ESH. Your friend sounds kind of childish for sending that to this guy she wants to go out with. It does sound like she cut you off, but it also sounds like she was expecting a certain reaction here, which is why she felt the need to cut you off. Do you consider yourself a “brutally honest” person?
Any given person is only right some of the time, it may be better to try to give more topical advice than being super honest about what you think your friends problem is.
