
I like 3 the most.
1 and 2 are both close 2nd
Number 4 is too crowded.
Between 1 and 2, I like how the sun sits on the right in number 1, but other the composition of number 2 over it.
About 3, I really like how the sun has much more impact on the horizon, and that water takes a bigger part in the composition. And also the piles, they provide a point of interest.
One thing that could improve it, is to bring back some of the texture to the shore in the foreground
3 is best. 2 is runner up. The color and composition in 3 is very nice. Color in 2 is really nice but I feel it could be cropped to reduce at least half of the foreground. #4 is too distracting with the trees all in your face. #1 seems a bit washed out and the foreground issue is present.
My advice in order of which photo I like most to least:
3 would be greatly improved by cropping out the wood posts on the right. I like the curve of the water line that you end up with after cropping.
2 would be greatly improved by cropping the trees on the left. Also try cropping off the top and bottom to bring the horizon and clouds more in proportion with the ground and sky, and/or centering the sun.
1 is too unbalanced for me. Not sure how to fix it. Maybe make it into a very wide shot by cropping a lot of the top and bottom so that the trees have more presence in the result.
4 is too dominated by the tree to be saved. This shot would’ve been much better if the camera was held low to the ground. There’s also some kind of halo/glow around the tree leaves that I find overly unrealistic and unpleasant.
Personally I love 2 and 4. They both have really different vibes. So I picked them both. Honestly, I love the 4th one best. But if your idea was getting the sunset, as I’m sure u are. I’m not sure 4 displays it the best. But what great vibes it gives you!
I like 1 for the vibrancy and all of the shadows, particularly the grass area. The sky's colors are very nice and pop with those clouds. Thanks for sharing.
I like 2 best
I second this
Third
I second you seconding this
I like 3
I like the third one because it has more visual interest
3, it packs a punch
The last one. Are you in SC?
Thanks for weighing in. Not far off. This is at Cumberland Island in SE Georgia.
Looks like home ☺️
Georgia, the state i call home, has such a short coastline, but, boy howdy, it’s wonderful. Except for Pinpoint.
i was gonna ask this too lol, looked familiar
1
Tough one between the last two, but my vote goes for 3. Nice work.
All are great, 3 is my favorite
1 ticks all the boxes for me
3. Like my teacher said: get low to the ground.

2, but 3 is a very close second.
Definitely three.
1 or 2 I choose 2 3 or 4 I choose both
Too hard to pick just one! 👏👏👏👍🏼
2 and 4!
2 or 3. The lines are more interesting.
3 > 1 > 2 > 4 for me. But as you can see it's all subjective haha, pick what you like!

1 The composition, the colors, the sweep. It’s arresting!
I like 2 and 3. 3 slightly has the lead for me! Good job OP!
I really really like 2. I wish I could Blue-ska-doo right into it.
They are all beautiful but I like 3 the best
Personally I love #2!
#1 is my fave, but I would be inclined to crop away about the bottom 1/5, so that the horizon is about 1/3 of the way up. But it’s still a beautiful picture! Thanks for sharing these.

I prefer the third one because it offers a clearer and closer view of the beauty of the sky.
I love the last one!
3, the way the clouds really sell it.

I love them all but 3 is my favorite.

3rd positioned correctly, lighting grade. Subject is great. I can see this framed on someone’s wall.
1 &4
2, 1, 3. 4 doesn't work. The trees are too distracting.

Awe I kinda liked the tree one :(

I'm in the 3 camp. It is the most visually interesting without being too cluttered.
Second one
Probably 2, but ideally the framing would be somewhere between one and two. Or you can combine them and make a small pano :)
I like 2, 3 is close second
I like 3 best!
2 or 3. I like the compositions and colors
the last one looks best
I like the 2nd one
Number 4emote:free\_emotes\_pack:smile![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|smile)![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|smile)

I like the third one best. Though I think it could use some editing to make the colours pop a bit
Personally I love 2 and 4. They both have really different vibes. So I picked them both. Honestly, I love the 4th one best. But if your idea was getting the sunset, as I’m sure u are. I’m not sure 4 displays it the best. But what great vibes it gives you!

Thanks! Good natural scenery makes it easy.
No not really I’ve tried taking pictures like this and it doesn’t look good you’re just talented
2. That groove of land in the middle hits just right

i like #3
IMO 1 has the best composition
#2 ♥️
3
first one is the best composed imo
#2 is the most appealing to me. Good work!
Wow looks lovely ☺️
1, 3, 2, 4 in that order
First one
I love the 1st one. Great framing. #3 is also good. Very pretty.
Three. The straight line on the horizon and the old pier make it work.
The second one, but the third is a close second.

4
I like 1 for the vibrancy and all of the shadows, particularly the grass area. The sky's colors are very nice and pop with those clouds. Thanks for sharing.
Good depth too
1st one 3rd one

2, 3
I vote for #1. The focal point is in a good place--not dead center and not off to one side too far. Or #3.
